Chapter 2:
The director of the magic school is the new student, Susie Liam
I gazed out at the pitch-black sea from the sign. The eldest daughter of the Liam family, heiress to a ducal family and owner of a global corporation. I spun my index finger towards the sea, as if casting a spell.
"Now...time, stop!!...Just kidding..."
It won't stop. There's no such thing as magic in this world.
A low groan was heard.
"Ugh... I feel sick."
A small girl with short hair was crawling on the floor. I rushed over to her.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I ate too much... then I danced... I'm done for."
The girl's head is shaking violently.
"Seasick? Hey, we haven't even set sail yet!"
"It's swaying quite a bit in the wind, isn't it?"
Susie put her arm around the unfamiliar girl's shoulder and wandered around the ship's infirmary searching for her.
"Yes, walk slowly."
"Thank you. You're so kind. You're not the type to ignore strangers in need, are you?... Oh, we'll be classmates from now on! And this is the start of a lifelong friendship! After all, we're both Enzyme students, right? It's so awesome! I'm Miranda, from New Hampshire. My dad really wanted me to come here... He said it was a miracle that I got in... I'm so happy too... Ugh..."
She's talking rapidly, feeling nauseous again.
"Yes, let's talk about it later."
After leaving her in the infirmary, Susie tidied herself up in the mirrored bathroom.
Brand new, custom-made uniforms crafted from the finest fabrics.
A white jacket with black trim. A large crimson ribbon at the neckline.
Her skirt is below the knee, is she a nun?
