Chapter 2-THE GATHERING

After being chosen to join the Aegis guild, Ren's expression turned to one of annoyance. While the others were happy to join one of the most powerful guilds, Ren was far from being happy. They got into the guild's luxury limousine. Ren's expression was boredom towards the car, as they entered he slowly looks around and his clothed eyes land on some cookies called SHIBOBO. He grabbed one and sniffed it, after a while he takes the cookie in his mouth and crunches down. He starts to enjoy it as if it's the best thing he's ever tasted. He kept on eating and eating and the others looked at him with nervous smiles.

Arjun: "Is he really gonna eat those cookies?"

Mateo: "Now that would be interesting."

Liam: "Is that even safe?"

Leo: "No, but I'm capturing this."

Leo takes out his phone and start recording Ren, but there was a problem. On the phone, Ren's shadow isn't normal, something or things are in Ren's shadow. The figure's eyes are light red with ghostly devil smiles, the shadows moving like ghosts. Leo saw them and he immediately froze in place, his fear paralysing him. The car stopped and he got his senses back and he looks like he saw a Celestial King. As they look outside and notice they are at the national guild airline, Ren's expression turned lazy. The others got out and dragged Ren out of the car as he wanted more Shibobos. The his gaze lands on Leo.

Ren (he speaks in a bored voice.): "Hey, you coming Leo?"

Leo snaps out of it and looks at Ren and forces a slight smile and chuckles nervously.

Leo: "Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be right there."

Ren: "By the way grab me some shibobos while you're at it, bring the whole box."

With a final push Dimitri pulls Ren our of the care and he lands at the bags. He gets up and looks at Dimitri as he fixes the cloth covering his eyes.

Ren: "That hurts ya know."

Dimitri: "My bad, but how is it you were so heavy? If you eat those cookies for so long your teeth will root, especially the back ones."

Arjun: "I'm just amazed by his four fangs, and I'm pretty worried about his laziness."

Ren (he scratches the back of his hair and yarns.): "The person you should be worried about is the perv over there."

Ren points to the girl's restroom and Malik runs out of the restroom as a female security chases after him. Both Arjun and Dimitri look at the scene and they release a heavy sighs. Ren gets up and stretches his body, as Malik is close to pass them Zian grabs Malik's collar and throws him backwards towards the security guard and she catches him. Malik slowly looks at the security guard with a nervous smile as he holds the camera on his hand tightly and the guard looks at him angry and her aura sends fear at Malik.

Malik (he smiles and speaks in a modest voice.): "Hi ma'am, I hope the weather is to your liking."

Female Guard: "Okay brat, you know what you did so don't act like an idiot."

Malik (he smiles as if he knows something.): "Okay, I'll give you the camera, but it won't be use to you. It will come back to me on it's own and it can't break."

The guard hits his head hard and he crushes on the floor. Ren gets and clears his clothes, he looks at the guard lazy and bored expression.

Ren: "I could help you destroy it with a small fee."

The guard and the other boys look at Ren.

Female Guard: "What do you want?"

Ren: "Just get me a box of shibobos and I'll destroy it without a sweat."

The guard smiles and rushes to get the box filled with those cookies that are chocolate flavoured. She hands them to Ren and he opens it, he opens on bag and crunches on the cookie. Ren grabs the camera and he crushes it with his bare hands. Everyone looks at him with wide eyes and shocked expression, Malik get's up and runs to the crushed camera. Leo get's out of the car and walks to the others. He tells the others they have to get going as they walk to the plain, Ren walks near Malik.

Ren: "If you want your camera back just get me those cookies too, then I'll have three boxes."

Malik (he smiles and hope starts to appear in his eyes.): "Really, you would do that?"

Ren nods and Malik rushes back to the shops, he buys the box and rushes to give Ren the box. Ren takes the box and it vanishes along with the other's he got from the guard and Leo. Then he cracks his left hands fingers and he opens his hand and dark aura starts to manifest on his hand and it forms the shape of the camera and the aura starts to go back in his hand then the camera appears. Ren gives Malik the camera back.

