Chapter 13:

Volume 3 Chapter 7: The Return

Zankoku Na Jinsei : In Another World I Was Suffered Like Hell (Volume 2 & 3 & 4)

The woman said; ( Sorry about this, how rude am i...

My name is Eslimya...

And i am a goddess who represent lust and and ice

Something ring inside your head by my introduction)

Shin said; (You can say that)

...........................................

Shin said: (So what do you think? How many days will you take to bring my memories back)

Eslimya said: (Days? Don't worry it will be done in only three days but...)

Shin said : (But what?)

Eslimya said: (But, for you it would be like many years i think more than billion years....

You would think billion years has been since you are trying to get back your memories....

I am asking you again... after hearing me you still want them back....)

Shin said: (I don't care what happens to me, i don't even care how many years passed from my point  of view

I want my memories back....)

Shin whispered: (I want to know who is she? I am sure she was important for me so much that i could do anything for her...

I want to see her face

Everytime her vison appear, she was blur...

I was only able to hear her...)

The hallway was silent, the air so cold that the flowers scent from the morning was completely frozen out of existence.

Yui Akari stood paralyzed, watching the matured Shin make a deal with a woman she just meet....

Eslimya: (A billion years are nothing in front of you? You really are obsessed with her

She drives you so crazy

Shin darling.

You’ve forgotten what Time does to a soul.

 It erodes everything.

It will turn you into the man you once hate, who you wanted to kill...

But... if you are truly that thirsty for the past...)

She stepped closer, her yellow eyes glowing like dying stars.

She reached out a cold, porcelain hand and touched his chest

Eslimya: (Ok then for now show me my room we will begin that after one month not now...

Enjoy as much you can, but hear me, the more you will remember the more you will be broke and also i want to know about that bitch too who you re so obsessed with....)

Eslimya’s voice was like silk, but her words were poison.

She smirked, her yellow eyes dancing with malice as she leaned closer to Shin’s face.

Eslimya’s mouth curled into a jagged, mocking slit. She was enjoying the taste of her own venom.

Eslimya: (That bitch sure has offered you her body. I am sure that bitc—)

THRUM.

The sound wasn't heard; it was felt in the marrow of their bones.

The air in the hallway suddenly had the weight of lead.

WOOSSHH.

In a sickening, silent blur, Eslimya’s physical form didn't just break

It pulped.

It was as if an invisible,  hand had slammed her into a microscopic point.

Her skin tore like wet parchment, her bones snapped into a fine white powder, and her divine essence was shredded into grey, flickering ashes.

There was lot of blood, the terrifying sound of reality rejecting her presence.

The ashes didn't fall.

They hung suspended in a vacuum of frozen time.

Shin’s face was no longer looking as human.

The abyssal eyes had expanded, bleeding out past his pupils until his entire sockets were twin weeping holes of pure, pressurized nothingness.

The skin on his face pulled tight over his skull, turning a necrotic, porcelain white.

The Sticker on his cheek didn't peel; it turned to carbon and vanished.

He leaned into the cloud of her ashes, his breath coming out as a visible, black frost.

When he spoke, it wasn't a voice—it was the sound of a Warning, warning for last time...

Shin: (Say one more dirty word about her...)

The floorboards beneath him began to liquefy, turning into a black, tar-like substance that smelled of ancient graves.

The shadows in the hallway grew teeth, elongating and snapping at the air.

Shin: (...and I will not just kill you.

I will make you so much suffered that you would even forget who you are or rather you would beg me for death...

I will use every torturing weapen i could to rip your eyes away, your face away..

When you will completely dead i would bring you back and again same thing.....)

Suddenly, from behind yui akari grabbed his hand..

Yui akari: (What are you doing? Are you pyscho?

You did this to her just because she said a girl bitc---)

Shin moved his neck toward her so hard that his neck bones was broke...

And then eyes with only anger saw her like she was an insect....

Shin: (Shut your mouth and get the hell out of my way!!! if you didn"t did, then i would not hesitate to break you into pieces.....)

The violence in his gaze was a physical assault.

It felt like needles pressing against the back of Yui and Eslimya’s non-existent throat.

Yui step behind slowly slowly and then got slipped...

She was fall on ground with bleeding from her leg but still shin didn't even saw at her......

The Lead Wall in his mind was roaring, a furnace of protective hate that threatened to level the entire mansion.

Shin said to eslimya....

Shin: (Do you understand, you pathetic, daughter of bitch? If you breathe her name with that freaki* mouth again, I will turn your scream so hard that lasts a billion years.)

The ashes shuddered.

The grey particles began to knit back together, but they did so with a frantic, desperate violence—the sound of wet meat slapping against bone.

Eslimya reformed, but she wasn't a Queen anymore.

She was a broken thing, her wings tattered and her yellow eyes leaking tears of frozen gold.

She collapsed to her knees, her lungs seizing as she tried to breathe air that Shin had turned into poison.

Behind them, Yui Akari now had nose bleeding from the sheer atmospheric pressure too but still shin glare was on that woman....

