(Maruto) SHADOW MASTER MARUTO EPISODE 3022

on the way to the playground, there’s a awesome café.

all the people there are super duper nice. they never lie to me, and they call me by my real name :D

what is my real name, you ask?

my name is Maruto Kuzumaki, and i have a dream, a dream to become the next Bokage. in japanese that means fifth rank shadow, which means i’ll be the highest ranking shadow master!

but before that, i have to train a whole lot because right now i’m only 1st rank anyway and i have to complete the missions that my masters send me on.

today, my big sister sent me on a mission! her name is dunadé, but she tells me not to call her that because she’s not an old lady but actually she is kind of like a mean old lady though but don’t tell her that though, because then she will give me a time-out :(

anyway, my mission is to get dunadé a potion from the eris dungeon. the potion in this world is called a “Double Caramel Macchiato with Whipped Cream and Double-Shot Vanilla”. i thought this mission was a little too high level, even for a main character like me, so i called my trusted friends they’re super cool!!! their names are MASUKE ruchiha and kakura raruno, but me and MASUKE are having some trouble right now.

“why should i come with you?”

“MASUKE, aren’t we a team?!” i cried out, holding my shirt near my heart to show how much her words crushed my heart.

“i never said i would team with you! you’re weak!!!”

“urk!!” I fell to my knees. she was right. MASUKE was 2nd rank, but I was only first rank. MASUKE was closer to becoming Bokage than I was!!! she was always strong and knew what to do. why was i so weak?

“you’re right, there’s no way you can do this mission by yourself.” MASUKE laughed all meany.

“wait, you’re not supposed to respond to my narration! It’s a mona-log so you’re supposed to pretend you can’t hear it!”

“who cares! hurry up and get to the part where i agree to help you so we can go there already.”

“okay, okay…” MASUKE could be a real BORING fellow sometimes.

ANYWAY, what i was SAYING was, i am very weak, but that’s cuz i have a shadow demon raging inside me that makes me weak. Once i can control the monster, i will be strong enough to be Bokage!!! only, neither me or my friends know this right now. it’s gonna be revealed in season 4.

but right now, my greatest strength is friendship-

“yeah, and your greatest weakness is talking slow.” kakura said.

anyway, I have to get MASUKE to come with me because when I’m with my friends, i can do anything!

“what about me?” kakura interrupted. “aren’t i your friend?”

“yes! but right now is me and MASUKE’s episode, so let me finish. you guys are the ones who say I talk slow!”

arguing with your friends is sad, but once you make up, your friendship is stronger than ever. it’s better to make up after saving your friends from horrible danger when you’re on the brick of death, but we don’t have time for that right now, so we’re going to skip to the part where MASUKE makes up with us.

“ok, i’ll make up with you on one condition.”

“what is it?”

“you have to let me keep some of the stuff from the dungeon.”

kakura and i gasped.

“BUT ONLY 3RD RANK SHADOW MASTERS AND HIGHER ARE ALLOWED TO DO THAT!!!” i shouted.

“and maruto’s sister only gave us $10!” kakura said.

“...”

“kakura means that we can only go into the dungeon cuz of the seal that my sister gave us, so if we use her seal but keep the potion for ourselves, it would be bad.” i explained.

“but we can just get two potions.” MASUKE said.

“hmm...i don’t know...is this seal strong enuf? it’ll be dangerous!”

“What do you mean? We just have to buy 2 drinks, and you give me one.”

ugh. MASUKE!!! you’re not supposed to say that! MASUKE could be a real dumdum sometimes.

“what I MEAN is, my sister will get mad at me >:(”

“if you don’t do it, then i’m not coming.”

sometimes a shadow master has to make sacrifices for the greater good.

“is it time for the theme song now?” kakura said in my ear. “that’s my favourite part!”

“yeah!” i said. Kakura wrote the song herself. it was pretty good.

so the three of us sang our theme song called “SUNLIGHT”:

WITH MASUKE, KAKURA AND MAAAARUUUUTOOOOO

OUR SHADOWS WILL PROTECT THE SUNNNLIIIGGGGHTTT!!!

