Chapter 3:

Chapter 3

The Flower That Made Me Remember You

Alice answered curiously, “What is the story you’re talking about that has a name that would fit me?” He looked at her in confusion as she didn’t know the story but answered her curiosity, “It’s about a curious girl who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantastic world.” Alice replied, “Wow, the name you picked for me is good. What is your name?” Ray answered back, “My name is Ray, but are you sure you want me to name you instead of yourself?” Alice said, smiling, “Yeah, you pick it and the name is something magical.”

That was how she met the man with one red eye. After recalling this, she got up from where she had been laying. Noticing a few red flowers brought back more memories of someone that she knew that was red. Days before Alice met Ray, someone was lying on a bed in another white room. There were trays filled with tools and medicine used by the doctor and scientist.

She saw their fair skin and long pink hair with the white clothes Alice was wearing. Breathing heavily, clearly in pain, Alice looked closely and saw something odd growing. Flower consuming them, “You don’t have to worry.” Alice mumbled. Their eyes open seeing a girl looking down at them. “I hope we can be close.” Alice said as the girl heard this gentle offer after so much loneliness, they couldn’t refuse.

They knew someone else was present, but they had never seen them before. Aki replied, “Okay, that would be nice. My name is Aki.” That was how she met the man with flower marks on the right side of his face and body. That was the start of everything, the first loop before her death. Alice's memories of Ray and Aki were hazy, and time seemed nonexistent.

The weather was always warm, unchanging from sunny to rainy or snowy. When Alice first opened her eyes, she didn’t understand, or she knew nothing, empty; a blank slate with no emotion, wanting nothing, no goal, like the color white. Alice's consciousness was always there, growing like her body. She was their successful test subject. To test its transferability, they locate two cursed people.
