Chapter 40 — High Rise Mayham

The concussion grenade detonated before the NWO agents could react, leaving them disoriented and dazed.
Rachel and Esther immediately burst out of the open doorway and efficiently dispatched the remaining four agents outside.
Rachel: 「Two teams down, three to go!」 She looked down the hallway. 「OH...」
Esther reacted with lightning speed, snatching up a downed body to shield both herself and Rachel just as the third team began firing down the hallway.
Esther: 「Argh.」Rachel: 「Don't worry, I'll do something.」
When Rachel heard the click-clack of reloading, she quickly hurled a heavy corpse toward Team 3, shattering their formation.
Esther immediately moved behind the airborne body, and Rachel threw two more bodies, charging in after them.
NWO Agent#05: 【Fuck, no one said these bitches were this strong!】 He looked up just as Esther materialized in front of him. 「Wha—」
Esther smashed the skull of the body she was following directly into NWO Agent#05’s chest, killing him instantly. She then leaped toward NWO Agent#06.
Rachel reached NWO Agent#07, crushed his skull with her weighted handbag, threw the bag to Esther, and then slid toward NWO Agent#08.
NWO Agent#06 took a desperate swing with his gun at Esther. She swung her body mid-air, parrying the attack with her handgun, and used the upward motion to strike and break the lower half of his skull.
NWO Agent#08 aimed his gun at Esther, but Rachel tripped him with her whole weight as she slid. As he fell forward, he landed face-first onto Rachel’s raised stiletto and died.
Esther stuck her landing, and Rachel stood up, removing her stiletto from the agent’s face.
Esther scoffed. 「And here I thought you don't open your legs for any man...」
Rachel giggled. 「Wow, sis! Just because I do that doesn't mean all of them are qualified to have sex with me! Only JJ does...」
Esther sighed heavily. 「You’re really trying to scare our little brother with your incestry, aren't you?」
Rachel laughed softly. 「That's not true.」 Esther looked at her suspiciously. 「Alright, maybe it is, but you can't blame me!」
「Huh?」
「Well, I mean it's genetics. You know Mom was also sexually attracted to the strongest man on the planet at the time.」
Esther sighed. 「Yeah, but Mom didn't sleep with Uncle Anthony because he was her brother-in-law, remember?」
Rachel giggled. 「Okay, if you say so.」
「Yes, because it's facts.」
Rachel called out to Sayo, and the scared woman cautiously joined them.
「Alright, how are we going to get down now?」Esther asked sharply.
Rachel sighed, pouting. 「Don't tell me you're suggesting we wait for them to come up?」
Esther sighed. 「Trust me, I hate waiting just as much as you.」
Rachel immediately hyped herself up, her energy returning. 「Alright, let's go down guns blazing!」
「I was waiting for you to say that.」Esther said tying her hair into a ponytail
The three women took the stairs down. When they reached the lobby, they stopped, shocked.In the middle of the other twelve defeated NWO Agents stood a calm Yulia, who was calmly holding the head of the sole survivor of her carnage.
Yulia saw them. 「Oh, Elder Sisters! It's good to see you okay.」
Rachel pouted dramatically. 「Yulia, they were our prey!」
Yulia chuckled. 「Oh, sorry, I didn't know.」
「Don't mind her, Yulia. But how did you get here so fast?」
「This place is surprisingly close to the beach where Little Brother fought that shark.」
Esther chuckled. 「Damn, what are the odds of that?」
「Pretty low. But when I saw these NWO scum camping down here, I knew they were up to no good.」
Rachel looked at Esther. 「See? I told you they were waiting for us down here!」
Esther asked sarcastically.「So what, you want a piece of candy?」
Rachel looked at her, suddenly optimistic.
Esther sighed in disappointment「No, I don't have candy.」
Rachel looked momentarily sad. 「Aw...」
Esther looked towards Yulia.「Anywho, do JJ and the others know about this, and what information have you gathered from that guy?」
「No, they don't know about this. And these scum were sent to get two targets.」Yulia answered.
「Two?」Esther asked a bit perplexed.
「Yes: Sayo and Big Sister Rachel.」
Rachel was genuinely surprised. 「Wait, why me?! No, don't tell me it's because I'm beautiful, right?」
「No. It's because you are late Aunt Mary's biological daughter, and they want to breed you non-consensually.」
Rachel was shocked. 「No way...」
Yulia continued, a bit nervous. 「Um... Yeah. They think if they can recreate what happened to Aunt Mary with you, but have your children indoctrinated by them, they would succeed where they failed with JJ and Devon.」
Rachel gasped, looking momentarily downcast. 「Hey, Esther and Yulia. No one finds out about that last part, am I understood?」
「But Bi—」 Rachel cut her off, her voice serious.
