Spotlight #37: Vihaan

Vihaan Gosain, age 30. A proud Indian chess prodigy, Vihaan seeks to cement India's status as THE greatest chess power in the world. This often leads to lots of friction at the WWCF due to the fact that India lacks a maestro. Though India has been allocated the maximum number of DSPCM slots, Vihaan, the nation's chief representative at the WWCF, refuses to approve any candidates, believing that India deserves the full maestro and SPCM treatment to better reflect its chess superpower status.

As for his personal life, he is happily married, and when the matter does not concern India and secret puzzle cafes, he's quite friendly, even funny. He'll frequently agree to be a part of interviews and fun little projects for the WWCF's Ewetube channel.
