Volume 1 — Chapter 1: The Beginning of the Story Part 1 — The Two Stars

Sometimes fate brings people together who would never have met under other circumstances.

This happened to two twelve—year-old girls, Airi Mizuhara and Rina Tachibana.

They went to the same school, but they hardly talked.

Airi Mizuhara was famous for its school swimming club.

 She was energetic, brave and purposeful and spent most of her free time at the pool.

— I will definitely become the best swimmer of the school! — Airi often said.

She loved competitions and was never afraid of difficulties.

Rina Tachibana was completely different.

Rina was a member of the chemistry club and was one of the most talented students.

 She was particularly interested in experiments, unusual reactions, and mysterious phenomena.

— If you understand the reason, any phenomenon can be explained, — Rina confidently said.

Despite the fact that Airi and Rina went to the same school, their worlds practically did not intersect.

One was spending time in the pool.

The other is in the laboratory of the chemical club.

They didn't even suspect that their fates would change very soon.

A strange phenomenon

One evening, an unusual phenomenon occurred over the city.

The sky suddenly became brighter.
Airi, who was at home, went to the window.

- what is it?.. — She said in surprise.

Two unusual stars appeared in the sky.

They shone much brighter than the others.

Airi looked at them carefully.

—That's strange... I've never seen such stars before.

At the same time, Rina was at home and also noticed an unusual glow.

She went to the window and looked carefully at the sky.

—Two stars?".. But why are they glowing so brightly?

Suddenly, something incredible happened.

Both stars began to move.

— Eh?!

Airi retreated from the window in fright.

"Are they falling?"

Rina also noticed the movement.

— It doesn't look like an ordinary meteorite...

The two stars began to rapidly approach the earth.

But instead of falling in one place, they split up.

One went to Airi's house.

The second one goes to Rina's house.

— Ah, ah!

The flash!

Bright light filled Airi's room.

She closed her eyes in fright.

After a few seconds, everything went quiet.

Airi cautiously opened her eyes.

— Is it over?..

There was no damage in the room.

Only in the middle of the room there was a small strange object.

"What is it?"

Airi came closer.

In front of her was a device that looked like a small toy phone.

There was a shining heart-shaped symbol on its body.

—The phone?".. But it looks like a toy.

Airi carefully picked it up.

Suddenly, the screen lit up.

—What?"

She jerked her hand away in fright.

"It just lit up!"

A small logo appeared on the screen.

Airi stared at her for a few seconds.

— Maybe it's some kind of new gadget?
She pressed the button carefully.

Pee-I-I...

— Ah!

Airi immediately released the device.

— no! I won't press anything else!
But the phone continued to glow.

Another house

Meanwhile, almost the same thing happened in Rina's room.

After a bright flash, she saw a small toy phone on the floor.

- what?..

Rina carefully picked up the device.

She examined him carefully from all sides.

— It really looks like a phone. But I've never seen such a model.

There was a similar heart symbol on the case.

—Interesting."..

Rina pressed the button.

The screen lit up.

Rina looked at him in surprise.

"It responds to touch."

An unusual sign appeared on the screen.

— This is not an ordinary phone.
She thought about it.

"Then what is it?"

Suddenly, the device made a soft sound.
Pi-I...

Rina shuddered.

— Eh?!

She put the phone on the table.

— Okay. I'd rather not touch it yet.
But the phone continued to glow.

The one who seeks the stones of power 

At the same time, far from the girls' homes, there was a mysterious man in a dark place.

He was watching the sky through a large window.

A cold smile appeared on his face.

— Finally... they appeared.

In front of him was an ancient drawing depicting power stones.

These stones were associated with tremendous energy.

If their power falls into good hands, it can bring balance and save the world from destruction.

But if the stones end up in the hands of someone who wants destruction, their energy can turn the world into chaos and completely destroy it.

The mysterious man slowly extended his hand towards the image.

"I'll find all the power stones.

He clenched his fist.

"And when I have their power, this world won't be the same anymore."

He looked towards the sky.

— Two stars have already chosen their carriers...

His smile grew colder.

"So I'll have to find them before they know the truth."

Two favorites

That night, Airi and Rina couldn't sleep for a long time.

They didn't know where these strange devices came from.

They didn't know why the two stars had come to them.

And most importantly, they didn't know about each other yet.

However, these two toy phones were not ordinary devices.

There was a special power hidden inside each of them.

These were Miracle Phones— devices capable of awakening the power of their owners and turning them into Miracle Hearts warriors.

But the girls didn't even know about it yet.

Airi was lying on the bed and looking at her phone.

— Why did I get it?..

In another house, Rina was also looking at her device.

— Who created it?.. And why would I need it?

Meanwhile, the mysterious man continued to search for traces of the power stones.

— Stones can save the world...

He paused and grinned.

— ...or destroy it.

And the two girls didn't even know that their first meeting was already close.

They were completely different.

One was the star of the swimming club.

The other was a chemical club star.

They never thought they would become friends.

But now their paths began to converge.

And with them, an ancient force has awakened, capable of changing the fate of the entire world.

This was just the beginning of the Miracle Hearts story.