「Yulia, I said am I understood?」
「Um... Yes. But why?」
Rachel sighed, straightening her hair. 「I don't want to see my twin brothers that depressed ever again.」 She looked at Yulia. 「So promise you won't tell anyone, especially Devon or JJ.」
Yulia, feeling internal conflict, replied. 「Alright, I understand.」
Rachel gave a sad smile. 「Thanks, Yulia. It means more than you know.」
Yulia answered.「Okay, Big Sister.」 【Is she opposed to it because of what happened to JJ and Devon when they got experimented on, or is it something else?】
◽Back on The Beach, 3 hours later◽
JJ looked at the almost fully stripped megalodon skeleton from the ground. 「Damn.」
Joshua was on top of the skeleton. 「Is something wrong?」
「Nah, I thought I'd be here until Friday at the latest, but it's no longer the case.」
Devon, on top of the skeleton, chuckled. 「Well, I mean we do work on projects faster when the three of us are together.」
JJ laughed softly. 「Yeah, you have a point with that.」 His phone rang. 「Shit, it's Grandma!」
Devon and Joshua immediately fell quiet.
JJ answered the phone and put it on speaker. 「Hi, Grandmother.」
Aurora: ⟦Just know I'm aware of what you and your brothers are doing, so you better understand that I'm not amused about the stunt you specifically pulled!⟧
JJ was instantly nervous. 「But I wasn't even the one who started it!」
Aurora: ⟦It doesn't matter. What matters is that you showed those punks whose boss!⟧ She then chuckled. ⟦Oh, I wish I could see your face right now, because you sound shook!⟧
JJ gave a nervous chuckle. 「Alright, Grandma, you got me. But why did you call? It couldn't be just to prank me, was it?」
Aurora: ⟦Oh yeah. Your Aunt Jasmine and Uncle Anthony will be in Japan to make sure you are well behaved.⟧
「But, Grandma, I'm a grown man! I don't need to be looked after!」
Aurora: ⟦Remind me again which one of my grandsons made blueprints plus a formula to make monsters just to have the enemy steal it purposely?⟧
JJ gasped. 「No way! Grandma, you knew?!」

JJ chuckled nervously. 「Well, damn, guess I'm caught.」
Joshua and Devon got down from the massive carcass and walked over to him.
「So, what'd Grandma say?」 Joshua asked.
「Well, Aunt Jasmine and Uncle Anthony will be watching me, but I think from a distance, because Lord knows I can't live with Aunt Jasmine.」
「Ain't that the truth! She's scary when you get on her bad side.」Joshua laughed as he said it.
Devon chuckled, patting JJ on the shoulder. 「And considering how you are living, good luck and I hope you survive!」
「Ay, don't curse me like that!」
Devon laughed. 「Sorry, Lil Bro, but I had to.」
「Well, next time you think of it, don't do it! I don't need a death flag over my head!」
Joshua chuckled.「Seems like you are still superstitious.」
「Of course I am! That's how I've been staying alive!」
Devon looked at the megalodon. 「Alright, let's finish butchering that big ass shark so you can go back home already.」

Esther sighed heavily. 「You’re really trying to scare our little brother with your incestry, aren't you?」
Rachel laughed softly. 「That's not true.」 Esther looked at her suspiciously. 「Alright, maybe it is, but you can't blame me!」
「Huh?」
「Well, I mean it's genetics. You know Mom was also sexually attracted to the strongest man on the planet at the time.」
Esther sighed. 「Yeah, but Mom didn't sleep with Uncle Anthony because he was her brother-in-law, remember?」
Rachel giggled. 「Okay, if you say so.」
「Yes, because it's facts.」
Rachel called out to Sayo, and the scared woman cautiously joined them.
「Alright, how are we going to get down now?」Esther asked sharply.
Rachel sighed, pouting. 「Don't tell me you're suggesting we wait for them to come up?」
Esther sighed. 「Trust me, I hate waiting just as much as you.」
Rachel immediately hyped herself up, her energy returning. 「Alright, let's go down guns blazing!」
「I was waiting for you to say that.」Esther said tying her hair into a ponytail
The three women took the stairs down. When they reached the lobby, they stopped, shocked.In the middle of the other twelve defeated NWO Agents stood a calm Yulia, who was calmly holding the head of the sole survivor of her carnage.
Yulia saw them. 「Oh, Elder Sisters! It's good to see you okay.」
Rachel pouted dramatically. 「Yulia, they were our prey!」
Yulia chuckled. 「Oh, sorry, I didn't know.」
「Don't mind her, Yulia. But how did you get here so fast?」
「This place is surprisingly close to the beach where Little Brother fought that shark.」
Esther chuckled. 「Damn, what are the odds of that?」
「Pretty low. But when I saw these NWO scum camping down here, I knew they were up to no good.」
Rachel looked at Esther. 「See? I told you they were waiting for us down here!」
Esther asked sarcastically.「So what, you want a piece of candy?」
Rachel looked at her, suddenly optimistic.
