Ice Cream

Its 27th of July, Saturday. Today is the day we all agreed to go to Ichikawa to meet Aoi. Hina called and asked Aoi the other day, she was fine with today too.

I just woke up. Its 08: 00 right now. I’m a little nervous... Actually, A LOT. I don’t even know what I am going there for except to apologize.

Aaaah… no point in thinking about it, I need to get up and get ready. I should call the others too, maybe they are still sleeping. Okay, Sachi first

*Calling Sachi

“Hey, what’s up?”

Oh, that was fast, and its Hina, I think she must have come over at Sachi’s place to watch anime again. Probably stayed up late that’s why she picked up my call so fast

“Hina? You are at Sachi’s right now?”

I hear Sachi’s voice from behind saying to put it on speaker

“Yeah, we were watching anime again, this time hina came over to my place” (Sachi)

“You both are always watching anime together…”

“Yeah, so? You jealous?”

“Haha, well it wasn’t completely watching anime, Hina started cleaning my place when she came here last night”

“IT WAS SUCH A BIG MESS, it was fun cleaning it” (Hina)

“You like cleaning?” (Takahashi)

“Not cleaning, clean places” (Hina)

“I see. I called Sachi to wake her up, but I guess I didn’t need to do that”

“Wait, did you even sleep?”

“Nope, we both were up watching anime”

“You going to be sleepy all day now…”

“Not really, we’ll sleep on our way Ichikawa”

“It’s just 30 to 40 mins there”

“That’s enough for us”

Eiji sounds like he just woke up

“Hina Sent a picture around 6: 40 saying we stayed up all night again”

Hina talks with Eiji on phone a lot, I wonder how close these two are. Though Eiji doesn’t look like that much interest in her. He’s still stuck about Aoi

“Okay, I’ll message them about meeting at the station”

Eiji sounded pretty down. I guess he can’t decide what to do about his feelings. I didn’t say anything about that to him, maybe I should. Calling again would be weird. I should just send a text message

To Sachi: Eiji said to meet at the station on 09: 30. I’m thinking about meeting at the station too, what do you say? Ask Hina too

Meeting straight at the station is the best option because meeting elsewhere and then waiting for everyone to arrive, in this heat. I can’t do that. Though meeting at the station, I will have to wait there too, and it’s crowded there so not the best place for me either. Oh, she replied back

Sachi: I’m fine with meeting at the station but Hina says to meet at the school, she wants to eat ice cream before going to the station, tell me what we should do
Sachi: Also, Hina talked to Aoi, told her about our plan, she says to come around 11. We will reach there around 10: 15 if we leave at 09: 30. We should wait a little before leaving, maybe around 10? What do you say?

Aaaahhh… Hina really has to eat ice cream. Thought it won’t be a bad idea. I kind of want to eat too now; since it’s this hot. Will have to report this to Eiji.

To Sachi: I think that ice cream idea isn’t that bad, will have to talk about this with Eiji. Will also tell him that we have to leave a little late now
To Eiji: Hina says that we should meet at the school, she wants to eat ice cream. I kind of want to too now. It’s really hot today and Sachi said that Aoi says to come around 11. So, 10: 00 instead of 09: 30

Damn her… well I should get up, its 8: 45 right now. Still have a lot of time before I leave from here. It will take around 15 minutes to reach school, will leave at 09: 30. Don’t want to be late. There’s a pretty high chance that Sachi and Hina reach school late. Their excuse will probably be we had to watch the finale of the anime or something.

“Yeah, we didn’t have anything to do at home so left early” (Sachi)

“Just some minutes before, but we have eaten ice cream already.”

“We weren’t going to meet here until 10… and its 9: 52 right now. He’ll be here soon”

“Did something happen, why so late?” (Hina)

“There’s nothing ‘Late’ she said to come after 11” (Hina)

“It’s 10: 25 right now” (Sachi)

“Let’s just grab ice cream and go to the station”

10: 45, we are on the train to Ichikawa now. Hina and Sachi fell asleep as soon as they sat on their seats. Eiji still looks troubled about meeting Aoi, maybe I should talk to him

11: 00, probably will take around 15 to 20 mins to reach there. Sachi and Hina are sleeping. Eiji is lost in his thoughts. And I’m getting more nervous. Today is the first time I’ll talk to her, after that day… aaaahhh, I feel so embarrassed right now, kind of regretting that day, if I had controlled myself. We wouldn’t have to go meet her like this. And… I wouldn’t have gotten closer with Sachi… ughhh, stop thinkinggg. I should think about something else. Maybe look outside.

11: 15, we are here, these two are taking so long to wake up. Surprisingly, Eiji went to sleep too. He couldn’t sleep much last night so this is good. But these two…
