This Is Youth!! The Dance Party

School life continues.

Finally, the long-awaited, momentous first dance party began.

Some girls were dressed in traditional aristocratic gowns, while others looked like aliens. They were all children of the privileged class, so these kinds of parties were second nature to them. Amidst the circle of my dressed-up classmates, I danced with a forced smile.

"Kevin, Miranda! You two are so in sync!"

"Those two are amazing."

They both possessed exceptional physical abilities, and both delivered outstanding performances on stage.

Through this dance party, I've started to get a sense of everyone's faces and personalities.

They are all young, generally cheerful, and bursting with energy and potential.

To the music, everyone formed a circle and danced.

Sing along to the rhythm.

Was it the music, the voices, or the sound of shoes tapping on the floor...? The vibrations united them.

Even I, who am usually depressed, forgot everything and felt exhilarated in that moment.
