Chapter 2 - A New Beginning

Ever since that night, I tried to survive on my own.
I tried fishing in the river, stealing from others, and even ask foods from strangers, and many other things that would help me survive.

For a certain reason, I didn't last long in our house, and I needed to flee after the people my parents indebted to, decided to tried to take the house all by themselves,
which forced me to live in another place and which led me to the town, I found a demolished stone house and decided to live there for a while.

Years had passed, I've tried many different kinds of jobs, luckily I got hired as a maid by a noble family, after I saved their son from drowning in the river.

I've became their son's personal maid, which make their son my master, not for long, I made my first friend, since his just 1 year older than me.

His name is "Louise"
He teaches me how to read and write, he even invites me in his sword classes.
We were living a pleasant life, not until that night.
An assasin enters the mansion and tried to assasinate the noble family, luckily the assasination failed.

Louise and his family decided to move in the capital which where they would be much safe, I was left alone in the town and I tried to find another new job.

With the little money I had I rented an inn.

I had to start all over again!

8 years had passed............

I was a fully grown kid now, I had a proper job now, a nice place to sleep, and I can eat proper foods.

I still can't believe I made it all by myself here ever since I was abandoned by parents
but still I felt empty, I want to travel the world, discover more things, and meet more amazing people, I wonder how is "" doing, its been already years.

It was a sunny day, I was at work as always,
There I was working with a girl named "Elsa"
『 So hot 』

It was so hot and boring that day which make me want just want to left work and cool off in the river, Elsa and I where just talking at each to other to fight our boredom when we accidently heard two people talking!

『 Are you sure you're gonna be okay? 』

『 Don't worry about me mother! 』
『 I'll manage by myself』
『 Remember I graduated from the adventurers school 』

『 Ahh!! I wish I could go to the capital too 』
『 I wanna experience new things too 』
Elsa said......

What are they talking about?
I asked Elsa...

『 That boy is planning to be a adventurer 』
『 His going to the capital to register in the guild so he can start taking quests 』

Adventurer? Guild? Quests?
Those words got my interest

Make I could be a adventurer too

『 Hey, are you still listening? 』

That's it! I know what am I supposed to do

After work, I started to get prepared for my journey to the capital to become a adventurer myself.

I'm planning to left tommorow.

I deeply think about it before going to bed
Can I really do this?
Am I really prepared to be a adventurer?
What if I die?

It's time to used all the things that I learned
from surviving all by myself.
I still remember all the sword classes I took with Louise, she never beat me even once in a duel, and beside I've been learning it for years!

After a while I fell asleep

The next day....

I woke up early to start my journey
So it's already time!
There's no turning back now!

I already told Elsa and to the place where I work about my journey.
And they give me a good farewell.

I took I deep breath...
