The Secret Passengers

"I found this on top of the barrels. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw them. But it is real."

Caitrin excitedly and nervously approached them and said,

"What is the problem?"

She then saw the news and she became shocked like them too.

The words slowly fell from her lips,

"An attack after the ceremony? How could this happen? How could someone do such a thing?"

"I can't give an exact answer for that. But the most likely option for this is, "Nuzuki Serumu"." Said Lydia as she still looked at the news.

"Who is that?"

"He is an Orwell. And that is a creature with two wings on its back and has a human body. Even if their bodies work like a human, they are ten times more dangerous and faster than a human, and they are considered one of the most powerful creatures on this earth. They live in the Third Kingdom and waited all these years doing nothing. But now they're suddenly attacking.

It is said that before he left, he said that he will go after other creature hunters too. 

I can't imagine a worse scenario right now."

All of this seemed familiar to Caitrin, but she couldn't remember. As if she'd seen it somewhere before. And at that moment, she finally remembered and said excitedly,

"Just like I saw in Aetas! I told you there was someone following us, you remember that right? That woman over there had wings too! It could be one of them!"

Lydia said,

"She probably followed you and found out about the ceremony. And then she probably gave information to others and attacked after setting up a plan."  

She then added,

"However, all of them's just a guess."

Caitrin asked once more,

"But what are we going to do? We're already dealing with Rifts and there are people following us. If he comes after us too, we can't just fight them."

Orano then looked at them and said,

"We're not going to do anything right now. We'll find the next Rift and we will travel to the next place we see. But if he comes across us, then we have no choice but to fight. So be prepared."

After making plans about what to do for a while, they decided to go to sleep. 

It was a cold night and the full moon had come out. Orano was lying on the ground and resting, when Lydia was out and looking around for anyone coming towards there.

On the other hand, Caitrin was just looking at the moon and was thinking about their situation. 

She said to herself as she leaned and put her hand in her face,

*We fought creatures at first, then we helped people by fighting creatures again, then people looked at us with a scary look on their face on the ceremony, And after all these chases, we found out that a killer was after us.*

She then sighed and added sarcastically, 

*Why do I feel like our chances are getting worse every day?*

But after thinking about it for a while, Caitrin got bored and went to check on Lydia. And since she didn't think it was necessary, she didn't take her sword with her.

When she came out of the storage room, a cold wind hit her in the face, and the floor was wet because it had rained before. It felt weird as she moved to a wet place from a dry place, But she still kept walking since she was curious about where Lydia went. 

And after walking for a while, she then stopped and looked around. 

But again she could not see her anywhere.

And as she started walking again, she heard something from one of the storage rooms and got distracted. She thought it could have been an animal at first, but then she heard loud talking.

She immediately ran towards there to check it out. And after getting close enough, she looked inside the window and started watching what was happening.

It was the same boy that they saw earlier. 

But he was doing something different. It seemed like there was a person that was lying in the corner of the room and he was sitting next to that person. He had a couple of potions in his hand and one of them was empty.

At first, Caitrin couldn't make out what they were, but then she saw that they were medical potions.

She then said to herself confused,

"Medical Potions? What is he going to do with them?"

But as she looked closer, she felt two breathes in her back and it sent chills down her spine. As she turned around with complete fear on her face, she saw Orano and Lydia looking at her. She was so angry, but for not to be heard by that kid, she talked whispering,

"Hey! What do you two think you're doing!? I almost dropped my heart here!"

Orano crossed his arms and said,

"You're the one who sneaked around without telling anyone. So this is not the time to blame others."

"Because I was looking into where Lydia was! And when did you guys find each other anyway?"

Lydia smiled and said,

"I found Mr. Tatsumi walking around and looking for you. And since we came across each other, we started to search for you."

"That makes sense." Caitrin said as her expression changed.

Then Orano looked inside the window and said,

"So he came here after all of that happened."

Caitrin and Lydia both looked inside too.

Lydia said,

"This is the criminal Runo was chasing. I wonder what he's doing in there."

"Yeah. I found him a couple of minutes ago. It looked like he was helping a person. But now he got in front of that person and I can't see what is happening." Caitrin as she looked at the window too.

But while they were talking, Orano suddenly opened the door and entered inside.

Both Caitrin and Lydia and the boy were surprised that he suddenly opened the door. 

And as they came in, the boy picked up his sword from the ground and pointed it at them, then he said with an angry expression on his face,

"Hey! Who are you?"
