Chapter 1 The Girl with the Light Green Hair.

Esterworth...a vast world...filled with countless beautiful kingdoms...cities...forests...and places...but of course...there are also dragons...orcs...and monsters here as well...In this world...there are the Magi...who are also called Alchemists...or Arcanes!... However...here they are simply called Arcanes...And then there are the Ten Witches...who brought chaos for a very long time...Yet one of them... is considered the worst of them all... also known as the Witch of Wrath...Echidna...According to the stories...she has black and white hair...She is said to be so incredibly powerful that she once destroyed an entire kingdom within a single hour...She also...sealed away...the other witches...For four hundred years...people have tried to kill her!... But it is impossible because she is immortal...Even if someone kills her...she simply comes back to life...However...for many years now...she has withdrawn from the world...No one knows what happened to her...In Esterworth...people believe she is still alive...but has disappeared from civilization...Anyway...there is a famous university in the Kingdom of Rossetta!... The university is called Ash House...and it is where people study to become Magi...And that is exactly where the young lady...Daisy Carlotta Martinez...wants to enroll.

Daisy: "The time has finally come."

She boarded a train. She got off.

Daisy: "So...this must be the door..."

It really was nothing more than a single door...standing in the middle of nowhere...She knocked on it. It opened.

Daisy: "...Mm...(Gulp!)"

She stepped inside...and suddenly she fell into a black and white vortex.

Daisy: "Aaaaaaarghhhhhhh...."

(Woosh!)

There she was...but...she was...in the air.

Daisy: "Woow...woow...woow...wooowww!...What am I supposed to do now..."

She took out a staff and used it to make the plants catch her.

(Crash!)

Daisy: "Ouch..."

She groaned and stood up.

Daisy: "...Ugh. So this is it...the forest...this is the famous forest...the Schwarzwald..."

Daisy stood before the great forest...the Schwarzwald...

Daisy: "Hmm."

She walked out.

Daisy: "Hmmm?"

She stepped back in.

(Splash!)

A plant swallowed her whole.

Daisy: "Aaaarghhh...help...help...help...argghhhh...aaaaaaaaaarghhhhh.."

(Beep)

(Please wait a moment)

Daisy: "Wuhh...that was close...It spat me back out...Woow...well then...I'll keep going."

She continued walking.

Owl: "Hooooo...hooooo..."

Daisy: "Hello, Owl."

Owl: "Hello."

Daisy: "Hehe...Huh?!...Wait...."

(Silence)

Daisy: "The owl can taaaaaaaaaaaaaalkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!"

Owl: "Of course. In the Schwarzwald every animal can speak, dear young lady."

Daisy: "Oh...really?"

Owl: "(Sweats) Didn't you read the book?"

Daisy: "(Sweats)...Um...what book?"

(Silence)

Owl: "(Sweats)...Are you seriously entering the Schwarzwald...without even knowing what this place isssssss!!!!"

He shouted at her.

Daisy: "(Sweats)...Huh?"

The owl coughed briefly.

Owl: "Ahem...one moment...Very well...I'll explain it to you...The Schwarzwald is..."

Daisy: "(Cough!)...(Cough)."

Owl: "(Silence)"

Daisy: "Sorry...you can continue."

Owl: "Very well...This forest...is a magical forest...To reach Violet Mana you must pass through this forest...but be careful...there is only one correct path...and you must find it...The other paths can be dangerous...so be caref..."

Daisy: "(Snoring)...(Snoring)...(Snoring)..."

She had fallen asleep.

Owl: "(Sweats)...Hooooooooo!!...This girl is driving me absolutely crazy...Hooooooooo!!!!!...You know what...have fun surviving on your own if that's your attitude..."

He flew away.

Daisy: "(Snoring)...(Snoring)....(Snoring)....Huh...what...where...who...No, I'm not pregnant?... Huh?"

She woke up...Whatever she had been dreaming about no longer mattered to her.

Daisy: "Oh...where did the owl go?... He said I have to follow...a path...but what path..."

She had actually been listening.

Daisy: "Hmm..."

She stood up.

Daisy: "...Oh..."

She walked deeper into the forest...deeper and deeper into the woods.

Daisy: "Hmm...(Sweats)...Where am I supposed to go?"

(Rustle!) (Rustle!)

Daisy: "Hhiii!!"

She heard something and quickly hid.

Daisy: "Oh no...what could that have been....Hiii."

A hand touched her.

Daisy: "Hhhhhhhhhhhhiii!"

She turned around.

Daisy: "Ugh..."

It was a girl.

Daisy: "Ughh...Oh...Hello...Um...hello...."

Lilly: "Lilly...that's my name..."

Daisy: "Oh...."

Lilly: "Let me guess. You're also on your way to the university?"

Daisy: "Huh!"

She nodded enthusiastically.

Daisy: "Yes...yes...yes...yes..."

The girl gestured with her head.

