Flirting with Yuzuha

As club activities for the day began, Mimoko found herself watching a game between Yuzuha and one of the nerds from the computer club. The game began with Yuzuha moving her pawn to d4 and the nerd moving his pawn to b5.

"I've seen chess played on the computer, nerher. I know how to beat all you losers," the nerd cackled as Yuzuha moved her pawn to e4.

"You do know we are kind of specialists-"

"SILENCE! Computers rule all, and it's computers that are the best at chess in the world!" the nerd cackled as he moved his pawn to f5.

"But, you're not a computer?" Yuzuha frowned as she captured the pawn at f5 with her e-pawn.

"One who immerses themself in computers becomes a computer," the nerd clapped back as he moved his pawn to g6.

"Does that make you play like a computer?" Mimoko asked as she walked over.

"Yes it does!" the nerd huffed as Yuzuha captured the pawn at g6 with her f-pawn.

"Prove it."

The nerd let out another huff as he moved his pawn to h6.

"Not convincing me," Mimoko scowled as Yuzuha moved her queen to h5.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand how a computer thinks," the nerd spat as he moved his knight to c6.

"Um, checkmate," Yuzuha mumbled as she moved her pawn to g7, winning the game.

"WHAT!? I've been beaten!? You, ah, you must be smarter than a computer. As a spoil, you may have me as your husband-"

"No."

The nerd crumpled to the floor pale as a sheet.

"Just so you know, I don't take kindly to folks coming here to flirt with members even if they challenge them to chess. That said, you at least played a game. Now since you lost, get out. If your interest in chess persists, consult with Maida-sensei about joining," Mimoko growled as some boys dragged the nerd out.

"So he was throwing just to try to get me to date him?" Yuzuha sighed.

"Likely, but you did well spotting things," Mimoko smiled.

Yuzuha wearily smiled and nodded.

"Now, to silence the rumors about Tanabe-kun," Mimoko thought as she turned towards Okisato.
