Afterword

Hey there, SamishiiShi here.

I usually don't like to write afterwords for my stories, I prefer letting the story speak for itself without me having to say a word, but this time I wanted to say some things, although I will try to keep it brief.

First of all, thank you for reading The Door To A Bittersweet Ending! This is the first story I ever published online, and it is my first serious attempt at writing a novel (I started one back in the days, but I haven't worked on it since a lot of time. Since then, i just wrote short stories, hence why I called this my first serious attempt). I hope you enjoyed what you read, because I really enjoyed writing this story.

Secondly... well, there really is nothing else to say, really. I could go on and talk about the genesis of this story, or what I really wanted to say with it, but I prefer to leave those things to the reader: after all, isn't it funny to try and find for yourself a message in what you just read? As I stated at the start, I prefer to let the story speak for itself, without adding anything to what someone can understand from its pages.

It is really obvious that I don't like afterwords, uh?

Well... let's conclude it here, then, shall we? Once again, thank you for reading my novel and giving it a chance. Maybe we will see around, if I decide to publish another novel online or if I decide to continue this story (because, yeah, this book was thought to be like the first volume of a light novel, even though it can be considered also a sort of self-contained story).
