Aonogami Academy's Chronicles - Mission

The sun casting across the ashen forest, abandoned hunter's temporary shelter has been scattered, tents burnt, torn fabric fluttering on the wind, pool of crimson covered slightly on entire river, the bole painted as well, massive footprints trail behind from nowhere, alongside the small ones.

One of the hunters survived, leaving a few scratches and wounds on his body, but his right arm was dislocated, a vehicle paused, the door open, the young woman with long dark-blue hair cascade over her waist, she wear a blue signature headband, wearing a white shirt and pink vest with a academy badge on the right pocket of the chest area, stepped out, drawing herself closer at the injured person.

"What happened here?" a girl asked softly, her voice was calm, her focused gaze darting around in both curiosity and fear, until her gaze landed on the survived hunter, rushed towards his side. "Oh! Hello, Sir. Are you alright, you've have injuries?" she asked softly, placing her slender hand on his wounds, he responded, shivered from fear.

"S-someone ambushed our camp… a young girl riding on the Tyrannosaurus Rex."

"You what? A-a girl riding on the dinosaur?" she responded, let a surprise gasp in disbelief, hand flew over her mouth, the injured hunter nodded silently with a moaned in pain, a young woman comfort him before introduced her name. "It's okay, name's Seo-yeon Chu. Third student from the Aonogami Academy, Principal Mizuki called me to help you out what's going on in this forest." 

The wounded hunter's jaw dropped, almost in disbelief. "What!? Who are you!? A… student?! Pfft—! Children pretending to play a hero!?"

Seo-yeon chuckled, shook her head. "No, sweetie, I wasn't just a regular student. I'm also member of our team—the Aonogami Academy's Chronicles." she responded, her voice was calm and sweet. "Also, I have my own talent."

"What kind talent do you have?"

"I can control a gust, and aqua." with a flick of her wrist, she summoned a ball of water on her palm, showing the proof, she was actually not an ordinary person. "See? Cat got your tongue?"

"Oh… my bad. Sorry about that."

"There's no need to worry about that, sweetie."

"That's awesome! It means, you have two powers!?"

"Absolutely, yep. You're answer's correct, sir. The Aonogami Academy's Chronicles need to an emergency, I'll just dial my fellow members, right now."

"W-w-what?! Another students!? Are you freaking crazy! The bunch of lesbians!?"

"Yep, they are. But powerful than you thought."

"Unlike you, they don't have any talent to figure this out! Let's call the experts instead!"

"Let see about that."

Seo-yeon picked her phone, dialing principal Mizuki to explain. "Principal, there was a hunter survived from the mysterious ambushed. He said a mysterious hybrid girl assassin his fellow hunter's alongside her pet resemble like a real tyrannosaurus rex." she explained, glance over her shoulder, staring at the trembled hunter. Principal Mizuki responded.

I'll call Hiku and the rest of her team immediately. Please bring the survivor hunter to safety.

"Understood, principal." Seo-yeon nodded, as the call ended, she assist the injured hunter towards the Aonogami Academy's vehicle.

The Aonogami Academy was filled of student's chatting about their academy routine and assignment, except inside the cafeteria, from the corner, four girls, third year sat together, just a normal routine. Violet Momokuro sat on the other table, staring at her own reflection on her compact mirror, her pink eyes half-open, her meal barely touched, still focused on her face. Rosetta Shizuku sat in the left beside her girlfriend, her hair tucked on her shoulder, munching her salad due to her plant-based meal.

"Vi, you should eat your lunch." Rosetta demanded, still munching her salad, Violet let a breath, obeyed her girlfriend's command. "Fine." Closing her compact mirror with a soft click, her pink eyes narrowed at Hiku Hiroshima, who's busy scrolling through her phone.

"Hiku?"

"Hm?" Hiku shift her attention towards her, her turquoise eyes, responded. "What?"

"Hm? Nothing, just saying hi."

Hiku rolled her eyes in annoyance, though hiding her smile curling on her lips in the phone making Violet's gaze narrowed into suspicion, she adjust her signature headband, Bakeneko ears twitch slightly from the sound from the atmosphere. Sylvia Momokuro sat beside her girlfriend, despite her height was slightly shorter than her's, pink hair tied into ponytail bounced when she's excited when her fingers curled around her girlfriend's, give a gentle squeeze.

"Love~ what are you looking?" she asked eagerly with her purple eyes sparkling in mischief. Hiku side eye her in both suspicion and slight disgust. "Nothing." she responded.

"Oh, really?~ but love~! You're looking at Seo-yeon." she whine, placing her hands on her chest in mock hurt.

"I-uh—!" Hiku stammered, her face flushed furiously in crimson. "I-I didn't mean to—!" but Sylvia let a sharp gasp dramatically, Violet rolled her eyes in annoyance, she knows her cousin's stubbornness never changed, Rosetta chuckled, though hiding her mouth with her handkerchief, Sylvia shot her a mocking glare, before shift her attention back towards her girlfriend.

