The Fall Of The Champion

Both of them were tired and took heavy damages. But they both had to energy to finish this fight, and they both wanted to.

As the Queen watched the event carefully, she said to herself,

"Now they are both tired. I didn't know a person would beat Genju like this, but it looks like I was wrong. Let's see who is going to make the finishing move."

And as the crowd watched the contest and made predictions about who would make the move first, They got so excited, and they never stopped the shouting. 

Now everything depended on them.

As they were gasping for air and thought strategies about how to defeat each other,

Genju said to himself,

*All this time, he used his energy well and managed to escape my attacks. And he knows I have the advantage. And since we're at the end of the fight, he'll probably use all his energy right now. So it's time to hit the finishing shot.*

After a little respite and looking at each other, 

Genju slightly smiled as he gasped for air and said,

"This fight is getting longer than it needs to be, don't you think? So how about we get this to a conclusion and show them who the champion is?"

Orano swung his sword to the right and said,

"As you wish."

And for the final time, their swords collided once again. But now they were trying to hit each other faster and stronger. Every time their swords collided, sparks came out and the area around them shook strongly. They were both eager to win and they both gave their everything to it.

Genju's cruel and greedy gaze grew bigger every time he hit. Tatsumi, on the other hand, looked at him with calm eyes, but he prevented the incoming attacks and tried to attack Genju each time he had the chance.

Genju was so sure of himself and didn't stop attacking, but he didn't realize the cracks that were occurring in his sword. He just kept trying to hit Orano with quick attacks.

Orano said to himself,

*His sword is going to break. If I can hold him like this for a while, he is going to be unarmed.*

But just then he thought that, Genju hit Orano's hand, and made his sword fly once more. Unlike he thought, Orano became the unarmed person. And just then his sword flew away, Genju stabbed him from the right side of his belly and wounded him.

Caitrin shouted with fear,

"Tatsumi!"

Orano was now spitting blood and could barely stand up. But he grabbed the sword and tried to stand still.

Genju said,

"It would be better if you gave up. If you don't stop, you know you'll have more wounds than this one here."

And pushed the sword further.

Orano was desperate. He had no place to run, neither a weapon to attack. His eyes began to close slowly and he couldn't feel his body. 

But he knew he couldn't give up. He knew he had to do something. 

So he grabbed the sword tightly and said,

"The fight.... Isn't.... Over yet!"

He then left the sword and hit Genju's ears at full speed with his wrists. This stunned Genju very hard and his hands fell from the sword. Orano used this as an advantage and kicked him. Making him fly away once more.

Now Genju was out of energy and was lying on the ground. As he tried to get up, Orano took out the sword and, slowly approached Genju. His one hand has pressed the wound on his abdomen, and his other hand held the sword firmly.

And as Genju got onto his knees, Orano said,

"Our battle is over here. There's no point fighting anymore."

Genju slightly smiled and said,

"I'll accept that. You deserved to win this, and I have lost this fight. But there's something I need to know."

Then he raised his look at him and added,

"What motivates you so much? What ignites your desire to fight? Why are you putting everything on the line? I want to know all of them."

Orano slowly pointed the sword at his head and said,

"You shouldn't underestimate your opponent no matter what. Because no matter who your opponent is, no matter who or how weak he is, it doesn't matter. Because you don't know how much your opponent has fought all this time, how many challenges he or she's been through, or the countless experiences they had. This would be an insult to the rules of competition and dueling. 

And when it comes to the things that ignite someone's desire to fight. They are the things that a person shouldn't ever forget. Because a person's goals, dreams, and purpose, are the fighter's ultimate goals.

That is why you can't just walk away from what you believe that easily. That's why you always have to fight to your limits in a fight. Because that's a fighter's mindset. A fighter, must always exceed his limits and be even better than himself. That's when he can climb higher than the others.

So next time, measure your own power, not your enemy's, and then fight such battles.

Because a person who does not know the value of the power that he carries, cannot manifest himself on the actual battlefield."

Those words of Orano, deeply affected Genju. Why he's been fighting all this time, his goals, his reason to fight, and all of the ideas that he had. Everything changed at that moment.

He slowly bowed down his head once more, smiled, and said to himself,

*I lost for the first after a long time. It's been a long time since I've felt that feeling. However, I remember now. Why I was here, Why did I fight all these times, I will no longer stand and look behind the others for stupid reasons. I will make a better version of myself.*

The crowd was going crazy over how the champion lost, and they shouted,

"How can he win?"

"He is stronger than I thought."

"Our champion has lost?"

Even the Queen got up from her chair and looked at him shocked,

Then she said,

"How can he do this? What kind of person he is? There is something special about him."

Caitrin sat on the ground, looked at wounded Orano with scared eyes,

She then slowly said to herself,

"He did it. He finally did it."

And as the crowd were shouting, Miko finally came and shouted among the crowd,

"Tatsumi! Caitrin! Right here! Ran towards the wall in front of you I will get you out!"

Caitrin got up and shouted back,

"Understood!"

Then they both started running towards the wall and waited there for a couple of seconds. As Miko saw them approaching, she swung her spear and created an ice floe by using elemental magic.  

Then as she raised them to where the crowd was, they jumped from the ice to where the crowd was.

And then Orano said,

"Come on! We have no time to lose!"

After that, they got out of there and started running towards the Port.
