Nyakimoto screamed as he unleashed his spell—but it bounced right back at him, putting him to sleep instead.

“That won’t work... While Sexy Mode is active, I can reflect any magic back at whoever casts it. It doesn’t work against someone who’s really powerful—but apparently, it worked on you.”

Debiru said smugly and tried to sweep back his hair—but he had no hair to sweep back.

The Maine Coons panicked and fled in every direction.

A moment later, Debiru Sexy Mode ended.

“Nyakimoto probably won’t wake up for a while. While we have the chance, I’ll use the memory-erasing device I developed to wipe his memories of the Climax Series. We’ll catch those Maine Coons who ran away later and erase their memories too. Once that’s done, we’ll get the other cats and escape from this place.”

At last, a look of relief appeared on Mayutan’s face.

“No, meow!”

Tanimaki cried out as if forcing the words from deep inside himself.

“What’s wrong, Tanimaki?”

Mayutan peered into Tanimaki’s face with concern.

“I... I... For the first time in my whole life... someone believed in me, meow...”

Huge tears spilled from Tanimaki’s eyes.

“I... I want to be an idol, meow...”

Tanimaki crouched down where he stood, his shoulders trembling as he sobbed.

“But Tanimaki... we believe in you more than anyone.”

Debiru gently moved closer and softly rubbed Tanimaki’s small back.

For the first time in his life, Tanimaki understood just how precious friends truly were.