Esther sighed in disappointment「No, I don't have candy.」
Rachel looked momentarily sad. 「Aw...」
Esther looked towards Yulia.「Anywho, do JJ and the others know about this, and what information have you gathered from that guy?」
「No, they don't know about this. And these scum were sent to get two targets.」Yulia answered.
「Two?」Esther asked a bit perplexed.
「Yes: Sayo and Big Sister Rachel.」
Rachel was genuinely surprised. 「Wait, why me?! No, don't tell me it's because I'm beautiful, right?」
「No. It's because you are late Aunt Mary's biological daughter, and they want to breed you non-consensually.」
Rachel was shocked. 「No way...」
Yulia continued, a bit nervous. 「Um... Yeah. They think if they can recreate what happened to Aunt Mary with you, but have your children indoctrinated by them, they would succeed where they failed with JJ and Devon.」
Rachel gasped, looking momentarily downcast. 「Hey, Esther and Yulia. No one finds out about that last part, am I understood?」
「But Bi—」 Rachel cut her off, her voice serious.
「Yulia, I said am I understood?」
「Um... Yes. But why?」
Rachel sighed, straightening her hair. 「I don't want to see my twin brothers that depressed ever again.」 She looked at Yulia. 「So promise you won't tell anyone, especially Devon or JJ.」
Yulia, feeling internal conflict, replied. 「Alright, I understand.」
Rachel gave a sad smile. 「Thanks, Yulia. It means more than you know.」
Yulia answered.「Okay, Big Sister.」 【Is she opposed to it because of what happened to JJ and Devon when they got experimented on, or is it something else?】
◽Back on The Beach, 3 hours later◽
JJ looked at the almost fully stripped megalodon skeleton from the ground. 「Damn.」
Joshua was on top of the skeleton. 「Is something wrong?」
「Nah, I thought I'd be here until Friday at the latest, but it's no longer the case.」
Devon, on top of the skeleton, chuckled. 「Well, I mean we do work on projects faster when the three of us are together.」
JJ laughed softly. 「Yeah, you have a point with that.」 His phone rang. 「Shit, it's Grandma!」
Devon and Joshua immediately fell quiet.
JJ answered the phone and put it on speaker. 「Hi, Grandmother.」
Aurora: ⟦Just know I'm aware of what you and your brothers are doing, so you better understand that I'm not amused about the stunt you specifically pulled!⟧
JJ was instantly nervous. 「But I wasn't even the one who started it!」
Aurora: ⟦It doesn't matter. What matters is that you showed those punks whose boss!⟧ She then chuckled. ⟦Oh, I wish I could see your face right now, because you sound shook!⟧
JJ gave a nervous chuckle. 「Alright, Grandma, you got me. But why did you call? It couldn't be just to prank me, was it?」
Aurora: ⟦Oh yeah. Your Aunt Jasmine and Uncle Anthony will be in Japan to make sure you are well behaved.⟧
「But, Grandma, I'm a grown man! I don't need to be looked after!」
Aurora: ⟦Remind me again which one of my grandsons made blueprints plus a formula to make monsters just to have the enemy steal it purposely?⟧
JJ gasped. 「No way! Grandma, you knew?!」
Aurora scoffed. ⟦Of course I did! I taught you how to lie, remember? Oh, and don't cause trouble for your uncle and aunt. Bye.⟧ She hung up.
JJ chuckled nervously. 「Well, damn, guess I'm caught.」
Joshua and Devon got down from the massive carcass and walked over to him.
「So, what'd Grandma say?」 Joshua asked.
「Well, Aunt Jasmine and Uncle Anthony will be watching me, but I think from a distance, because Lord knows I can't live with Aunt Jasmine.」
「Ain't that the truth! She's scary when you get on her bad side.」Joshua laughed as he said it.
Devon chuckled, patting JJ on the shoulder. 「And considering how you are living, good luck and I hope you survive!」
「Ay, don't curse me like that!」
Devon laughed. 「Sorry, Lil Bro, but I had to.」
「Well, next time you think of it, don't do it! I don't need a death flag over my head!」
Joshua chuckled.「Seems like you are still superstitious.」
「Of course I am! That's how I've been staying alive!」
Devon looked at the megalodon. 「Alright, let's finish butchering that big ass shark so you can go back home already.」
JJ feeling relieved.「Aight, thanks. I'd really appreciate it.」
