The Conspiracy

In the Squad 4 headquarters, all members were forming a line the exact same way the Squad 20 did earlier. The squad's Nauarchus (Latin for Captain), who had Loulou colored hair and ponytail, a Japanese laurel-colored eyes paired with gray-colored pupils, feijoa-colored polo shirt matched with clack-colored untied ribbon hanging under his collar and a pair of suspenders, a yellow metal-colored ripped jeans, pitch black colored coat hanged on his shoulders, and a pair of colored black boots, was Alastor Hadden.

He was standing in front of his soldiers as he complained while his Legatus (Latin for Lieutenant), who had a Munsell yellow colored curly hair, a dark orange colored iris and pupils accompanied with a diagonal line makeup under each eyes, a black pointy demon tail on his back, wore a Japanese Carmine colored beanie that concealed his vibrant hair, wore a white and dark red colored hoodie, a midnight blue colored pants, and a knee-high rubber shoes the same color as his hair, Div-e Sepid Ortiz, was standing right beside him while observing a GPS tracking device,

"Hurry up, hurry up! Legatus, where the hell is Philistine?! He was about to start his first day right now, and yet he’s an hour and a half late?"

Div-e replied with confidence, "Don’t worry, Nauarchus. He is currently running towards here from a 100-meter distance."

Hikaru arrived as he sweat and continuously panted to catch his breath. He had his right hand positioned that his index and pinkie finger were the only ones raised while the other fingers were tucked in and placed his right hand on his left chest as a salute while he was still panting, "I apologize for my tardiness during at a time like this, Nauarchus and Legatus."

Alastor kicked Hikaru by the back all of a sudden as he loudly complained, "You should be! If you have time to talk, why don’t you use that time to go to your line already?!"

"Yes, sir!", Hikaru ran towards the line of his fellow squad members while rubbing his back in pain. A sudden earthquake was felt by everyone and was followed by a faint explosion from afar. Hikaru stopped running as he focused his attention on the direction of the smoke and said,

"What was that just now? It was faint, but I’m sure the explosion came from the direction of Diaboli Latebris (Latin for Devil’s Lair).

Diaboli Latebris was the innermost territory located in Pandemonium where a huge wall surrounded the whole area and separate it from the whole city. It was a place where all the Noble and Royal families' residences were located, together with the Kings' castle, Immunditia Palatio (Latin for Impurity Palace), and the only method for someone to get in was through the four gates, one for each direction.

In front of the Diaboli Latebris South Gate, Fuyu was slowly walking as he was sneaking behind the houses.

"It looks like they’re not yet here, but I can’t let my guard down—", Fuyu thought to himself as he vigilantly observed his surroundings, but he suddenly let out a scream after being hit by a white orb from behind him and said as he grunted, "I shouldn’t… have thought… of that… curses…" He coughed blood as somebody approached him from behind. It was actually a male member of the Gotts' Ausblenden Squad (German for Hide), who was wearing a mask, said to his other two comrades who were both female and wore a mask,

"Oh, look. It looks like a rat was caught in our trap. It was a good thing that she stationed some of the members here to sniff out smartasses who found out about our real motive."

Fuyu asked as he put up a strong front, despite he continued to grunt in pain, "What are you guys going to do with the Infernum Summa? Do you realize that if Gehenna falls, the balance between the light and dark would fall apart and it could lead to the Living World's inevitable destruction?"

The second Ausblenden Squad member replied, "Of course we knew that. We’re not stupid, you know. Let’s just say we’ve found a way to keep the living world alive even without you, 'the rotten ones'.”

Fuyu suddenly teleported and disappeared from his spot. All of the Ausblenden squad members looked around their surroundings vigilantly as the first member mumbled to himself,

"That brat can still move, huh?"

From the corner of their eyes, they all saw a glowing red from above them. They all looked up to see what it was and saw Fuyu, who was in midair, had both of his hands in a gun position and two giant flame-ish orbs came out from the tip of his index fingers.

"Duplex Ignis Spaera Iaculat (Latin for Double Flame Ball Shot)!", Fuyu thought as he fired them towards his enemies then a giant explosion was only seen from the outskirts of Pandemonium.

Squad 4 was running in an empty surrounding where its Nauarchus and Legatus in front, leading all the squad members who were lined up into eight columns and six rows. Hikaru was also running with the crowd.

A few minutes earlier back at the Squad 4's headquarters, Hikaru was pleading in front of his superiors,

"Nauarchus! May I leave and go to the place where the source of the explosion was located?"

"I refuse! We’ve been ordered to head straight to India District. But all thanks to you, we didn’t make it in time!", Alastor refused in an angry manner.

Div-e Sepid approached closer to whisper towards Alastor's right ear, "It’s not actually his fault, Nauarchus."

"SHUT UP!", Alastor yelled.

"Please, I beg of you. After the faint explosion earlier, I sensed that it had a bit of Fuyu Millennium’s Impuritas (Latin for Impurity) that was mixed with it. I bet he found the root of all the commotions the Gotts have caused for the past few hours, and I would like to assist him as much as possible", Hikaru continued to plead as he bowed down his head.

Alastor grumbled as he replied, "That kid again, huh? Fine. Legatus, tell the others that we are changing our destination. I’m taking full responsibility for this one. You better do this right, or you will be in a whole lot of hell if you screw this up. Don’t make me regret that I changed my mind for you."

In the present, Hikaru’s iSkull suddenly rang. He took his phone out from his back pocket and read the message as he continued to run.

"Wha—?! Don’t tell me…!", Hikaru gasped and turned pale.

Lucilia, who was running running with her squad mates, took her iSkull out from her pocket when it suddenly rang, and she read the message that she received.

