Uninvited Guests

Leo was almost six and a half feet tall, with red bushy hair and bright red eyes. He had silver armor with red patterns on it and he had a silver sword that he carried. Leo was also one of the people who cared most about honor and pride. He always worked hard and showed people the importance of being happy when he did it. He also had decency that was respected among everyone.

On the other hand, Hayase was just like Leo, she was a happy person, she was hardworking and she was a quick thinker. But different from the other knights, she was the shortest person among them and she was five feet tall. She had long blonde hair with a double ponytail and had blue bright eyes. She also had silver armor with yellow designs on it, wore a yellow cape, and carried a Silver Spear with gold patterns on the tip.

However, the characteristics that made these knights superior to other knights were the powers they had. Haruhi Eliza's power to dominate the light, Charlotte's ivy-like electric ropes by combining the element earth and lightning, Fechin's ability to create fog and dominate the ice, Leo's ability to master the element of fire and use magma, and Hayase's ability to take fire to a new level and use blue flame.

They were all much more special than the others and in addition to these five knights being the most powerful Knights in the kingdom, they had provided countless help in many missions since their young ages.

But one day something happened that even they couldn't stop.

It was a normal day for Faye's Knights, Charlotte was supervising the men on duty, Fechin was doing a rations check, Eliza was inspecting the duties they would receive next, and finally, Leo and Hayase were chatting in the hallway.

They were talking about the things they wanted to do,

Hayase sighed and said,

"The last mission we went to was really difficult. I don't know what I would have done if Miss Eliza hadn't come to help me."

Leo laughed and said,

"It was hard indeed, but we've been given more chances to prove ourselves! And at least we've been able to help a lot of people!"

"Yeah, You are right. Actually, we did a pretty good job there! And you were pretty cool!" Hayase replied as her morale got better.

Then Leo said with a shy voice,

"Is that so? Thanks. Actually, I've been trying to act like my idol all along."

"So the move you tried there was to imitate Sigfried's battle tactics? You were quite successful back there."

"I may have achieved them, but I still have a long way to go. I have to work harder and be like him one day. This is my biggest dream."

And while they were talking, Charlotte that was passing through there at the time, walked past them and said,

"The only thing you look like Sigfried is your funny hair, Leo."

This made Leo pretty much annoyed, so he said,

"You are too rude, Charlotte."

"I don't want to interrupt your conversation, but we have much more important things to talk about. So we need to find Eliza as soon as possible." Charlotte replied.

Then the door at the end of the corridor opened, And Fechin showed up.

He looked at them and said,

"Eliza is here. She finished her job and she says she has important things to say."

Charlotte sighed and said,

"Just as I expected."

After that, they all gathered up in the main hall of the castle and Eliza was waiting for them in the very middle of the room, with her arms crossed. Then when they finally approached her, they started talking again,

"As you know, the mission we are going to go on from now on is much more important and more dangerous than the previous one. So the people who will stay and leave were planned before the mission." Eliza said.

Then Charlotte asked,

"And who are these people you're talking about?"

"Ikazuchi and Kinue will be the ones who should stay in the castle. You and Leo will come with me to the mission. That way, while we bring enough power to the mission, we will protect the castle with the same amount of power."

Leo said with a nervous expression,

"Mrs. Eliza, what if they aim for the castle? If we act like this, we'll be easy targets."

Then Eliza said in a serious statement, 

"I'm sorry, but I've already made up my mind. And King Leova personally asked me to do something like this. If you have any problems, the reinforcements will be here. And the mission begins after dawn tomorrow. So be prepared."

While they were talking one of the authorized people in the castle approached Eliza and said,

"Mrs. Eliza, Lamram wants to talk to you."

Lamram was waiting at the very end of the hall and waved at her with a smile. 

She then nodded and said,

"Okay, I will deal with that. Thank you for the information."

She then turned to others and said,

"I'll give you other details about the plan later. For now, make sure you rest enough and make the necessary preparations."

She then left there and approached Lamram.

And when she finally approached him and they started talking, Lamram smiled and said,

"Thank you for talking to me even at such a busy time."

"No, it is no problem. You've been a great help to us in our previous missions. You deserve all the respect for your help. And after all, we're both from the creature hunter society." Eliza replied with a smile.

Then Lamram's expression changed into a serious one and said,

"I hope we don't end up in a situation as dangerous as before in the future missions."

Her expression changed like him, and she said,

"I agree. But unfortunately, there's nothing we can do. If the creatures continue to move like this-"

While she was talking, Lamram's expression turned into a fearful one. He then started to look out of the door and turned Eliza again. And in those few seconds, he used his water power and pushed Eliza aside, while shouting,

"Mrs. Eliza! Move!"

And at that very moment, something fell from the gate and walls of the castle at the speed of lightning, and they shattered the entrance. Now everywhere was covered in rubble and dust.

And as Eliza slowly tried to get up, the other Knights came there and shouted,

"Mrs. Eliza!"

"Are you there? Eliza!"

"Mrs. Eliza! Are you alright?"

Eliza's ears were still ringing and she could barely see from the dust. But as the seconds passed, the dust lifted, and finally, those four appeared.

The grin that she saw, was the same wide grin that everybody feared.
