Chapter 5

It’s been a few months since Hendrix started to work for me, and it’s been the best months of my life. It made me realize that I loved him so much more than I thought. I want to hold him, I want to tell him how much he means to me, I want to kiss him. I’ve had enough, I decided that I’ll confess to him tonight, I know that this might be the end but I don’t care anymore.

It was before the sun went down, he was standing on the balcony next to me, there was a small wind blowing. 

-hey Hendrix, i got something to tell you.

-Whatsup Ori? He asked with a curious face.

-I know what I’m about to say may ruin everything but, I-

Before I could finish, we both heard an explosion from the Castel walls. Hendrix took my hand and ran out of the room, guards came to join us. « Get the king to a safe place! ». Intruders, real ones this time. Hendrix was at the back of our group holding off the intruders from attacking, he looked tired. Who could’ve made him so tired? He litteraly beat a dragon In the past. Suddenly we entered a room filled with other intruders, it was a trap. My guards were holding them off while I was in the middle, confused on what to do. That’s when I heard arrows being shot towards me. I closed my eyes but felt nothing, when I opened them, I saw Hendrix. He was standing in front of me, protecting me from the arrows. Blood started trickling on the ground, he fell down. 

-Hendrix!! Why did you do this, hold on I’ll get someone to help.

-Just shut up and stay with me until it stops hurting. He mumbled.

-what do you mean!? You’re not dying here, I promise.

He smiled gently.

-Can you finish what you were about to say earlier?

Tears started flowing on my cheeks. 

-I am in love with you. I have been since forever.

He looked surprised but pleased at the same time. He held my cheek, got closer to my face and kissed my lips.

-I love you too. He wispered with a gentle voice.

-Thank you for loving me Ori. He added 

And this is when I knew, my world just ended in my arms.