"You’ve got to be kidding me!", Lucilia thought to herself in cold sweat.

Both of Fuyu's friends simultaneously thought to themselves, "Their goal all along was to take Infernum Summa out of Gehenna!" Both declared to themselves as Lucilia grew wings and flew swiftly as smoke began to form on her trail while Hikaru jumped out from his line and used his Obnixe Amoveo (Latin for Instant Shift) to teleport, "Hang in there for a bit longer. We’re coming for you, Fuyu!"

Back at the Diaboli Latebris, Fuyu had his back lying against on a wall as he breathed heavily to catch his breath while he was all dirty and full of scratches all over his body.

"I still… have to… go inside and…", Fuyu mumbled weakly to himself as he knelt down on the ground where 20 Gotts were all lying unconscious and full of injuries from all over their bodies.

All of a sudden, a voice called over to Fuyu. As Fuyu wondered, he looked around to find the source of the voice and saw a familiar face that was heading towards his way.

"FUYU!", the voice screamed as the one who called landed from the sky in front of Fuyu. It was none other than Lucilia, worriedly tend to him, "Are you alright, Fuyu?"

"Lucilia, how did you--?", Fuyu, who was in shock, tried to ask but he was interrupted when someone suddenly appeared right in front of them. It was Hikaru, who used Obnixe Amoveo to get to his current location.

"It looks like I missed the party. What’s wrong with you, snowflake? Can’t handle a colony of ants all by yourself? If I was in your place, I won’t even break a sweat in beating these guys to a pulp", Hikaru smirked as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

Fuyu complained with a vein throb on his forehead as Lucilia placed a few bandages on his face, "If you’re here to annoy me, just get out of here."

"They’re here for it, right? The Infernum Summa (Latin for Hell Core)", Hikaru asked in a serious way and placed down both of his arms to his sides.

"Yeah. How did you find out?", Fuyu replied then asked.

Lucilia elaborately explained, "When one squad from the Auxilium Platoon (Latin for Support) gathered info from the defeated group in Brazil District, they found out that all of the ten groups were just bait to lure us out of Pandemonium and slowly divide our forces one by one."

"After reading the texted info, we realized that their goal was to take Infernum Summa out of Gehenna since they already attempted before but failed. Your rampage earlier helped me figure it out. Don’t worry, reinforcements would be here soooo—!", Hikaru added but was cut short when he suddenly fell down on a hole from the ground that was right beneath his feet.

Lucilia wondered as she saw the hole and peeked through it, "How come our secret trapdoor just opened? Was it broken?"

Fuyu said in a shaky voice as he was sweating buckets, "If dad’s the one who found and opened this, I’m roasted."

There were rusts on the trapdoor so… It was broken… definitely…

"To think that the son of Satan would be the first one to find out about our plan and managed to defeat 20 of my subordinates. As expected of one of the Seven Princes of Hell", a voice was suddenly heard talking from above them.

As Lucilia and Fuyu looked up in surprise, they saw a female Gott hovering in midair using her huge white feathered wings.

Lucilia explained in surprise, "You are…! Oberbefehlshaber Athena Herrmann, the greatest tactician of all in Elysium."

"Wow, to think that I’m also famous here. Thanks for the wonderful compliment, daughter of the Traitor", Athena, who had cyan colored braid hair and pupils, eyes as yellow as tulips swaying with the wind, a braided hair as cyan as a shallow water over a sandy beach, wore a yellow colored turtleneck sweater, a chocolate colored shorts, a white thigh-high socks that covered her silky legs, and a pair of black boots, said while Lucilia looked surprised, but looked down on in shame and finished what she said, "I would like to talk with you kids more, but I still have a job to finish." She then disappeared into feathers.

Fuyu asked as he stood up with Lucilia and looked around their surroundings, "So fast! Where did that old woman go?"

All of a sudden, white spikes grew out from the ground simultaneously and Fuyu’s right foot was pierced through.

Fuyu jumped away from the spikes to dodge and grunted, "Ow!" Lucilia flew using her huge, black feathered wings and carried him up in the air by holding both of his wrists. A white slash suddenly flew towards then and hit Lucilia’s back, which caused her and Natsu to fall fast and hard towards a building, and it was destroyed to the ground due to the heavy impact. Fuyu then was shown to have covered his head using both of his hands while lying down on the debris. He slowly stood up and faced Lucilia, who was a few distance behind him, and he asked,

"That sure was fast. Are you alright, Lucilia?"

Fuyu turned pale and gasped as he saw Lucilia was lying her chest on the debris with her back had a very deep cut and her wings were almost cut entirely in half.

Fuyu hastily ran to Lucilia as Arawn's voice said, "Aaaaahhaaahh… I guess that was too shallow. I was meant to cut the both of you in half. That girl sure has quick reflexes." Fuyu looked up and saw Arawn hovering in the sky using his huge white feathered wings and he continued, "To be able to pull off in strengthening her Nigrum Sanguinem (Latin for Black Blood) and coat her whole torso for a couple of milliseconds to avoid a fatal blow on herself." His intimidating eyes were shown, "As well as to protect the one she was holding."

"Why did you do that, Lucilia?! What if your wound would never heal? Your wings would lose its ability to fly forever", Fuyu continuously panted as he became more and more flustered.

Lucilia held Fuyu's trembling left hand as she smiled and said in a gentle voice, "Please, Fuyu… please don’t cry… I don’t want to see you in pain again. I just want… to at least assist you… so I could be a bit… of help to you this time…"

"Don’t force yourself. I’m gonna fire a signal so the a squad from the Auxilium Platoon (Latin for Support) could tend with your wounds immediately", Fuyu said as he disappeared with Lucilia and teleported away.
