Teen vs. Adult

Fuyu appeared somewhere on the roof as he held and carried Lucilia by his back, jumped up in the air and swiftly disappeared again. He then reappeared somewhere on the ground and disappeared once more. A spot that was someplace far away from Diaboli Latebris (Latin for Devil's Lair), Fuyu reappeared while he was sweating and breathing heavily. He gently put down Lucilia with her chest lying to the ground to prevent her wings to be damaged and said,

"Stay here and wait for help." He then fired off one Ignis Spaera Iaculat (Latin for Flame Ball Shot) using his right index finger and ignited as a red cross in the sky like a firework.

He took two black small rods from his pocket and simultaneously threw them and landed on the ground from above Lucilia’s head and below her feet, and a barrier suddenly rose around her. Fuyu swiftly ran away from Lucilia and jumped from one roof to another. When he was in midair, a white slash quickly came towards him, but he immediately fired an Ignis Spaera Iaculat to his right then propelled himself to the left and crashed towards a building. Arawn, who was holding a scythe while hovering in the air, mumbled to himself as he observed Fuyu from above,

"I guess my Licht Geschwindigkeit Schragstrich (German for Light Speed Slash) won’t work the same twice anymore. This name sure is long…"

Fuyu leaned his right hand on the giant debris to support himself as he weakly stood up while catching his breath and asked as he faced Arawn from below,

"Why do you want… to annihilate us… so badly? Why can’t we just… mind our own businesses… like the usual?"

"Here’s a little tip about life, kid. Adults are more selfish than you think, whether you are a Gott or not. You’ll probably understand it someday", Arawn replied as he slowly descended, and landed on the ground a few meters away from Fuyu.

Fuyu clenched his fists as he stood up by himself while slouching, "Don’t you dare f*cking change the subject."

"I’m not obliged to babysit a kid like you." Arawn raised his scythe above his head and mumbled to himself, "Licht Geschwindigkeit Schragstrich." He then swung his scythe in front of him and a white slash approached Fuyu at a high speed.

Fuyu, who was completely weakened, had no way of dodging it so he had no choice but to wait for the inevitable. A clash was suddenly heard as the white slash was unknowingly returned by someone, and it was heading towards Arawn. Arawn then spread his wings and suddenly disappeared from sight.

"That’s pretty pathetic of you, Fuyu", Hikaru's smirk was only shown followed by his star shaped birthmark was shown, which was located at the right side of his neck and said, "I only disappeared for a couple of minutes and you’re already this beat up." Hikaru was shown standing in front of Fuyu as he placed a barrier in front of the two of them. Fuyu stared at him with his eyes widen and said,

"Hikaru." He suddenly looked like he lost motivation and added, "You’re late."

"I’d love to make a comeback, But I doubt that this dude over here would wait for us to finish", Hikaru replied as he stared at Arawn who was now standing in front of him.

"He’s not the only one you’ll be dealing with", Athena's voice echoed through the air as she said it in confidence.

"The diva has arrived", Arawn sighed in disappointment.

Fuyu eye rolled as he complained, "Not her again. I even thought she ran away from us."

Athena suddenly appeared a few meters behind from Fuyu and Hikaru as she replied, "I’m an Oberbefehlshaber (German for Commander-in-Chief), brat. Why should I turn tail in shame from a small goblin like you?" She prepared her right hand to flick a pebble rock that she was holding and added, "And for the record, I’m not old." She then flicked the pebble in front of her and fired towards Fuyu like a huge white laser.

"Get down!", Hikaru yelled as he dove towards Fuyu and the two of them barely dodged the attack, and the attack instead hit the debris and caused an explosion.

Arawn looked down as he hovered in midair while a vein throb appeared from the side of his forehead and yelled, "Watch where you’re aiming, Oberbefehlshaber Athena!"

Athena tossed another pebble in midair as she slowly walked forward and mumbled to herself, "Tch! I missed."

"Why are you aiming for me as well?!", Arawn complained as he scratched his head irritably, "We’re dragging this fight for too long. I guess I have to go as well." He flew down from above swiftly and diagonally towards Athena's direction.

Two hours had passed since the huge assault from the Gotts, in a room from inside the Immunditia Palatio (Latin for Impurity Palace), there was a mixture of red, orange, yellow, and black colored orb that was sitting on a red pillow on top of a pillar standing in the middle of the room. This was the infamous Infernum Summa (Latin for Hell Core) that the Gotts were currently aimed to get this time's invasion. A silhouette of someone suddenly approached the mysterious orb.

On top of a building, Fuyu was standing and looked very messy and injured as he breathed heavily more while slouching. Arawn and Athena were flying in midair as they stared down on their weakened opponent. He sighed and said to Fuyu,

"It’s an insult to say this after all the struggles you’ve been through but give up already. You’re already at your limit both physically and mentally. Your Impuritas (Latin for Impurity) had also given up on you." He focused his attention to Hikaru for a brief moment, who was lying on his chest on the ground full of injuries from all over his body, and focused back to Fuyu, "And your friend is already half dead."

