“But still, meow... that kind of magic is way too terrifying, meow... It didn’t just blow up the dragon—it shattered the whole cave! And even the mountain...!”

Tanimaki stood rooted to the spot, trembling from head to toe.

“What are we going to do? Debiru won’t wake up...”

Even after Mashu tried every resuscitation technique she knew, Debiru didn’t so much as twitch.

Then Tanimaki suddenly snapped out of it.

“The time has come to show you the massage techniques Tark taught me, meow...”

He paused for a breath, his eyes flashing dramatically, then cried out at the top of his lungs.

“Behold the power of these divinely chosen paw pads, meow!”

Mayutan and Mashu swallowed hard, their faces solemn.

As the two watched, Tanimaki deftly worked both front paws over Debiru’s body, applying pressure in a steady rhythm.

“A masseur’s heart is a cat’s heart, meow.”

With those words, a faint healing energy surged from Tanimaki’s paw pads.

“A masseur’s heart is a cat’s heart...”

Before they knew it, Mayutan and Mashu joined in, repeating the phrase after Tanimaki.

“Ugh...”

Debiru slowly cracked his eyes open.

“He’s conscious!”

Mayutan cried out in excitement, his eyebrows waggling wildly.

“Amazing...!”

Mashu couldn’t help exclaiming in awe.

“...Th-the dragon...?”

Debiru asked anxiously.

“You defeated it with your Climax Series. And Tanimaki brought you back around,” Mayutan said with a smile.