Yui looked at Shin and didn't see a friend.

She saw the Death......

Shin stood over the trembling, reforming mass of Eslimya

He didn't offer a hand or showed any mercy.

He looked down at the Goddess of Lust—now a broken pile of tattered wings and golden tears—with a coldness that made the Ancient Ice look like a summer breeze.

Suddenly, esmilya controlled herself and then,
(Shin, control....

control yourself, think what would happen if you killed me...

You would never get your memories back...

Shin (His voice a low, vibrating hum of death): (Get up. You said one month.

I will give you one month to live in this house.

But if I hear your heart beat too loud with a thought of her...

I will pull your soul out through your fingernails.)

He turned slowly.

His eyes were still twin pits of nothingness as they landed on Yui Akari, who was shivering on the floor, her blood staining the expensive rug they had chosen together months ago.

The Matured Man was gone.

The Caring Pillar was dead.

Yui Akari (Whispering through her tears and blood): (S-Shin... please... look at me... it’s Akari...)

Shin’s expression didn't soften.

He looked at her bleeding leg with the clinical indifference of a scientist looking at a broken test tube.

Shin: (Clean the floor, Maid. The smell of your fear is irritating my nose.)

He walked past her, his heavy footsteps sounding like coffin lids slamming shut.

He didn't look back.

He walked toward his room, the black tar-like substance on the floor vanishing behind him, leaving only the scent of ozone and the memory of a scream.

When yui was about to drop her tear,

He reached out to touch Yui’s bleeding leg, his hands trembling.

The same hands that had just turned a Goddess into wet pulp were now shaking with the fear of a child who had broken a another thing he love.

(Hey, are you hurt? is it because of me? sorry i lost control over myself.... i really am sorry...)

Yui Akari looked at her hands, stained with her own blood.

She looked at the man kneeling before her—the man who had just told her to Clean the floor, Maid with a voice that didn't hold a single drop of humanity.

His voice was soft again.

 Gentle.

The abyssal holes in his face had shrunk back into the eyes she recognized.

He reached out to touch her bleeding leg, his hands trembling with a sudden, desperate kindness.

But Yui didn't feel comforted. She felt a cold, sharp truth piercing her chest.

Tears falling from her eyes,

(I am sure you love her very much.... even more than me, or anything.... right?)

Shin froze.

The apology died in his throat.

The tears that began to fall from his eyes weren't for Yui's pain—they were for the Blur Girl.

Even now, as he held Yui’s hand, his soul was miles away,

wandering in a garden he couldn't remember, searching for a face he couldn't see.

Shin said: (I am sorry, it is my mistake.

I just can't control myself. I.........I real------)

He wanted to say he cared for Akari. But the lie wouldn't come out.

The Lead Wall in his mind was a tombstone for a woman he loved more than life itself.

Yui placed her finger on his lips. Her smile was the saddest thing Shin had ever seen—it was the smile of someone who had just realized they were the Second Choice in a world of one.

Yui said: (Don't say anything....)

Shin raised his head up...

Shin : (Why?

Why are you saying this?

i hurted you so bad and yet you ar---)

Yui looked at him with a sad smile on her face nodding her head...

She looked at him, her vision blurry from the nosebleed and the tears.

She saw a man whose soul was being pulled in two directions—one toward the warmth of the home they built, and the other toward a obsession.

Yui said: (Don't say anything.....

In fact...... you don't need to say anything. i know already...

After all, you are in love with her so much)

The silence that followed was heavier than Shin’s power.

Shin: (Is that what this is? Love? To be willing to destroy everything—even you—just to protect a name I don't even remember?)

Yui Akari (With a sad smile): (It’s the most terrifying kind of love, Shin.

It’s the kind that doesn't care about the world.

It only cares about the person he love.)

In the corner, Eslimya had finished knitting her skin back together.

She stood up, her white fur coat stained with her own blood.

She didn't speak or mock.

She looked at Shin with a new kind of hunger—not as friend, student but again as a person she love....

She let go of his hand.

But then shin grabbed her hand again...

(I know i have no right to even speak or say anything to you so please....

please let me heal you with my powers at least...)

Yui said: (You have the right after all you are a member of this family right? And let me say this...

Please my friend, student heal me with your powers i would be happy if you do)

He healed yui then yui let go his hand....

It was a small movement, but it felt like the end of the world.

For a year, she had been his anchor.

For a year, she had taught him how to be a man.

For a year they have been enjoying so much

Throwing pillows at each other while playing, took bath while playing.....

But in one second, she realized she was just a placeholder.

She was just a replacement in shin heart...

Shin: (Akari... I...)

Yui Akari: (Shin, you have two options...

Option 1: go and get the memories you wanted but for that you would have to suffer we don't even know how much then we have option 2: Stay here... )

Yui whispered: (Personally, i would suggest you to be here because i am saying this for you

No..... i am saying this for myself i know i am selfish but i don't want to let you go......)