"For a Gott of Terror and Revenge, you were pretty kind to be one. Is it because you’re a Gott?", Fuyu put up a strong front and replied then thought to himself, "I’ve used all of my Obnixe Amoveo (Latin for Instant Shift). My Impuritas have also reached their limits. What should I do to escape from this predicament?"

Arawn answered in low spirits, "I may be a Gott of Terror and Revenge, but it doesn’t change the fact that seeing a kid suffering is a bad taste in my mouth."

"Shut your trap, Arawn Faust. I don’t want to hear your usual long and cheesy speeches right now or ever, actually. Kid, I’ll tell you what. I will wait for you after a few seconds in order for you to prepare your greatest technique to 'take us out'. I just want to end this already", Athena interrupted their conversation as she complained and proposed an offer.

Fuyu said as he clenched his fist and smirked, "I don’t need you to tell me that." His eyes were shown to look so fierce and added, "That’s what I was planning from the start." Fuyu quickly raised his right hand on top of his head and a giant snowflake shaped blue fire appeared from above his palm out of nothing. He then jumped towards Athena and Arawn with the snowflake and thought to himself, "Corrupta Est Sanguis: Bruma (Latin for Blood of the Corrupt Being: Winter Solstice)!" He then aimed his hand and threw the huge snowflake shaped blue fire towards his opponents. Arawn suddenly appeared beside Fuyu and caught his hand halfway while Athena also held his head without breaking a sweat as she wickedly smiled,

"It looks like you failed."

Arawn then completely crushed Fuyu’s right wrist. Fuyu's blue fire technique disappeared into thin air as the teenage boy screamed in excruciating pain but stopped halfway when a sudden stab was heard, and he coughed a lot of blood. Fuyu saw that another Athena appeared out of nowhere from behind and stabbed him through with her sharp spear. She then mumbled to herself,

"Heilig Licht Speer (German for Holy Light Spear) and…" The other Athena who was holding Fuyu's head suddenly turned into white particles, and all went to Athena who was behind him, and she added, "…Licht Klon (German for Light Clone). Athena pulled out her spear without a slight hesitation in a straight face and Arawn let go of Fuyu's now crushed wrist. It caused Fuyu's weak body to fall hard to the ground, lying with his chest, which had a huge hole, on the ground.

Fuyu coughed blood as he weakly asked with a pale expression, "Ho—" He didn't manage to finish asking his question as he coughed more blood.

Athena elaborately explained as she reminisced her past memories from earlier, "I guess you were just wondering how I did it, right? Right? I know that you can't answer properly right now so I will assume that you do, based on your reaction. Ever since I left you with that girl earlier and set a trap that white spikes would ascend from the ground to distract you from detecting my presence, I immediately went to the palace and obtained the Infernum Summa (Latin for Hell Core) without breaking a sweat. It looks like your kings were too busy dealing with our baits all around your country. Since you got pierced with my Heilig Licht Speer earlier, which was filled with my Reinheit (German for Purity) that is an extreme poison to you rotten Daemons, you would die after a couple of seconds so, do you have any last words? I could relay them for you to your loved ones and friends before I kill them later as well."

Fuyu fell silent and looked like he was not even breathing from afar.

Arawn asked as he gasped and looked from the other direction with a pale expression, "Oberbefehlshaber Athena (German for Commander-in-Chief), what is happening to that other kid?"

"Huh?! What are you—?", Athena angrily asked as she faced the other direction and her expression completely turned into shock.

It was shown that Hikaru’s birthmark that was located on the right side of his neck had begun to manifest black reins growing out from it as his unconscious body began to emit a very huge and dark aura.

"Sh*t! I forgot that kid was also of the Regius (Latin for Royalty). Arawn! Huh?!", Athena angrily complained and gasped suddenly as she saw Fuyu slowly crawled towards Hikaru with black veins also started to appear on his entire right hand towards the wrist as he emitted a really huge and dark aura.

Fuyu grunted as he crawled and mumbled to himself, “Damn… it… We… can’t… afford to have… two Corruptios (Latin for Corruptions) at the same time…” He thought to himself as he held two black small rods with his left hand, “I always brought two pairs of Rescindentes Virga (Latin for Nullifying Rods) with me in case my Impuritas go out of control so I could nullify it without causing any trouble. I already used the first pair to Lucilia from earlier, so she won’t have a Corruptio and have a blind rampage there. I can still manage to stay conscious so…”

Fuyu slowly rose with the help of his right elbow and threw the rods at the ground from above the head and below the feet of Hikaru, and a yellow barrier appeared around him. Hikaru’s aura, together with the black veins, disappeared altogether. Fuyu’s elbow lost its strength and his head lied down to the ground again.
