Chapter 7

Archer elf begins to speak, 'I think it's okay to join up with it for now, it's different than the usual animal or monster.'
'The problem is that people won't accept a tarachnid partner and will likely target it and us.'
'There are adventurers with unique or dangerous partners like the giant scorpion rider and the one who rides a red bear' says the healer.
'That's true but those aren't as scary as this one, especially with how much people fear and hate it thanks to its appearance and the times they come out of the dungeon and wipe out anything they find.'
Healer-chan looks sad, 'ahh, you are always like this, too kind for your own good, yet that's what I like about you' says the rogue in a defeated way.
'We have to choice anyways right? we won't go anywhere if we don't take this spider with us'.
'Rogue..' healer looks hopeful.
'I agree, we can deal with the backlash later' archer.
'Yeah, if we clear quests then they will have no choice but to acknowledge us' rogue.
All 3 of them turn to me and healer-chan extends her hand to me, 'let's be partners.'
I accept and give her my front hand/leg, I return their equipment and free the rogue.
I extend my hand this time, she accepts and so does the elf.

Outside of the dungeon, finally.
The sky is blue, I can feel the wind and fresh air.
Sunshine and nature, who knew it could feel this good.
No security right in front of the entrance, this is in case something powerful comes out.
A little bit away you can see some army sites with soldiers, they are there to cull some of the outgoing creatures.
'hey! what is that monster!' yells a soldier while we are surrounded by lots of them.
Now it starts, 'calm down, he is our animal partner, we tamed it', says the rogue.
She begins convincing the others, the archer elf hid her ears again and the healer is also trying to plea with the soldiers.
A commander type of guy shows up, he must be the big shot here.
'seems it's not attacking but can you prove you have it tamed?'
'Yes, Tara go ahead and lay down' says the rogue.
Tara? that's a nice name, my previous name was Albert but I already don't care much for it.
I lay down and next she orders some more moves which I also do.
It's like acrobatics, finally it ends with me putting my head down and being patted by the healer.
The men were the most impressed by that, like a religious experience seeing a priest tame a monster.
'It seems ok however we will need to keep you here for a while to get approval from the higher ups, rare partners like this need their own approval system.
And so we pass this trial and are awaiting to leave, the girls are exhausted and also report the death of the others.
'ah yes, you all went in there, the shock of that spider made me forget, what a shame they died but that is the risk of going in these dungeons.'
More paperwork, you just can't escape this even in another world.