"For real! Oh Hiku~! You trying to betrayed your girlfriend—! It's almost our anniversary—"

"Attention Everyone!" A voice from the radio in the ceiling announced, as if principal Mizuki called from someone in another mission. "We need an excuse for Hiku Hiroshima, Sylvia Momokuro, Violet Momokuro and Rosetta Shizuku. If you girls heard your names, please head towards the principal's office immediately."

Student murmured, their gaze fixed in the corner, Hiku paused mid-conversation, sighed deeply.

"Not again… a new mission. Really!?"

"Yeah… it's almost our mission isn't over yet, but not now, principal." Rosetta added, her pointy ears flattened, her horns glinted from the sunlight.

"But girls we have to obeyed her commands! Or else—she's decide to call our parents to forced us to do this!" Sylvia hissed, slammed her palms against the table, blushed, making them freeze, but they gave her a silent nod in determination. Hiku adjust her silver ring from her index finger with deep breath.

"Let's go, guys."

They nodded in unison, grabbed their bags on, as the group made their way to the principal's office, leaving their lunch half-eaten, when everything around them suddenly shift.

They arrived at the principal's office, breathing heavily, strap of their bags resting on their shoulders, Sylvia's chin resting on Violet's shoulder with groan escape from her lips, Violet pushed her away in disgust.

"Ugh, Syl!"

"Sorry, sis…" Sylvia mumbled with a sleepy grin. Violet just face palm in disappointed, although her cousin was feigned exhausted, teasing her despite her sassiest attitude. Hiku and Rosetta stared at them, then Principal Mizuki cleared her throat.

"Ahem, young ladies?"

"Yes!? Principal!?" said the four girls in unison, swallowed nervously. "How we can help you?" Rosetta asked with a sheepish grin. Principal Mizuki demanded with her hands tucked behind her back.

"You may take a seat, and we having a long, long conversation about the mysterious hybrid girl."

"What do mean, principal?" Hiku asked, tilted her head in curiosity, Bakeneko ears twitched.

Principal Mizuki sighed, rose from her chair, pacing back and forth. "She has a ability like yours, but something predator and far more dangerous than you fought like demons and supernatural beings living on this planet." she explained, her gaze fixed at them. "Girls, you have to find her, calm her down before she became more feral and hurt anyone."

"But, principal how are we supposed to find the forest?" Sylvia asked, her pink hair ponytail swayed as she moved, resting her head on Hiku's shoulder. "You say, she lived from the deep forest, right?" she added.

"Yes. And don't worry about that, Miss Sylvia. I call Alexa to delivered you up in the forest with her jeep."

"Thank you principal! You're the best principal I've ever seen!" Rosetta squeal in excitement, and surprised gasp slip from her lips, wrapping her arms around Violet's shoulder. Violet just make a deadpan look forming on her face while the side of her head pressed against her girlfriend's chest. "Ro! Let me go!" she whine, squirming helplessly against her girlfriend's grip. Principal Mizuki sighed, amused. "Okay, okay. At start of 7 am, you should arrive in the academy at exactly time, no late or else..."

"Else? But principal we have exam tomorrow."

"I'll give you both an excuse letter, no need to worried about your examination, the important thing is to find the girl at exactly height of 176cm, you should used your powers to trapped her without harming anyone, understand?"

"Yes, principal!" They said in unison, nodding.

"Good, you've better not to fail your mission. Now go—get out from my office."

"Yes principal!"

The four girls left in the room, shutting the door with a soft click, the atmosphere was silent, except the humming sound of air-conditioner, leaving Principal Mizuki stared at the stack of papers and documents, her gaze narrowed at the blurry image of a massive shadow, resembled to the last survivor of the king of dinosaur. The Tyrannosaurus Rex and the mysterious hybrid girl name; Kyou, the legend of horror and prehistoric hybrid. She mumbled under her breath, silent praying for the sake

"Hiku, Sylvia, Violet, Rosetta... I hoped you find her before it's too late."

"Ugh… worst day ever…" Hiku groaned, her arms tucked behind her head, Bakeneko ears twitched every sound of their footsteps. "Another mission, we're both in danger as hell."

Rosetta groaned, her vines from her arm curled itself tightly, sensing it's owner distress. Her collar gleamed in the sunset light. "Yeah… another mission to focus, lot's of study later."

Sylvia and Violet stared at their girlfriends in concern look forming on their face as they moved in the hallway. Sylvia paused and she shift her position in front of them.

"Girls, let's buy some bubble tea, I need hydration first~"

Violet tilt her head, her hand on her hip, confused look forming on her face with mumbled of Not again…. Hiku stared at her, fingers curled around the strap of her bag, Rosetta nibbling her strawberry paused mid-bite, but they obeyed, both heading towards the exit of the academy gates just a little relaxation before their mission starts early in the morning tomorrow on their own respective battle attire.