Malik: "Thank you, but how did you do it?"

Ren (he sighs heavily.): "It's a pain to explain so I'll say it once. When I held the camera I was able to copy everything about it, it's data, storage, storage and etc, even if I didn't just destroy it, I could have teleported it in my.... forget it."

Ren walks to the plain while eating more cookies, they arrive in the plain and took their seat. Ren gets cozy and falls asleep as the plain starts to fly. Their flight is smooth and steady, as Ren falls asleep, Arjun looks at him curiously and speaks.

Arjun: "Hey guys, is it me or is something actually weird with Ren? I mean he's always lazy and sleeping, but his aura at the ceremony wasn't normal."

Zian: "Yeah, I felt it too, actually I saw his aura. It looked like an ancient seal been broken."

Malik: "I don't care about any of that, as long as he is in our team, I'm good."

Leo: "But let's be cautious, we don't know what he's capable of."

Dimitri: "Come to think of it, we haven't seen his rank. Isn't that rather suspicious?"

Arjun: "And his name, Ren Thabiso-Kurogane, I fell like I've heard it before."

As Arjun thought to himself, Shu walks in and he looks at them.

Shu: "Okay, before you start getting curious about your teammate I'll tell you. He's actually going to be your team captain, you'll be introduced to the chairman of Aegis, Silas Vane and he'll explain everything to you. For now get some rest you'll need it for the arrival."

Everyone's mind is racing with the thought of what awaits them as they will land at South Korea. They all fell asleep and enjoyed their flight, except for one person, Ren. He got up from his seat and went to the bathroom, he stands at the mirror and softly touches his left shoulder as a beast head wolf mark is faintly glowing black aura, his neck and arms filled with faintly ancient tattoos.

Ren: "Why now? Why do they have to appear now. Of all these years they choose now, why? These tattoos are scares from him that's for sure."

Ren's cloth covering his eyes faces the mirror as his aura radiates around his shoulders. His hands clenched tightly on the sink and he crushes it without effort, and the mirror cracks and breaks.

Ren: "Once I use my full power, these freaking tattoos will permanently appear. I've got to minimise my battles in those dungeons."

Ren shakes his head and walks out of the bathroom and goes to his seat, after a few seconds he falls asleep. Hours pass and the plain lands at South Korea at night, Shu wakes everyone and Dimitri carries Ren out of the plain. They arrive outside and they get inside the car. As the car drives through the night, Ren's personality changed, he seems more serious and focused. The car arrives at the Aegis headquarters. They all get out of the car and head inside with their luggages, as they walk in to the second floor, Malik spots two beautiful female pro hunters and his perv instincts kicks in and he rushes to them. He takes photos of them and they think it's cute of him. But other guilds pro rank male hunters got jealous, especially the tanked hunters, Jin Worr. He approaches Malik and grabs his arm roughly.

Jin: "Hey, fresh meat. You've got some nerves don't you?"

Without waiting for Malik to respond he throws him flying towards Ren with full force. Ren doesn't flinch, instead he grabs Malik's arm and puts him in a normal pose. Jin gets annoyed and heads to Ren, but Ren doesn't wait for him to get near him and he simply walks towards Shu. Jin grabs Malik's arm again and tries to break in, then with immense speed Ren grabs Jin's hand and clenches it roughly and he speaks in a deep menacing voice that releases black aura around the atmosphere.

Ren: "Back off."

Jin's expression changes and he starts to get nervous for a second, then he regains his hard expression and chuckles.

Jin: "And what would you do?"

Without warning, Ren breaks Jin's hand and throws him towards Shu, but Shu steps aside and Jin crushes on the wall. Ren's expression turns back to his bored and lazy self again and sits down on the ground. He sighs and takes out his Shibobo and crunches down on it. Some of Jin's friends try to ambush Ren, but his team stand infront of them and their aura matches theirs.