Shin without any second thought.....
( i will get my memories back next month as that woman said and for that time i want to spend my time here with all  of you as much possible

Would you not mind letting me live here)

She thought about Shin sloth and half-sleepiness, he had made a habit of wandering into her room.

For Yui, those nights—waking up next to him, seeing his "porcelain" face relaxed in sleep—were the building blocks of her world.

She thought those moments was enough for her.

She thought she was filling the void in his heart.

Yui nodded her head,
(You can stay as long you want shin but please for today don't come to my room i have something important to do ...

I can't tell you what but its girls work understand?)

She stood up, ignoring the pain in her leg.

She didn't let him help her.

She walked away, her footsteps echoing the loneliness that had just filled the Home.

Behind them, Eslimya watched from the shadows, a dark, bruised smirk returning to her face.

She had been broken into ashes, but she had won.

She had seen the truth: Shin wasn't just obsessed.

He was cursed.

After a while she got free from her work she do always like cleaning, washing and many things...

Now night arrived and the maid who was very tired from work got to her room and then first time in one year she looked the room...

Yui stood in his room, looking at the bed where Shin had crawled in so many times, half-asleep and searching for warmth.

She realized that he wasn't looking for her warmth; he was just trying to escape the coldness of his own empty soul.

Yui Akari’s Internal Monologue: (Every night... every morning when I saw you there... I thought I was the one keeping you alive.

But I was just a blanket.

I was just something you used to hide from the dark until you found a way back to Her.)

She looked at her hands—the hands that used to brush his hair while he slept.

Now, they were just hands that had to clean up the blood of her won which is because of shin.

She used spell which unable anyone outside the room to hear anything...

She dIdn't wanted the Father, the Kid, or especially Shin to hear her break.

She has been the "perfect maid" and "perfect teacher" for a year. Now, behind that spell, she can finally be a broken girl.

She sat on the edge of the bed—the bed that still smelled faintly of the strawberry shampoo she had used on Shin’s hair.

She clutched the pillow he used to rest his head on.

The Silence Spell hummed at the edges of the room, a shimmering barrier between her and the world.

She didn't start with a sob.

It started with a shudder that traveled through her entire body.

Then, the first scream came.

It was raw, ugly, and filled with the realization that she had given her soul to a man who didn't even have a soul to give back.

Yui (Screaming into the pillow): (WHY...........

WHY......

YOU IDIOT!

WHY DID YOU MAKE ME LOVE YOU?!

WHY WERE YOU SO INNOCENT IF YOU WERE GOING TO BE THIS CRUEL?!

I CAN'T EVEN BLAME YOU BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNEW ABOUT ANYTHING

I LOVE YOU!!!!

BUT I CAN'T SAY IF I DID THAN EVEN FRIEND SHIP WON'T STAY

AAAAGGHHHH!!!!!!!

AAAAHHHHHHH!!

AAAHHHMMMMMM)

Outside the room, the hallway remained perfectly quiet.

Shin stood at the door for a moment, his hand raised as if to knock but the thought he will be forced to stay here and leave blur girl.

He felt a glitch in the air—the taste of a spell—and he didn't knew she was crying.

He was about to knock but suddenly a hand stopped him....

It was the hand of father

The father: ( Hey, lets go outside for a moment)

After they walked outside..

The night air was crisp, but it felt suffocating.

Shin stood beside the sea, the moonlight reflecting off his porcelain skin, making him look more like a statue than a man.

The punch from the Father had left a red mark on his jaw—the first "imperfection" on his face in a year.

The Father: (You didn't even dodge. Why? With your reflexes, you could have taken my head off before I even closed my fist.)

Shin: (Because your hand didn't slip. It was a 'Weight.' You gave me the weight of your anger. I thought... maybe if I took it, the air in the hallway wouldn't feel so heavy.)

The Father looked at Shin, his own heart aching.

He remembered the years he spent mourning his wife, the Dying Flower.

He saw the same madness in Shin’s eyes, but it was worse.

Shin wasn't mourning a death; he was mourning a void.

The Father: (Tell me, Shin... honestly. If that Goddess told you that to see the Blur Girl’s face, you had to burn this mansion down with us inside... would you do it?)

Shin looked at the window of Yui’s room.

He could still feel the glitch of her silence spell.

He thought of the kittens, the bath, and the strawberry jam.

Then, he thought of the voice in his head—the one that sounded like the only truth he had ever known.

Shin (Voice like shifting ice): (I would not want to. It would hurt. But... yes. I would burn the world to see her smile once. Is that what Monster means?)

The Father: (No. That’s what Cursed means.

 You aren't a man, Shin.

You’re a homing pigeon trying to find a nest that was destroyed some years ago.

And the worst part? You’re taking a girl-----

Nothing)

The Father turned away, unable to look at Shin’s perfect face anymore.

The Father: (Go to your room. This 'One Month'... it isn't a gift.

It’s a funeral.

We are just waiting for the person we knew to die so the old one can come back.)
