Chapter 1 / Episode 1: Srinivasulu vs Ren Part 2 – Divine Power Unleashed
The roaring flames cast long, dancing shadows across the obliterated forest. Srinivasulu stood tall, untouched by the devastation, and looked down at the battered game protagonist.
"What's the matter, Ren?" Srinivasulu called out, his voice echoing with absolute confidence. "Are you finally ready to accept defeat?"
Ren slowly pushed himself off the scorched earth. His clothes torn, his breathing ragged, but his aura was spiking violently. "Me? Accept defeat?" Ren spat out blood, his eyes snapping up to lock onto Srinivasulu. "I have fought through the very jaws of death. I have crawled my way back from the abyss. I have never accepted defeat... and I sure as hell won't start today!"
Ren released a primal, earth-shaking roar. Suddenly, the atmosphere grew suffocatingly dense. His eyes ignited, glowing with a blinding, ethereal neon blue.
Vrrrrm! Vrrrrm! Vrrrrm!
With three distinct holographic chimes, three glowing digital cards materialized out of thin air, floating ominously in front of Ren. Each card displayed a highly detailed, intricate illustration of a mythical higher being.
Srinivasulu’s eyes widened in sheer disbelief. Wait... those cards? his mind raced, instantly recognizing the game's mechanics. I know exactly what those are!
"Silver Warrior Transformation!" Ren shouted, his hand snatching the center card from the air.
Ha man, you have got to be kidding me, Srinivasulu thought.
Before Srinivasulu could even react, a catastrophic surge of silver energy erupted from Ren’s body, rocketing into the sky like an inverted waterfall. Suspended in the air, Srinivasulu watched in horror as a dense, metallic sphere of pure silver energy completely encased Ren.
SHATTER!
The silver sphere exploded outward in a shockwave of blinding light. Stepping out from the dissipating energy was Ren, but he was completely transformed. He was now clad in a majestic, impenetrable set of silver divine armor, radiating the oppressive presence of a war god. In his hands, he wielded a massive, terrifyingly oversized silver greatsword.
A glowing, translucent system prompt materialized above Ren’s head:
«[Status: Silver Warrior form - Level 45 ]»
"You are dead now," Ren growled, his voice layered with a metallic, booming resonance.
"O Swami..." Srinivasulu muttered.
Without wasting a microsecond, the Silver Warrior vanished. Ren moved with terrifying velocity, reappearing directly above Srinivasulu and bringing the massive greatsword down in a devastating overhead strike.
CLANG!
Srinivasulu’s golden divine dome instantly flared to life, intercepting the colossal blade. But this time, it wasn't a clean deflection. The sheer kinetic force of the Level 45 form pushed Srinivasulu down, his boots sinking inches into the dirt.
Ren didn't stop. He unleashed a relentless, blinding flurry of strikes. Slash! Slash! Slash! The heavy silver blade slammed against the golden barrier over and over again, each impact echoing like a thunderclap across the mountains.
CRACK.
Srinivasulu’s eyes widened in horror. Tiny, spiderweb fractures began to spread across the surface of his divine golden dome. It was giving way.
"Silver Slash Attack!" Ren roared, channeling every ounce of his aura into his greatsword. He unleashed a horizontal wave of pure, condensed silver energy.
SHATTER!
The golden dome exploded into a million shimmering fragments. The silver blade ripped through the space where Srinivasulu had been standing just a millisecond prior. Reacting purely on divine instinct, Srinivasulu had teleported, reappearing high up in the sky, gasping for breath.
Ren snapped his head upward, tracking the movement instantly. "Change!"
A surge of brilliant neon-blue energy erupted from Ren's body, engulfing the massive silver greatsword. The colossal blade dissolved into streams of radiant blue light, swirling violently around his hands before condensing into a towering, intricate silver longbow. Drawing the bowstring back, Ren unleashed a terrifying barrage. Thousands of lethal, glowing silver arrows streaked into the sky, tracking Srinivasulu like a swarm of furious hornets.
Relying entirely on his divine speed, Srinivasulu darted through the sky, dodging, weaving, and narrowly escaping the explosive projectiles.
This isn't fair! Srinivasulu yelled in his mind, panic finally setting in. In this game, the Hero and his companions possess the power to transform their physical avatars! Ren transformed, and now he is completely overpowering me. I don't have that ability! How am I supposed to survive this?!
In his desperation, he folded his hands mid-air. "Narada Munindra! raksha raksha... Paahi paahi! (Protect me... Save me!)"
Instantly, the soothing, celestial voice of Sage Narada echoed within the theater of his mind.
"Did I not tell you, Srinivasulu?" Narada spoke calmly. "When Lord Venkateshwara sent you here, He placed a fraction of His own supreme power inside you. Even though it is merely an atom of His infinite might, when that divine energy entered this specific universe, it naturally adapted to the laws and mechanics of this world!"
