Uhh, the Beginning?

‘Crap! If I’m late, Will is going to kill me!’

Gabriel was late. Again. But the question is, what is he late for? School? A date? Or maybe, is he late to a therapy session?! Tsk, tsk, tsk. Gabriel is actually late for the train! In ten minutes, that train is gone! 

‘If I miss that train, then my life is ruined! I’m gonna have to use my ability…but I’m not supposed to use it in public! But who cares, Will is gonna kill me if I miss it!’

Gabriel is a man of many talents. Unfortunately, being on time is not one of them.

‘Okay… don’t let the fire control you. I gotta be natural with it. If I just concentrate my power in my legs to be way faster, it should work, right?’

He managed to crash into the wall.

“What the… I guess that was expected. I’m no good with this type of stuff.”

“All right, one more time!” 

Crashing into the wall once again, Gabriel’s confidence was wavering. Not only did he crash into a wall twice, he ruined his shoes and the hem of his pants.

‘No, no, no! Why isn’t this working? Dammit, I need to do something, but what do I do? If I just wasn’t late, none of this would have happened…’

Gabriel got up slowly. The wall was basically destroyed behind him. “I’m so screwed…”

 Checking his watch, Gabriel realizes there are only four minutes left. He thinks for a bit, ultimately concluding that he isn’t making it. “Shit…”

“Gabriel! What the hell are you doing? Get on this bike, we’re going to be late if you don’t!”

“… Huh? Wait, William?!”
