Volume 3 Chapter 3: The introductions and windows of souls

He didn't look back at the charcoal ocean or the place where he had just screamed for mercy; he simply moved toward the only "home" his broken instincts could find.

Shin regenerated his face before stepping in...

Each step toward the house was something new for him.....

He didn't knew this is what he thought home is......

This mansion had many beautiful paining framed in the wall....

As Shin turned his head, the movement was jagged—mechanical, like a broken puppet.

The white gleam of bone in his neck shifted under the raw, pulsing tissue.

He ignored the boy’s unconscious form.

His focus was entirely on the walls.

The mansion was filled with paintings, but to Shin’s glitched eyes, they weren't art.

They were windows into a reality he couldn't grasp.

He moved from one canvas to the next, his "bruises from the abyss" scanning the colors.

The First Painting: A landscape of a golden field.

Shin’s Thought: (Yellow. Dry. What is this?Is this a window)

The Second Painting: An old man sitting by a fire.

Shin’s Thought: (Is that a human like me and what is he sitting by? it is looking like the thing i saw while arriving in mansion in the sky which was red

I don't know what that was.)

The Third Painting: A woman holding a blue flower.

Shin’s Internal Glitch: As his eyes landed on this painting, the metallic tang of doom spiked. The blue of the flower flickered. For a second, it wasn't a blue flower; it was the medicine bottle next to some girl bed.

The silence of the mansion didn't last.

Just as Shin’s blank gaze settled on the boy, the heavy gravity of the house was shattered by a sound—a frantic, rhythmic pounding against the wooden floors.

Someone was running.

And then, someone was in front of shin

A girl in white maid dress, brown long hair...

She was sweating...

She said: (Hey, master... at last i found where you are..

Master why are you unconscious? and also who is this man bringing you on his shoulders)

But, boy didn't heard even single word because of him being unconscious....

Suddenly, shin eye moved toward the chest which was soaked from the water...

To shin who don't know about any adult things, he was just a kid who didn't know anything...

But suddenly a vision arrived...

(........) Said: (Hey, remember when a girl is soaked and her skin is reveling you need to cover him with your jacket or anything.

And also after that you have to say"Miss please see at you sometimes.... you are soaked and also revealing some skin...." got it.)

The girl face was not clear like before but after that vision shin suddenly wears out his jacket and placed it on her covering her bare skin....

Shin said: (Miss please see at you sometimes.... you are soaked and also revealing some skin....)

Shin didn't know what this mean but it was something he heard from that vision and without any thought he did this...

Then, the maid face became fully red or rather she became embarrassed....

Maid said : (Ahum.... th~~~~~ank you for th~~~is...

And also my name is yui akari so call me that)

Suddenly something feels known to him it was name....

Shin said (Y~~u~~~i......), he said while breathing very less

The atmosphere in the hallway shifted instantly.

The word Yui hung in the air like a ghost, vibrating with a frequency that threatened to shatter the newly regenerated skin on Shin’s face.

To Shin, the name wasn't just a label; it was a something that he only know but can't remember.

As the name left his lips, the mansion’s hallway seemed to stretch and distort.

The maid, Yui Akari, stood paralyzed, her face still flushed with embarrassment from Shin’s strange, robotic gallantry.

She saw a man who looked healed"on the surface, but whose eyes was suggesting that he has been suffered so long.

Inside Shin’s mind, the name Yui acted like a key turning in a rusted lock.

It collided with the Blur Girl, who name he couldn't recoginzed.

The name Yui began to overlap in his internal static, creating a feedback loop of pain.

Shin’s hand, still resting near the jacket he placed on her, began to tremble.

Not with fear, but with the raw, unchanneled power of a man who had forgotten he was once having someone dear by himself.

Shin Whispered: (Y~~u~~i... That sound... it tastes like... sickness. It tastes like... a blue flower. Why does it hurt to say it?)

Yui Akari looked at Shin, her heart hammering against her ribs.

She was a maid for this mansion, for the young master on Shin’s shoulder, yet this stranger spoke her name as if he were mourning a dead world.

Yui Akari: (Yes... that is my name. But don't say like you are someone close to me... And who the hell are you? You talk as if you’ve forgotten how to speak entirely. Please, give the young master to me! He needs a doctor, he’s freezing!)

In the vision, he wasn't standing in a mansion. He was in a small, dimly lit room.

A woman—the Blur Girl—was coughing.

He was holding her hand.

He was trying to remember a joke to make her smile, but his mind was already starting to fail

............................

The vision snapped. Shin let the boy slide from his shoulder into the maid's arms.

He said: (No, nothing~~~ it was nothing i just~~~ thought your name as food which would be something delicious to ate)

Suddenly, maid grabbed the boy from shin shoulder and begin walking to the room as fast she could...

While running she slipped then got up and begin running as fast she could......

Then, she said: ((Hey, foll~~~ow me t~~~o the you~~ng master ro~~~om))

Her voice echoed violently through the mansion, a piercing shriek that cut through the silence even before she turned the corner.

She was shouting at the top of her lungs, her words coming out in frantic gasps as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her

She whispered: (What was he thinking while doing that and also~~~~~ saying my name is sound like a deli~~~~cious thing to a~~t~~e

What happend to me?

Do i have any fever? I think i have one

After all i never got flustered in my life ever, many men's confessed their love to me)

He didn't do it gently; he did it with the mechanical indifference of someone dropping a heavy stone.

Shin Said: (Doctor... sickness... I know these words. They are the words for when a human... stops. Like the blue flower in the window.)

He turned his head back toward the third painting

The woman with the blue flower. 

He stared at it with such intensity that the canvas began to smoke.

Shin: (Akari... you are a 'Maid.

That is another word from the hole in my head. 

A maid is someone who stays... someone who doesn't leave when the medicine runs out. Am I right?)

Yui Akari backed away, clutching the boy to her chest. 

The "metallic tang of doom" was so thick now that the very shadows in the hallway were beginning to bleed down the walls.

Yui Akari: (I... I don't know what you're talking about! You're scaring me! Someone! Help young master he has been collapsed we need a doctor now!!!!)

Shin didn't follow the maid.

 He didn't follow the boy. 

Their voices—the frantic shrieks of Yui Akari and the heavy gasps of the starving child

Shin whispered: (I just need to do what i think is right~~~)