“now let’s go!” MASUKE said. she was getting impatient. MASUKE is just a bundle of trouble isn’t she? but sometimes you need a friend like that to advance the plot. and she could be fun sometimes too i guess.

kakura called her dad who was sitting on a bench nearby. kakura’s parents say she’s not ready to go places alone, so her dad always comes with us everywhere. MASUKE and me are allowed through because our parents believe in us.

after a few minutes, kakura’s dad finally woke up, and the four of us rode towards the café on our horses.

a few minutes later, we arrived in front of café eris. kakura gasped.

“it can’t be!”

i saw it too. “CAFÉ ERIS HAS TURNED INTO DUNGEON ERIS!!!”

AWESOME plot twist right? Even though we already said we needed to get the potion from a dungeon. but now we have something to fight for. the potion was not a good enough goal. it didn’t have any passion. now we must fight to defeat the dungeon so that cafe eris goes back to normal.

when we went inside, we saw that all of the tables were super messy!!!

“A MAZE!!!” MASUKE screeched

“hey guys, sorry for the mess. we’re still cleaning up from the event yesterday someone said, but i didn’t see who it was cuz the dungeon is more important.

“our first test that the dungeon has given us!” kakura said super excited. MASUKE was already running through the tables.

“wait for us!!!” i said, running after her.

after a long journey, we conquered the lab-o-rith and finally reached the treasure chest.

“wait, where’s kakura?” MASUKE said.

we looked over and she was eating a hamburger in the bean bag place, and her dad was already sleeping.

“KAKURA NOOOOOOOOOOOO” i shed a single tear.

“KAKURA IS DEAD” MASUKE also shed a single tear. then we moved on.

“the guardian!!!” MASUKE hollered at the bald guy in front of us which was mr. Santa. mr. santa is just his name though, and he’s not the real santa, and he actually told us that he is but we know that the real santa would never reveal his name in public cuz then everyone would just find his house and rob all the presents even the naughty kids like MASUKE. but we pretend that he’s the real santa cuz we don’t want him to be sad even if he’s an imposter.

“mr. Santa! the usual please!” i said really politely. politeness is important for customer service.

“Maruto, we still do not have ramen on the menu, so-“

“NO the other usual!” i interrupted him. but the ramen business was not finished. i will need to have another stern discushion with him after my mission.

as for mr. santa went to get our potion,i remembered our seal.

“MASUKE, do you know how much our potion costs?”

“i thought you knew. you’re the one who gets it for your sister all the time.”

“good point.” i said.

but you see, whenever I give mr. sAnta the seal, he never gives me any gold coins back. that means one seal can only buy one potion. i patted my own back because i could be a real smart boy sometimes.

but then i stopped patting cuz i realized that we now had a big huge problem.

“i don’t think i can get another potion MASUKE…” i dropped my head really droopily. then i quickly looked up again to see if MASUKE was sad, or worse, mad. but MASUKE was not either of those things.

“that’s okay, i have a solution!!!” MASUKE gave a thumbs up in my face. MASUKE could be so dependable sometimes. only sometimes though!

after mr. Santa brought the “Double Caramel Macchiato with Whipped Cream and Double-Shot Vanilla” i gave him our seal and took the potion very carefully to a table. rhe potion was really tall so MASUKE had to hold it too a little bit.

after I put it down on the table, i said to MASUKE “what is your plan my buddy?” but my buddy was already carrying out her plan without even telling me!!! that’s not what buddies do!!! and you know what that crazy buddy did??? she! took! a! sip! of! my! potion!

she took a whole lot of sips!!!

“MASUKEEEEEEE!!!!!”

MASUKE just kept taking sips!!! can you believe this girl??? she basically drank half of that big potion!!!

“i’m done,” she said. and i was done too.

“MASUKE YOU TRAITOR!!! AND NOW I WILL NOT TALK TO YOU FOR A FEW EPISODES!!!”

i grabeed the potion from her and ran out of the dungeon which was now the café again. i said i wouldn’t talk for a few episodes but i meant a few days because i was really really super mad at her, but of course i had to say episodes to protect the integrity of our french-eyes.

Now it was time for our having-a-fight arc number 37. that will start next episode cuz this is the end of this episode.
