Erased from History (Prologue)

“Hey…….Nakamura-san, are you sure this is a good idea”
“Hahahaha!! At last, we have attained the 100th piece of our discovery. My dream shall finally come true”
“My men, Set sail back to Japan”

Nakamura Homuro, 40 years old
Occupation: Archeologist
If you are wondering what his discoveries are, it is Death. In the year 1850, Chi No Fuchi Village/血の淵, Nakamura has finally returned with crates full of ashes, coffins, artifacts, rotted corpses and other items that is deemed to be not of this world that was found  and collected throughout the globe.

“Hmmmmmm” we’ll take these 4 coffins Nakamura-san,
Said the purchaser from the black market with a wild grin on his face
“Thank You for doing business with us as always”

Said Nakamura who sounded pleased with his successful business, quickly selling out his deceased artifacts.
3 years later, in 1853, Nakamura finally achieved his life long dream, opening a local museum, he ordered his staff to allocate every item to its rightful place for display.

“Nakamura-san here are the “cursed” items you ordered, but…………”
“Is something the matter?”

Asked Nakamura tone of his employees with a questionable looking face.

“No, it’s nothing, so where does this go”

The staff was in fear due to the object he's holding, a small diamond glass which was claimed to contain a trapped demon Evaroth who was believed to be summoned through witchcraft back during the “Battle of Hastings” but was sealed by a wizard in the 12th century. The object was discovered in a trap filled labyrinth beneath the “Pevensey Castle” that was used to be occupied by the Normans in 1066.

“Hey, careful with that glass object or else you will face the consequence muahahahahaha “

Nakamura, jokingly warned his staff with a ridiculous laugh.
After a full day organizing his museum, everyone went out to the bar for a drink to celebrate. Leaving behind 2 security guard (Government hired Samurai) to look after the museum in case of incoming problems.
Little did they know, by 3am the glass that has been keeping the demon encased left a crack……..
The demon took advantage of the crack (that weakened due to age) and spread his eerie aura throughout the museum and makes contact with every “Deathly” items all over the museum in which it strengthens the curse and spirits (of the dead) to the point of losing control.
Yoshi & Ken the 2 guards notice footsteps thinking it someone entered the museum in an attempt to try committing burglary. So they cautiously started searching with their swords ready. But after scanning each corner of the museum, no one was found.

“Ken, what are you doing in the corner over there standing still?”

Yoshi had noticed that Ken was behaving strangely. Ken did not respond to his question no matter how many times it was repeated directly to his ears.
As Yoshi got fed up, he forcefully turned ken around towards his face and discovered the terror in Kens’ eyes. It was pitch black as if his pupils got bigger it overshadows the white area of his eyes.
Yoshi left his guard down and started going stiff and unable to move his entire body, it’s as if he’s being controlled. Evaroth, the demon suddenly appeared behind Yoshi’s back and whispered directly into his ears.

“Thank you, Let the Almighty Jurgahr save you”

In the legends, Jurgahr was claimed to be the conqueror of the Abyss who granted those who got expelled from heavens due to heinous acts against god to be given a second opportunity as one of the guardians the Abyss. With the use of witchcraft, Cultist are able to communicate to the abyss and summon one of the guardians in exchange of 1000 lives to grant a wish of the spreading of the “Black Death”. The lives of soldiers during the historical battle were used to feed Jurgahr and the answer to the summoning was successful.
Evaroth, which is believed to be controller of lingering souls, the merciless sadist, the worst of them all was summoned under the order of Jurgahr.
Yoshi also got possessed and is in the same state as Ken. And thus, Evaroth continued awaken the dead as violent vengeful spirits.
As Nakamura and his men were enjoying their late night sake, they noticed Yoshi and ken standing in the shadows staring at them, with eyes opened wide without blinking. However, they disappeared like smoke, which startled everyone with fear. Hiyoshi, one of Nakamura’s men said….

“HAHAHAHA, you guys we’re just seeing things that alcohol must’ve gone through our heads”

Hiyoshi suddenly started feeling sick and went to the bathroom. However, as he comes near the bathroom, there was a Porcelain Doll with a Victorian style clothing sitting on the opposite side of the bathroom.

“HUH, what is this?”

