Chapter 6:

Until the Last Stop

Never Say Never

“Hey! Careful! You nearly dropped your phone on the floor!”, she said alarmed.

“Oh!”, David opened his eyes wide, “Sorry…”

She had caught his phone before it could hit the floor and handed it back to him.

“Thanks…”, he mumbled.

She looked at him and hesitated a moment.

“You look tired”, she finally said, “you can lean on my shoulder to sleep.”

David’s eyes grew even wider.

“No…that’s…”, he stuttered looking at her, “I’m fine…”

“I used you as a pillow the whole night, so it’s only fair that you get to use me for the ride.”, she remarked and played with a strand of hair.

“No that’s not… I can’t…”

That’s not the problem…

She looked him directly into the eyes.

“Do you… hate it so much… the idea of you laying your head on my shoulders? Do you hate me after what happened at night between us?”, she asked directly with a slight worry in her voice.

“No that’s not it…”, David replied.

“Then what is it?”

Do you really want to know?

David looked back into her eyes. He sighed and put on a strained smile.

“It’s just… I’m afraid that I can’t hold back anymore if we touch again! I am a man as well, not just a nice guy… In fact, I don’t believe I’m the Nice Guy you think I am at all. I could have easily gotten you off of me, If I wanted… but I didn’t… I enjoyed it… I enjoyed feeling… you… I did think about doing… things… to you tonight… only by some miracle I didn’t…”, he burst out and looked away, ashamed of himself.

Now go on and hate me… I deserve it…

He noticed that they were alone in the train cart. But there was no time to wonder about that, because a hand touched his cheek.

What the…

David slowly turned his head with his eyes wide open in surprise. The hand that was attached to her began to caress his beard and she looked deep into his eyes.

“What if…”, she began slowly but firmly, “I wanted you to do something? What if I didn’t mistake you for a body pillow? What if I intentionally pressed my tits against you? What if I liked what I saw this morning? What if I wanted… you?”

This can’t be true!

David swallowed audibly and stared into the two sparkling sapphires, not even an armlength away.

“That…”, he had to pause to swallow again, “are a lot of ‘what If’s…”

She leaned in even closer. The sparkling grew even more intense.

“Then let me rephrase it…”, she said with a sultry voice, “I wanted you to do something. I didn’t mistake you for a body pillow. I did press my tits into you on purpose. I did like what I saw this morning. I want… you!”

David was at a loss for words. He opened his mouth only to close it back again.

“Do you…”, she tilted her head a bit, a strand of hair fell into her face, “want me?”

I DO!!

David slowly raised his hand and gently tucked the hair behind her ear.

“I do…”, he whispered.

She smiled and slowly leaned in more. David closed his eyes and prepared himself for what was about to happen.

Is it finally...

.

.

.

“Hey, wake up young man.”

David opened his eyes and looked around confused.

One of the two old ladies stood next to him and shook his shoulder.

“This is the last station, you have to get off, right?”, she said smiling friendly.

“What the… How… what?”, David stuttered completely gobsmacked and looked around.

Nobody was sitting next to him.

“Now get a move on, before the train goes back into the other direction again, young man.”, the old woman suggested.

David stood up slightly dazed.

“Why did you know that I have to get off here?”, he asked still confused.

The old woman’s smile grew wider.

“Your lovely Girlfriend ask me if I could wake you up. She wanted you to sleep a bit longer and didn’t want to wake you when she had to get off.”, she explained.

David looked at the empty seat next to him.

“She’s not… my girlfriend.”, he uttered.

“Then you should get to it! Would be a real shame to let a girl like her go!”, she replied.

David realized something in that moment.

“I don’t even… know her name…”, he stuttered.

“Then you should just ask… back in my days, that was never a problem.”, the old woman said and gave him a friendly smile and turned to get off the train.

David followed, still confused about what just happened.

What a weekend…