Lilly: "Then come with me. I've read the Schwarzwald Labyrinth book many times. I can help you...but you'll have to give me something in return."

Daisy: "What...(Please don't say a kiss or something)..."

By the way...Lilly is a Half Elf...She has Green hair and long ears like an elf...Elves are incredibly kind beings...at least...the Night Elves are...which Lilly is.

Lilly: "So...come with me."

Daisy: "What...about the coin?"

Lilly: "Once we get there...you can buy me something."

They continued walking. Daisy followed her...Of course she was curious...but she had to follow her. Even though she wanted to explore what the forest looked like...she could investigate it later...Daisy had light green hair...a purple shirt...and a black coat...Lilly wore a white off-shoulder shirt and a brown coat.

Lilly: "We need to go past the place where the giant sunflower is...so be careful."

Daisy: "Wow...you really know this place well."

Lilly: "Of course I do."

They continued walking.

Daisy: "Hmm...?"

They kept walking.

Mushroom: "Boo...booo...boo!"

Daisy: "Oh...that mushroom over there."

Lilly: "That's a Boo Mushroom. They always say boo..."

They continued walking. The forest was...quieter than she had expected...Maybe because it wasn't nighttime?

Daisy: "Huh?"

Lilly: "...Watch out for the roots."

(Crash!)

Daisy: "Yeah...thanks for the warning...I noticed that too."

She said while lying on the ground.

Lilly: "Hahh...Tell me...what exactly do you do?"

Daisy: "Huh?"

Lilly: "I mean...why are you carrying a lantern...and...what exactly is your specialty?"

Daisy: "You mean...as a hobby?...Well...I'm an Arcane who specializes in nature and lanterns. My Magi is Lantern Magi along with Nature."

Lilly: "Lantern Magi?...I've heard about that before..."

Daisy: "Oh..."

Lilly: "People say...it's kind of strange....The lanterns make invisible hands appear...is that true?"

Daisy: "You mean the Dark Hands?... I don't know. It hasn't happened yet...But Lantern Magi allows spirits to appear...I need that for my Contract Spirit...I'm sure we'll need it at school."

Lilly said nothing...Rare abilities and Magi certainly exist...They are something people are born with...Arcanes are born with their abilities...Now then...Daisy comes from the Kingdom of Recolleta...which is quite far from here...It is a small kingdom and one of the few kingdoms where only twenty percent of the population are ordinary humans. The rest are Arcanes...Arcanes are not very common, though...They make up only eight percent out of two billion people...Of course...the difference between an Arcane and a Mage is simple...Arcanes are born with their powers...Mages learn theirs through study...Both are practical...The only problem is that an Arcane cannot learn new Magi...while Mages can learn many more...but they live shorter lives...Arcanes did not simply come into existence...They were created because of the curses of the witches...Lilly wondered what kind of curse Daisy possessed.

Daisy: "Hmm."

They continued walking.

Lilly: "We're here."

Daisy: "Huh?...H...Aaaahhhhhh...."

It truly was a floating kingdom...built with machines...a mixture of the Victorian era...the Middle Ages...and advanced machinery. Well, Rossetta is a Great Kingdom and a safe kingdom; many magicians...arkanen ...do live here, so it is great.

Lilly: "Hmm."

Daisy: "Woow...and...how are we supposed to get up there?"

Lilly: "Jump onto those."

Daisy: "Onto what...Huh?!"

There were giant floating leaves.

Lilly: "Take my advice and jump from one to the next carefully. If you fall...things will get ugly."

She jumped across.

Daisy: "Wow."

She jumped as well.

Daisy: "Aargh...that was close."

She jumped from one leaf to another.

Lilly: "Ugh...Great. Hmm?"

Daisy: "Mm."

She made the final jump and barely managed to reach it.

Lilly: "Now...onto...that one."

It was a hook hanging from a rail...There was nothing below to catch them.

Daisy: "Hooooh!!"

Lilly jumped onto it and continued onward...Daisy swallowed nervously and did the same.

Daisy: "Wooooooooowwwwww..."

(Lands)

Lilly: "Huh."

(Crash!)

Daisy: "Uhhb!"

She landed face first.

Daisy: "Oww...."

Lilly: "All right...now we have to go in there."

It was a telephone booth...She knocked on it...As soon as it opened...a hand with a single eye emerged.

Hand: "Well, well...two new students...Welcome to Rossetta, ladies....Welcome to Ash House University."

Daisy: "Wooow.."

Lilly: "Ugh."

He pulled them inside, and then they came out somewhere else.

(Swoosh!)

Daisy: "Huh."

Lilly: "Mm!"

They both landed on the ground on their backsides.

Daisy: "Ouch.."

Lilly: "Mm...ugh."

Daisy: "Woooooowwww!"

Ash House University was an enormous building with several towering spires...and beneath them...a massive structure shaped like a grand hat. And here it will Be A great Time in A great Journey in a very nice, peaceful... place, but still...it is ..a University which means work alot Of Work
