I Here But Am I Really There

I am watching and I can see

But my limbs feel unable to cease

I am frozen and shaken

Nothing I can do with help them

All I do is stare

That is all I can do

My 2 best friends, standing there

Yelling out to their hearts content

And then there is me just there

Watching and waiting for things to change

They don't but my body can't move

I want to help I really do

But with a body like mine all stiff and frozen

Choosing wrong always, I stare with despair
