Chapter 11:

Chapter 11

The Flower That Made Me Remember You

Both Ray and Aki can hear Alice from anywhere and teleport to her side when they aren't physically together, which was from Alice's blood that gave them power. One day Alice, doing what she always does by the pond, meets a girl wearing a one-piece similar to her own, but a sweater. The girl had purple-silver hair tied into a braid and cream-colored eyes. Alice sensed something within her. Alice had seen Charlotte singing, bringing people to life, and later witnessed her voice bring deaths as well. When Charlotte uses her voice to kill, Charlotte clasps herself, eyes closed.

A clear sign this is not what she wanted to do. It pained her, seeing her victims in pain.
Making it to the room where Alice would be, Charlotte said, “My name is Charlotte, and I’d like a wish.” Making it to the room where Alice would be, Charlotte said, “My name is Charlotte, and I’d like a wish.” Alice walked closer and hugged her from behind.

Alice then murmured, “I’ve been watching to see who would come here. I like you, how you want to help everyone, but there’s something else you’re trying to reach.” Alice's hand moved to Charlotte’s face to look at her eyes. This was one wish out of two wishes Alice wanted, asking to know the truth from Charlotte's mouth. Charlotte forcefully pushes Alice away. Charlotte said, "You knew all this, yet did nothing?”

Charlotte claimed, “You don't care what we went through? Didn't you guys go through the same thing?” Ray scoffed, “You think we’re like you?” Confused and in pain from what they were saying, Charlotte fled. Her first thought of Alice was that she was a little “off.” Why were Ray and Aki so obsessed with Alice?

Did they believe they could find what was missing in themselves through her? Ray and Aki know that Charlotte, like Alice, was born for testing, but Charlotte was entirely human. Someone had always been with her, though she couldn't see them, only hearing them. Charlotte loved music, as she always sang, even when she was little, which was why her power was that. This entity knew where its body was, and its consciousness lived within her.
