In the year 2124 AD after the 500 dimension, realm and universe war against a Morningstar prince's, the 500 dimensions, realms and universes we're revived. In Japan Academy called Kurogane Academy 17 years old teen boy known as Ren Thabiso Kurogane is a known normal kid or so called normal, he was always lazy, bored and his long hair always messy with a black pitch black cloth etched with silver runes, he is the only kid in his school with a bronze skin and he was treated differently, as he was known as the weakest ranked in school. While others in other countries were likely the same with him, In USA, Leo Sterling kicked a locker shut as his principal announced their flight to the East; in EGYPT, Malik Osman was dragged out of a girls' dormitory to face a private jet, in Japan, Kaito Yamamoto is busy with his lessons, in China, Zian Wei is on his own at the roof top of his Academy, in Brazil, Mateo Silva is playing soccer with his friends, in Russia, Dimitri Volkov is in the geography class bored, in India, Arjun Khan is in math class and studying, in South Korea, Jae-Hwa Park is watching esports on his phone in class, and in UK, Liam O'Connor is training in the Academy gym.

Their fate changes as their announcers speak.

Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement to make, the Academy is going to the east to test each and everyone of your rank, and if your rank is higher than anyone in the Academy, you will be recruited to join Aegis of the Dawn. So I expect you all to make the Academy proud."

The announcement ends and everyone is pumped and excited, except Ren who wanted to just sleep. The days passed and the day of the elections began, each Academy was flown to the East. The Academies meet in a massive Hall, the Kurogane Public High (Japan), Kyoto Blade Institute (Japan), Liberty Apex Academy (USA), Dragon-Gate Polytechnic (China), Cairo Oasis Academy (Egypt), Favela Pulse School (Brazil), Siberian Iron Works (Russia), Himalayan Spirit Peak (India), Seoul Platinum High (Korea), and East-End Gravity Academy (UK). Every student there was either wearing school uniforms or their classic clothes and as Ren walks through the crowd to his seat, students and teachers kept on staring at him and whispered loudly for him to hear, but he didn't care. Leo was busy flexing for a camera, Malik was shamelessly eyeing the recruiters, and Liam was already picking a fight with a vending machine.

After a while he reached his seat and sat down and fell asleep. After the moment, the deputy minister of the Aegis of the Dawn, Shu Min, walks to the mic and as he stands straight, students all raised except Ren, who is still fast asleep. The minister didn't say a word and told the students to be seated. The minister speaks in a calm voice.

Shu: "Thank you all for coming, as you all know the Aegis of the Dawn is recruiting new guilds from each Academy around the world. So please when you are called step forward to the rank scaler."

Everyone was called from every Academy and some had B rank while others A rank. Then came for the others.

Shu: "Leo Sterling."

Leo get's up and walks to the rank scaler and it starts to take in his rank and shows it on the screen.

Shu: "Hmm? A-rank, well from your Academy you are the only one with that rank. Now please stand to that side. Now Zian Wei step forward."

Zian quickly walks to the rank scaler with and places his hand on it.

Shu: "So it's another A-rank. You know what to do, may I have Malik Osman and Mateo Silva."

Mateo and Malik got up and rushes to the scaler.

Shu: "Two a rank. Now Dimitri Velkov and Arjun Khan."

The two students walk to the scaler.

Shu: "Impressive you two have the potential to reach S-rank like the others. Now Jae-Hwa Park and Liam O'Connor."

As they walk to the scaler they studied each other and took the scaler test.

Shu: "So it's A-ranks huh? Now lastly Ren Thabiso-Kurogane.... do we have a Ren? And what kind of name is this? It actually sounds familiar."

Ren is still asleep and other students start to laugh and whispering about him. Then after a while someone shakes him awake and he get's up and slowly walks to the scaler, on the way he walks lazily and stumbles. As he reaches the scaler he looks at it confused.

Ren: "Uhh? How does this work?"

Everyone laughs and Shu looks at him annoyed and he sighs.

Shu: "Just place your hand on the scaler orb."

Ren places his right hand on the scaler and at first it detects nothing. Shu looks at the sensors and nothing came up.

Ren: "Are we done now?"

Shu: "Try again, it must be a faulty glitch. Just release all of your power and aura."

Ren sighs and then for the first time he took something serious. He releases all of his blue aura and it spreads all around and some tattoos start to appear from his arms, making strong winds and a storm of aura and it blows everyone back. The sensor starts to beep fast and then Ren returns to his lazy mood again and his aura calmed down while the tattoos start to disappear. Shu looks at the sensors and is shocked to see what is on the tablet screen.

Shu: "I'm... impossible. How could this be? No one has able to reach this."

Everyone looks at Ren and the room starts to get intense as Ren warns.

Shu: "Your rank... it's SSS+ rank."

Everyone gasps as they take in the shocking truth, Ren looks at everyone with the black cloth covering his eyes.

Ren: "Is that really surprising? Ain't it normal?"

Leo: "Normal? That rank has a fewer hunters who have it. And some kid with long hair and a black blind fold has it?"

Liam: "That's not normal dude."

Arjun: "The great sage must be on your side."

Ren scratches the back of his head on his hair and he sighs and looks bored.

Ren: "I wasn't given a choice to be born like this ya know."

Shu: "Alright, everyone who has been selected please stand forward. Leo Sterling, Zian Wei, Malik Osman, Mateo Silva, Dimitri Volkov, Arjun Khan, Jae-Hwa Park, Liam O'Connor and Ren Thabiso-Kurogane you are selected to become the new members of Aegis of the Dawn, you will be going to South Korea to meet the manager, chairman Silas Vane."

Ren (he speaks in a bored sarcastic voice.): "Yay, I'm so glad."

The ceremony ends and everyone went outside while Ren and the others stayed behind. Shu informed them about going to the Incheon International Airport. And Ren falls asleep while standing and Arjun wakes him up and they all went to the airport and Ren fell asleep the whole time. As they arrived Dimitri's bag hits the ground and a loud metal sounds. Malik smiles as if he is in heaven filled with women. He kept his camera on as he took pics of woman, and got slapped many times.
