The Good Doctor

// The girls arrive at the so-called clinic of the “Doctor” to find Aikiko treating a patient. The doctor is unaware of the girl’s new knowledge.

Aikiko speaking to the patient: It was a deep wound, I’ve cleaned it out the best I could, and the stitches should hold. Just make sure you take the antibiotics for the infection this time.

Patient: Thank you Doc! I will, I owe you!

Aikiko smiles: And no more fighting.

//Mika finally arrives at the clinic and Aiya nods her head in the direction of the Doctor’s office. She wants him to look through her computer to see if he can find anything.

//After finishing with her patient, Aikiko turns to see Aiya and Hana.

Aikiko: Well hello ladies, what brings you here … wait!

Aikiko looking concerned: are you injuried?

//She grabs Aiya’s arms to check them for cuts and then checks Hana’s head and arms

Aiya whispers: This is going to be harder than I thought. I thought I’d be more upset but seeing her genuine concern I now understand. It’s just her nature to heal all in need.

Aikiko: Thank goodness you okay

//Hana starts to draw out her stick…

Hana whispers to Aiya: I still say we kick her butt…

Aiya nudges Hana with an elbow to her side: Really! Put that away.

//Just then the Naomi comes running into the room

Naomi: Mommy, come quick, it’s Billy. I think he’s hurt his leg.

//The three woman run outside and find Billy hobbling toward them. Aiya grabs the boy and carries him inside the clinic. Aikiko immediately starts to attend to the boy.

//After a while, Aikiko emerges from the treatment room. She goes to speak with the parents. Aiya and Hana listen in with their backs turned so they wouldn’t notice them eavesdropping.

Aikiko: It was a clean break, but I’ve been able to reset his leg without operating on it. He’ll be in a cast for a couples of weeks but should recover just fine without any permanent damage.

Boy’s Mother bows: Thank you so much Doctor. We are truly indebted to you.

Aiya whispers to Hana: Let’s go, we should let the good doctor tend to her people. Besides, I think Mika may have found something.

//The girls and sneak out of the clinic while the Aikiko is still talking to the parents. Mika is outside waiting for them. As the three of them leave, they run into the Naomi.

Naomi: Are you all leaving so soon?

//Aiya get down on one knee to speak with the Naomi.

Aiya: Yes, and don’t worry about your friend I heard your mom say he will be just fine. (Aiya hugs Naomi) Promise me you’ll be strong and look after your mom, keep her safe.

//Naomi salutes Aiya

Naomi: Yes Ma’am! I’ll make it my sworn duty to protect her! And I’ll make sure Billy doesn’t jump out of a second-floor windows into a dumpster anymore. He said he saw two women do it the other night right before the explosion and thought it would be cool to do it also.

//Aiya and Hana look at each other and cringe in embarrassment. Hana quickly grabs Aiya.

Hana: I think this is enough chit chat for now, let’s get out of here before we do anymore damage!

//The group heads out with the new information that Mika was able to find. Aikiko apparently keeps a record of all her so-called house calls and one of them stood out on the night of Diachi’s (Dad’s) fateful night.

Aiya: We are going to have to be very careful with this case, especially since we don’t know how many Royals are involved. Not many people have the guts to mess with the Royals, for fear of retribution from the Simetra,.

//Aiya and Mika all sudden hear a low pitch humming for the back of the vehicle and look back at Hana.

Aiya: Hana? What are you doing?

Hana: I’m trying to focus and stay calm… (voice raised) so I don’t beat the ever-living poop out of you for getting me mixed up in this… Royals, Simetra, really? (even louder) We are going to die for sure!

Aiya: Nice Attit….

Hana: Shut Up! (in a harmonic voice) I’m focusing here… (whispers) on not killing you! Hummmm!
