Chapter 1 - Where it all started

"The sun is shining bright, the wind blows swaying the branches of trees, and the river flows so fast as the fishes swims.
Deep in the forest I was there!"

"I was gathering woods as always to take home, picking only the small and medium ones as it's the only one that my small hands can take!
Despite being small I always carried a small knife with me to use it whenever I need it in the forest.

I take my time as I gather woods to also run and play around, as I feel the cold and refreshing wind blowing.

As my hands are already full, it was time to go home, my cheerful mind got suddenly replaced by worries as I'm walking.

I can already see my house from a distance, as I get closer I'm starting hear the two of them with their loud mouths.

I just walk passed by them like I was not hearing anything, I just tried to ignore them.
This happens almost everyday!
I placed the woods inside a big wooden box
Then after that, I have to go the forest again to get some more!

**My tummy hurts and make a wierd sound at the same time**
I'm hungry.

I looked around and saw a half piece of bread in the table, my tiny hands tried to reach those bread
Ea..eat!

My hands suddenly got slapped by her strong big hands, with her angry and scary face
『 That's mine 』

So....Sorry

I quietly left home to gather more woods.

As I walk around the forest, I found myself near a farm whos own by a farm lady who lives there. They're growing different kinds of fruits and vegetables there.

Beyond the fences, are tons of huge apple trees.
Fresh and delicious apples!
My stomach growls much louder than before!

Apples
I wanna eat apples

I decided to pick some dozens knowing it's wrong and I might got caught
I quickly climb over the fence and ran immediately at one of the trees.

I tried to climb but I keep falling.....
(I'm not really good at climbing)
I picked a long wooden pole I found in the grassfield and used a short rope to tie it up with my knife
And I used it to get the apples from the branches of the tree.

**A loud shout**
HEY LITTLE LADY WHAT DO U THINK YOUR DOING?!!!!

I was startled by such loud noise!!
It was the lady farmer!!
I quicly ran away from her and climb over the fence to escape!

Good thing she didn't caught up with me!
I manage to get 2 apples with me!
I quickly sat under a tree to shed myself in the heat of the sun!

I'm sorry
*apoligizing to the farmer lady*

Then I started to eat
I was smiling while eating!
I enjoyed every bite!
With little tears in my eyes!
And I cherish this moment I rarely experience!

Thank you for the food!

After eating I continue gathering woods to take home, this time I found myself near our town school.

I took a peak inside one of the classrooms.
I saw my fellow children learning many things I wish I could learn too, they're wearing cool school clothes and they're writing in the papers with pencils.

***I felt a little evny to them***

****Bells rings loudly****

I quickly hide myself near bush and wait for them to all go home.

I spend the rest of the day wandering around the woods and playing!

Time passed
It was almost night already.

I decided to went home
Bringing several woods with me.

As I arrived it was so quiet, I don't hear single sound, they're must not home yet!
I put again the woods I gathered to the large box!.

I waited at the table until they come home.
This happened everytime!
They're always late, and I'll just always found out they're already at home when I woke up.

A little while I fell asleep....

Morning comes, I woke up
But it was strange there's still no one here except me
I look around but found no one
They must have left again early.

I spent again the rest of my day alone in the woods.

10 hours has passed....
The day has come to an end again.

But it's strange there's still no one home yet again.

Still many days had passed no one is coming home
I was always alone in the house.

I panick a little....

Did..they...abandon me?!
Am I alone now all by myself?!

I looked around the house again.

But still I found no one.

At that moment I realized that they're not coming back anymore.

Is this the end for me?
Am I just gonna die alone?
What should I do?

Despite the situation, I can't seem to show emotion that could bring me tears.

Why?

Is it because I was always alone from the beginning.
And this is my fate ever since I came to this world.

I still want to eat more delicious foods I never taste before!
There still many things I want to see and experience in this wide world!
I still have many dreams to fulfill.

I can't give up now!
I have to be strong and live on my own!

This thing called fate can't just decide on its own.

Today from now on, I'll decide my future.
