First Battle

- "It seems I am not the only one who has interest in you, Nate. Such a lucky guy, you are a very interesting person, Nate! So, it is not time to sleep, wake up and confront with reality."

by hearing these voices, he woke up from dream.

- "What was that?! His voice... his voice was similar."

he talked drowsily. The glowing markings in his arm slowly faded away, it seems that when he was dreaming, the markings were glowing. He had so many questions about these markings to ask, at the same time, he didn't want answers. It was midnight when he woke up; everything, everywhere was coloured by darkness. Seelie was sleeping peacefully in the bed beside his bed. He started to dress up quietly and exited the house. Near the house, there was a small garden looking towards the forest and there was an old wooden bench in that garden. He sat on the bench and started to watch the view: there were so many shiny stars, one big and one small bright Moon in the sky which was giving some light to this dark forest. While observing, he felt that it was not his first time doing that:

- "What a beautiful view. I feel like I have seen a view like that before with someone, but I don't know when and with whom. Never mind, Nate, it seems that I am an old man who enjoys the beauty of peaceful night. Though I am in a suitable age form, from inside I feel much older. 17 Years old does not suit my soul age. Moon's Gate, right?! My sister, you will wait for me there?! Then I have to find that place, though there are two moons in the sky, and I don't know that the place you mentioned in my dream is related to these Moons, I promise that I will find you, my sister! That is right, I am considered a hero, then that is much better, it will be so easy to find you, after I become the real hero of this world."

He saw the glowing in his hero symbol and suddenly heard the loud sound of villagers. He ran towards the sound coming side and saw a bunch of people gathered in centre of village. He learned from villagers that a person on the patrol saw a group of goblins gathering near the village, and they plan to attack the village. Nate went to the house and woke up Seelie. Everyone gathered in the front of the village and waiting for any attacks of goblins. It is not the first time that goblins attack the village, and will not be last, so they are always ready to fight goblins. However, the condition was not same for Nate, it will be his first time to see a real battle and a real goblin. He was excited and nervous at the same time. The villagers provided him with a sword, a knife and some armour. He felt the heaviness of armour and sword when he was wearing them. Seelie noticed Nate's nervousness and tried to calm down him:

- "I know it will be your first fight and you do not have any sword training. I was not expecting a fight for the first day of our journey either and it is understandable that you will not be able to fight properly. They caught our guard off, so don't push yourself, try to survive, you will be hero of this world. Don't worry, I will provide you with magic support."

The goblin group started to show themselves, their group contains 10 small goblin, 10 warrior goblin and 3 big elite goblins. A little time later, the big fight started, blood odor spread in the sky, the battle was fierce because both sides were equally strong. Though Nate was in the back line, he saw and felt everything: cries, screams and especially blood splashes. Some goblins from the front line managed to escape and started to attack the back line. One of these goblins was fighting with Nate, Nate was shaking unstoppably, he was hardly holding his sword. Goblin felt his fear and attacked first. Fear from death gave Nate adrenaline boost and he parried his attack with strong move. From the shock of that hit, their swords dislodged from their hands and fell to the ground. It was a chance for Nate to counterattack and finish it, so he pounced on goblin and pushed it onto ground. He quickly pulled the knife from his belt, stuck the sharp knife to its neck. The blood from its neck splashed onto his face like a fountain. When his skin touched to goblin's, he heard its last words:

- "F*ck, f*ck, it hurts... it hurts like hell, it seems that this is end for me. Sorry my wife, sorry my children, I will not be able to see you again. I hope my battle friends will bring victory news to you, if we win... if we win. Mom, dad, I am coming to your side, our separation is ov...."

He got shocked, his hands were shaking, his body was drenched by blood, the enemy in front of him was already dead, he killed someone or something the first time in his life. What he saw, what he observed and what he heard were true hell for him. From that shock, he started to scream, his battle friends dragged him from the corpse to the out of battle. Seelie put him to sleep and put physical and sound barrier around him with her magic. The fight ended with the victory of humans, all of goblins in the fight were killed. Half of warrior villagers were died in the battle. From this fight, Nate didn't have any physical injury, but his mental injury was unmeasurable.