Hiyoshi looking at the doll in confusion, after a few minutes he notices something about the doll. It was the same one that was in Nakamura’s museum.
Before Hiyoshi started rushing to inform Nakamura, the doll started singing, in a creepy, eerie tone with the voice of a child in English. Singing a lullaby which was normally was used to put kids to sleep. But Hiyoshi suddenly started feeling sluggish and fell down to the floor, unable to speak nor move his body as if he was paralyzed, slowly his field of vision faded to black…..The Lullaby has placed Hiyoshi in a terrifying state of DEATH! The doll then walks away with laughter as if she was satisfied to what she did.
Nakamura started getting worried since hiyoshi is taking quite a while at the bathroom.

“Hey guys, I’m going to check on hiyoshi, continue”
“OK BOSS”

As Nakamura approached the bathroom he notices Hiyoshi lying face down as if he passed out.

“Oi, Hiyoshi wake up! What happen?”
Nakamura panicked and shook up hiyoshi to wake up. However, no signs of movement was corresponded to Nakamura’s attempt to wake him up.
Then he decided to check Hiyoshi’s pulse by placing two fingers towards his neck.
No beating was detected. It was then Nakamura realized that Hiyoshi is long gone.
He then desperately tried to wake Hiyoshi via CPR and screamed for help, little did he know. No one responded. The entire Bar became quiet all of a sudden, as the silence piques his curiosity, he decided to check on the situation and gently puts hiyoshi down laying him to rest.
He checks on the bars employees, none is anywhere to be seen, then checks back on his men. To his surprise everyone disappeared. Nakamura started getting paranoid, a white figure with black hair slid behind him in like the sound of a passing wind.
He turns his face behind, no one was there. Then decides to inspect where the noise of the wind came from. As he walks through the corridor of the bar, he then notice two men standing staring at him with eyes filled with black. It was Yoshi & Ken was supposed to guard his museum.
As he start questioning the two men despite looking unnatural, he did not even get a single respond. But then, the men walked towards him taking out their swords and dashed at Nakamura!
Nakamura then fled the bar. As he is nearing exit, a woman in white clothing stood at the exit staring at him with a terrifying expression, an abnormal smile and eyes with a dot size pupil, which could instill extreme fear to a person’s mind.

“I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE, I DON’T WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

These were words that was on his mind as he tries to find an alternate exit throughout the premise. He then dashes out of the window, but unfortunately injured his left ankle as he lands on the ground from the 2 floor building.

“IS ANYONE THERE, ANYBODY!!?”
“HELP!
“ANYONE”

He screams and screams but no response.
Then it started raining, thunder and lightning roaring the skies
Due to his injured foot, he lost his stamina and laid down for a bit, being out of breath.

“Thank you”

He then startled with the word of appreciation coming out of nowhere, he looked left, right, front and back there was nothing there.
But after blinking just once, a demonic figure suddenly appeared in front of him smiling into Nakamura’s face.
“Thank you” is when the demonic repeatedly muttered on Nakamura’s face smiling with blood dripping down his sharp teeth. Nakamura then blacked out from fear.
A loud scream was heard and he immediately woke up. He looks around him and what he sees, was a spectacle that transcends a NIGHTMARE!
PEOPLE PANICKING, SCREAMING, CHASED, SLAUGHTERED, BURNED ALIVE, CURSED, DECAPITATED, TORTURED, SLICED, GOUGED, VOMITING, CHOKED, STABBED, REMODELED, RIPPED APART. His men were also involved in this nightmarish view, all done by these familiar looking being that were part of his discoveries.
It’s the Villages Uprising.
IT WAS A SCENE STRAIGHT FROM HELL. A SCENE OF NEVERENDING SUFFERINGS. A SCENE OF THOSE PUNISHED FOR INVOLVING THEMSELVES WITH THE DEAD.
And one final time, the demon Evaroth muttered to his face

“Thank you, Let the Almighty Jurgahr save you”

And nakamura was included in the torture, his body was torn to pieces one by one and seconds before his head goes off, four words are the only thing on his mind.

“What have……….I…….Done……..”

His head then got decapitated and blood splattered everywhere.
The town burned down like hell fire
As riot continues to rave. The shogun then announced to keep all the cursed people in town preventing them from leaving as to not spread the infected and cursed people as they are contagious. Then comes 1856, Chi No Fuchi was on lock down from the public and to never see the outside world ever again.
History of the town will remain unknown.
However, reconstruction of the village began in 1999. Without knowing the dark history behind the village, it is still underway. As people started settling in Chi No Fuchi again, paranormal activities slowly occurs regularly, some sees poltergeist, Victorian style figures, dolls moving on its own, strange sightings and more!

This is a story about high school boy named Hazama Takeshi, a tech otaku who will try to attempt to unravel the mystery behind the village.
