As the weekend rolled around, the gang decided to head to the beach in Zushi.

"I come here a bit, usually for filming. How bout you, Oki-kun?" Iori grinned.

Okisato shook his head. "The last time I came to this beach... Years. Wasn't really much into the beach, still not."

"Now don't wade too far into ocean," Daria smiled as she finished coating a young 7-year old Mimoko in sunblock.

Mimoko happily nodded before running off to splash with a young 6-year old Yuusuke over by the shore.

"Baa, bah ba," a young 1-year old Kotora babbled.

"Not yet, little one. But you get mommy milk at the beach," Daria smiled as she slid her bra down, allowing Kotora access to fresh milk.

The little one latched on in seconds, and after a good meal of milk, was peacefully snoozing.

"You really like it when babies suck your tits, huh," Hagemi smirked.

"Miss the feeling?"

"No. Yuusuke was always lousy at sucking milk."

"Why not have another kid to see if you can get one that sucks milk right?"

"No. I'm struggling enough with just Yuusuke."

A little ways over, a beautiful woman with short wavy black hair with red highlights sat down before a young boy. "I got the refreshments, now let's play," she smiled as she handed the boy an ice cream and a canned drink.

The boy nodded and began licking his ice cream as he stared at the chessboard before him. With the bishops on the a and d files, the rooks on the b and h files, the knights on the c and f files, the queen on the e file, and the king on the g file, it was clear this was going to be a 960 game, rather than a normal one.

"Oki, you're first," the woman smiled.

Okisato nodded and opened by moving his pawn to e4, as his mother, Kana, responded by moving her pawn to e5. H4, b5, knight g3, and d5 came next before first blood would be drawn by Okisato capturing the pawn at d5 with his e-pawn, and Kana capturing said pawn with her bishop. b3, knight g6, and h5 followed, before Kana decided it was time to test Okisato's prowess, and moved her bishop to f6.

Okisato stared for a bit before capturing the knight at g6 with his h-pawn.

"Good. Now what comes next?" Kana smiled as she captured the pawn at g6 with her h-pawn.

"... Check," Okisato replied as he captured the rook at h8 with his rook, forcing Kana to take said rook with her king.

"Excellent! But what now?"

Okisato thought for a moment before moving his queen to e3. Kana nodded at the play and moved her knight to d6. Knight d3 came next, with Kana deciding to test Okisato again by moving her pawn to e4. Okisato saw the line immediately and captured the bishop at f6 with his bishop.

"Hmm, hmm," Kana nodded as she recaptured said bishop with her g-pawn.

Knight f4, bishop b7, f-knight h5, queen f8, and knight captures f6 all played out before Okisato was to be tested yet again in the form of king f7.

"Hmm... better to check with this knight," Okisato thought as he moved his g-knight to h5.

"Hmm? Was that really a good move?" Kana asked as she captured the knight at h5 with her g-pawn.

"Yes. I follow up with another check," Okisato retorted as he moved his queen to g5.

This forced Kana's king to h8, allowing Okisato to check again by capturing the pawn at h5 with his queen.

"And blocking with the queen would be mate. So how do you plan to win this?" Kana smiled as she moved her king to g7.

"Check," Okisato replied as he moved his queen back to g5.

Once more, Kana's king was forced back to h8, but rather than repeat, Okisato instead moved his bishop to g4.

Kana chuckled at the play and thought for a bit before moving her pawn to b4. "Let's see if you can find the fastest way to mate."

"... Would it be castling?"

"CAN you castle?"

Okisato stared at the board. "Yes," he responded as he castled queen's side.

Kana clapped her hands together. "You remembered how to castle in 960. Only here is it possible for the king to move more than two spaces when castling," she smiled as she moved her pawn to e3.

"And I've almost one. After this check, it's mate," Okisato declared as he moved his rook to h1.

"Right you are," Kana smiled as she moved her queen to h6.

"Checkmate," Okisato nodded as he captured the queen at h6, winning the game.

Elsewhere, a young girl with long pink hair grinned as she held a rock in her hand. "This thing is sharp. Yeah, it could work," she thought to herself.

"Iori, come here!" a woman called out.

The girl happily nodded and ran back over to her mom and sister.

"Ah, we sure had some great memories here back in the day," Iori smiled as she, Okisato, and Mimoko watched the sun set in the present.

"I just wish Yuusuke-kun could have joined us," Mimoko sighed.

"Well not like he's got anything for us anyway, so Oki-kun gets the whole pot," Iori grinned as she wrapped her arms around Mimoko and Okisato.

"I don't have feelings for Tanabe-kun," Mimoko pouted as her cheeks went red.

"Yeah, sure."

Okisato, meanwhile, smiled as he stared at the spot he and his mother had played chess together. "I guess the trip was worth it," he nodded.
