All Might's Hope

People on the street were running for their lives, trying to get away from the sludge monster.

When they saw the monster's hand reaching for Ochaco and All Might, many people shut their eyes. They could already imagine what would happen.

Kamui Woods, Death Arms, Mt. Lady, and the others glared in anger and shouted, "Run! You're no match for it! Wait for the other heroes!"

But it was already too late.

"Young man, this isn't the time to act on impulse. Leave this to me!" All Might had already made up his mind since there was no way to escape. Blood burst from his mouth again.

Yuto shook his head slightly as he looked at All Might, who was painfully thin and coughing up blood.

From his memories of My Hero Academia, he knew that the terrible injury from several years ago had left All Might permanently damaged.

Now the Symbol of Peace was already in decline.

"Sir, if you keep going, your body won't hold out," Yuto said. "You've pushed your body too far. If you keep forcing yourself, the monster won't be the one to fall first. You will."

As he spoke, Yuto raised Wado Ichimonji. His gaze sharpened.

All Might looked helpless. He had no way to argue.

The monster gave them no time to breathe. Its giant hand came down like a wave, about to reach Yuto.

Before All Might could transform, Yuto swung Wado Ichimonji. "Tremor Slash."

Tremor Slash gathered the power of the Gura Gura no Mi into the blade and released it with a swing. At full power, it could split an island in half.

But right now, Yuto had not reached that level.

Crack! Crack!

Wado Ichimonji cut through the air. A sharp sound rang out, and glass-like cracks appeared in the space ahead.

The cracks spread all the way to the giant hand. Crack after crack split the air as it began to come apart.

Boom! Boom!

In the next moment, the giant hand shattered and collapsed into a pile of sludge on the ground.

The whole street fell silent.

The crowd gasped and stared at Yuto in disbelief.

One slash had cut apart that giant hand.

He was really that strong.

Kamui Woods and the other Pro Heroes smiled in relief. They were glad Yuto and the others were not hurt, but they were also shocked by his swordsmanship.

All Might and Ochaco were still stunned.

Before they could recover, Yuto moved again. He rushed toward the monster like lightning, his right fist clenched. A white spherical glow appeared around it.

"Air Shatter."

Panic flashed across its face. The pain from its severed arm rippled through its body. Watching Yuto rush in, it roared in anger, "You want to die!"

"Ice Spear, Flame Jet, One Hundred Thousand Volts, High-Pressure Water Cannon..."

A barrage of attacks rushed toward Yuto from every direction.

Boom! Boom!

Yuto raised his right fist and shattered every attack, driving forward without slowing.

"Impossible!"

The villain's eyes widened in shock. "I've absorbed so many Quirks! How can I still lose?"

Before it could react, Yuto's fist came down with crushing force.

The violent wind from the punch swept outward, and the crowd raised their arms to block it.

"Ha! I'm sludge. My body is fluid. Your fist is useless against me."

It recoiled, badly shaken by the force behind that punch.

"Is that so?" Yuto asked with a faint teasing smile.

Crack! Crack!

The sound of breaking glass rang out again, and the creature's laughter stopped.

Cracks appeared in front of Yuto's right fist and spread across the villain's entire body.

Boom! Boom!

Before it could react, Yuto sent it flying into the sky. Its body burst apart into countless pieces and fell back to the ground.

Chunks of sludge splattered across the street, and the civilians it had swallowed tumbled free, coughing but alive.

A huge crack was carved into the road, stretching forward and opening a deep gap in the pavement.

That punch was like a storm, destroying everything in front of it.

The crowd stared in shock, unable to believe what they were seeing.

A monster that Kamui Woods and the other Pro Heroes could not stop had been defeated by a teenager?

The street went completely silent.

But in the next moment, the crowd erupted, raising their arms.

"Hero! Hero!"

In their eyes, Yuto was the one who had saved their lives.

Kamui Woods and the others could hardly believe it. They had fought the monster themselves, so they knew how dangerous it was after absorbing so many Quirks.

And yet, in the end, it could not withstand one attack from that boy.

No wonder they were shocked.

Ochaco pointed at Yuto with excitement. "See? Yuu-kun is amazing!"

She looked as if she had defeated the monster herself.

All Might was stunned too. He had been planning to transform and deal with the monster himself, but Yuto had suddenly appeared and defeated it in one strike.

It was the first time he had seen a Quirk like that. He wondered whether Yuto's power might rival his own.

Only a short while ago, he had met a boy named Izuku Midoriya and begun considering him as a potential successor.

Now he had met Yuto. His heart beat faster. Maybe in the future, the boy would be even stronger than Midoriya. Maybe his Quirk was even stronger than One For All.

The thought made his heart pound again, and he spat out blood.

Yuto acted as if he had only done something ordinary. He returned Wado Ichimonji to its sheath.

A cold mechanical voice rang in his mind.

Skill Unlocked: Tremor - Earthsplitter

Good. Another skill unlocked. The corner of Yuto's mouth lifted into a small smile.

"Young man, may I speak with you?"

A deep voice came from behind Yuto. He turned and saw All Might, then nodded slightly. "Sure."
