A soak in some fine sneakers

Both Mimoko and Svetlana blushed as they laid in a hot spring with their feet propped up on rocks and clad in nothing but their trademark sneakers and color-coded bikinis and towels wrapped around their heads.

"Why are we doing this," Svetlana mumbled.

"For a billboard ad," Mimoko smiled as a staffer sent a chessboard floating over to the two. "Any preference on opening?" she called out.

"Amazon Attack, then play whatever you want," the staffer called out.

"Want to see us moving the queens then. Alright," Mimoko smiled as she opened the game by moving her pawn to d4.

"Amazon... Never heard of that opening," Svetlana mumbled.

"D4, d5, queen d3, but I think they want you to add in queen d6."

Svetlana nodded and moved her pawn to d5. Mimoko then grabbed her queen and held it to her lips for the camera before moving it to d3. Svetlana did the same with her queen before moving it to d6.

Now given free-reign, the two moved their knights out to c3 and f6, respectively. Mimoko then moved her pawn to e4, prompting Svetlana to capture it with her d-pawn. The trade at e4 continued with the knight capturing the pawn, then the knight capturing the knight, and finally, the queen capturing the knight.

Svetlana attempted to keep things going by moving her knight to c6, but Mimoko threw cold water on the trading floor by moving her pawn to c3. Svetlana didn't relent though and moved her pawn to e5.

"Don't be so eager to trade," Mimoko chuckled as she gave the water a gentle flick with her hand before moving her bishop to f4.

"You just... No, shit!" Svetlana fumed as she moved her bishop to e7.

"Ironically, you get to trade pieces again," Mimoko huffed as she captured the pawn at e5 with her d-pawn.

"Now I don't wanna," Svetlana groaned as she moved her queen to e6.

"Then move that queen," Mimoko smiled as she moved her bishop to c4.

"Fine, I'll try and keep her on the board for as long as I can," Svetlana grimaced as she moved her queen to g4.

"Hmm, normally I'd be upset, but I guess this is for fun, so lets see how many moves it takes for me to capture your queen," Mimoko giggled as she moved her pawn to h3.

"Going to put a number down?" Svetlana asked as she moved her queen to h5.

"Mm... six moves," Mimoko shrugged as she moved her pawn to e6.

"And if it's more or less?" Svetlana scoffed as she captured the pawn at e6 with her bishop.

"I'll do a little dance," Mimoko smirked as she captured the bishop at e6 with her bishop.

As Svetlana captured said bishop with her f-pawn and Mimoko captured said pawn with her queen, some monkeys waddled over and hopped in the water. Neither the staffers nor players paid them much heed though.

As Svetlana moved her knight to d8, a staffer floated ove a heart-shaped box full of heart-shaped chocolates. Mimoko quickly grabbed one and pressed it to her lips before moving her queen to b3 and eating the chocolate. Svetlana did the same thing with the chocolate before moving her queen to f5.

The box and chocolates then floated to the monkeys who began chattering as they ate, while the players remained focused on the game with Mimoko moving her bishop to g3 and Svetlana mover rook to f8.

Mimoko then glanced up to notice the monkeys, but refocused a second later back on the game to move her knight to e2. Svetlana, on the other hand got a bit distracted, leading to her moving her bishop to d6.

"Looks like the heat is getting to you," Mimoko giggled as she castled king's side.

"What do you mean?" Svetlana grumbled as she captured the bishop at g3 with her bishop.

"Well, I guess I'm dancing," Mimoko shrugged as she captured the bishop at g3 with her knight.

"Oh right, the queen's still here. Heh," Svetlana smirked as she moved her queen to f6.

"That she is. Check," Mimoko smiled as she moved her f-rook to e1.

Svetlana grimaced as she moved her knight to e6, but quickly let out a groan as Mimoko checked her again by capturing the knight at e6 with her rook.

"And now, your queen is off the board," Mimoko huffed.

"Ugh, fine. You win," Svetlana groaned as she captured the rook at e6 with her queen.

"I'll take that check then," Mimoko smiled as she captured the queen at e6 with her queen.

As Svetlana was forced to move her king to d8, the monkeys slowly began paddling up next to her.

"Checkmate. Seems like it's the rook getting all the glory this time," Mimoko laughed as she moved her rook to d1, winning the game.

"What's so funny- GAH!" Svetlana cried as the monkeys ripped off her bra top. "You little shits!" she fumed as she covered up her breasts with one arm and grabbed her sledgehammer with the other.

As she chased the monkeys around, Mimoko got out and did a cute little dance. "Happy Valentines Day, everybody," she smiled.

...

"Those damn monkeys," Svetlana groaned as she ate some ice cream with Mimoko.

Now fully clothed, the two had decided to get some ice cream to cool off.

"I think one of the monkeys had no fur. Wonder if it was the one Iori-chan shaved back then," Mimoko mumbled.

"Your friend shaved a monkey?"

"Yeah, and filmed while we were completely nude in the hot spring."

Svetlana's nose began to bleed.

"Svetlana-chan?"

"Ah, just need more ice cream," Svetlana stuttered as she shoved her ice cream into her nose.

Mimoko burst into laughter.