Srinivasulu dodged another explosive arrow. "Munindra! Are you saying I can transform too? Did the Swami truly grant me such an ability?"
"It is already within you, my child," Narada replied. "Do not panic. Close your eyes. Meditate upon the Lord and focus your absolute, unbroken concentration upon the divine energy resting in your core. The power will manifest itself."
Hovering in the chaotic sky, Srinivasulu took a deep breath. Ignoring the thousands of arrows hurtling toward him, he closed his eyes, pressed his palms together, and began to softly chant with pure, unwavering devotion.
"Srinivasa... Govinda. Srinivasa... Govinda."
Down below, Ren lowered his bow slightly, his silver armor glinting in the firelight. "What the hell is that idiot doing up there?" Ren muttered. Refusing to take chances, he pulled the bowstring back and unleashed a final, overwhelming volley of arrows meant to obliterate the boy.
But just before the arrows could pierce Srinivasulu’s flesh, the sky erupted.
A breathtaking, majestic cloud of golden, divine light materialized around Srinivasulu, swallowing him whole. Ren’s lethal silver arrows plunged into the golden nebula and simply... vanished. Erased from existence entirely.
Slowly, Srinivasulu opened his eyes.
Floating perfectly still in front of him were five glowing, ethereal cards, pulsing with an ancient, overwhelming cosmic power.
Srinivasulu reached out, his trembling fingers hovering over the first card. The illustration depicted a magnificent boar-headed deity radiating pure, raw power.
"Looking at this form... it resembles the Swetha Varaha Murthy," Srinivasulu whispered in awe. "It looks exactly like the Adi Varaha Swamy who resides in the holy hills of Tirupati!"
He looked at the second card. A terrifying, man-lion deity tearing the universe apart with sheer ferocity.
"This Ugra Swaroopam (Fierce Form)... this is unequivocally the Ugra Narasimha Swamy of Ahobilam!"
His eyes moved to the third card. A divine prince clad in magnificent royal attire, radiating both regal grace and lethal precision. Though dressed as royalty, an unmistakable aura of a supreme divine hunter surrounded him, as if every forest and mountain acknowledged him as their sovereign.
"The supreme Divine Hunter... The only time I've heard of a hunter form is when Lord Shiva appeared as a cosmic hunter to test Arjuna's penance for the Pashupatastra at the Indrakeeladri Hill in Vijayawada. But wait... I have also heard the lore that Lord Venkateshwara Himself was in a form of a hunter when He first met Goddess Padmavati! This form perfectly embodies both Hari and Hara. The Lord gave me a form that unites both lord Shiva and Himself!"
He shifted his gaze to the fourth card. An awe-inspiring, celestial emperor sitting atop a majestic steed. He read the glowing title and gasped.
"Andhra Vallabha?! The supreme Lord of Telugus? Looking at this majestic form, it instantly reminds me of srikakulam Andhra Maha Vishnu and his ancient temple renovated for Him back in the 2nd century BCE!"
Finally, he looked at the fifth card. A powerful deity holding a battle axe, standing triumphantly atop a demon.
"He holds an axe and stands upon the demon Apasmara... this is exactly like the lord Shiva's form of Gudimallam Parasurameswara Swamy! The very design of this card mirrors the ancient Shiva lingam from the temple, His ancient temple renovated in the 1st century BCE!"
Srinivasulu’s heart swelled with profound emotion. The realization hit him like a tidal wave.
"For Lord Venkateshwara to bestow upon me powers modeled entirely after the ancient, sacred deities of my own Telugu land... is there a grander, hidden Daiva Leela (Divine purpose) behind all of this?"
Narada’s voice softly chimed in his mind. "You see the truth now, Srinivasulu. The choice of power... is entirely yours."
Down below, Ren watched the sky with growing frustration. He had no idea what was happening behind those blinding golden clouds.
Suddenly, the clouds parted.
Srinivasulu plummeted from the sky like a meteor, landing upon the scorched earth with a heavy, earth-shattering thud.
A burst of brilliant neon-blue energy erupted around Ren once again. The towering silver longbow dissolved into streams of radiant blue light that spiraled around his body before instantly reforging themselves into the massive silver greatsword. Ren gripped the colossal blade with both hands, raising it defensively.
But as the dust settled, Ren's eyes expanded in sheer, unadulterated shock.
Orbiting slowly around Srinivasulu’s body were glowing, ethereal golden cards of unimaginable power.
"Th-that is impossible!" Ren stammered, stepping back, his silver armor trembling. "Only those who are chosen by the higher beings... only the absolute 'Chosen Ones' possess the power of the cards! How the hell did you acquire that kind of power?!"
Srinivasulu slowly raised his head, the golden Tilakam on his forehead flaring with divine brilliance. He looked at the trembling game protagonist, a fierce, fearless smile spreading across his face.
"The real game begins right now, Ren!" Srinivasulu declared, his voice echoing with absolute authority. "my game begins !"
