purple ice

Outside my tent, I heard the clinging of swords. When I poked my head out and saw the sun shining and Li, Min-Su, and Su-Bin sparring against each other in a free-for-all. Li was using a shortsword that was slightly glowing a light blue color. I realized it was an ice enchanted sword after she missed Min-Su and the ground around the sword froze to ice. Min-Su had for that reason avoided the sword instead of blocking. She was using two wakizashi. They had a black handle and both had a purple rope going around the handle. The blade itself was a dark silver-like color. I had a thin purple glowing line across the spine.
Su-Bin tried to strike Li from behind while her blade was stuck in the ground but she let go and pulled out a short knife from under her skirt and managed to block Su-Bins attack. It must be hard to fight in a long skirt and a coat. Su-Bin went in for another attack this time on Min-Su. In just a split second he had closed the distance of almost 10 meters. He moved like a lightning bolt flying through the air. When I realized he had got to Min-Su. She had already turned around and blocked the attack. They were on a completely different level than me. I also saw that Su-Bin was using the same blade as Min-Su had, but he was only using one and instead of purple they were a dark blue. 

Li saw me peeking my head out and walked up towards me. "Hey, get dressed and we can start training." She pointed with her head towards a few boxes that she had placed in a pyramid. "It will be easier to train you since one of your elements is the same as mine." She held out her palm and a small ice shard formed slightly over her hand. It still feels surreal to wake up and people around you think magic is normal. Just three days ago I was sitting on a bus with my classmates. "You good?" Li's words wake me up from daydreaming about my friends and Kaiya. "Yeah, sorry. I will go and get dressed now." I quickly go back inside the tent.

When I come back out again I am wearing my black coat with purple and blue details. I am also wearing a black belt where I am sheathing my dagger. Min-Su and Su-Bin are nowhere to been seen but I saw Li is standing down by the box pyramid. I start to walk towards her while she is drawing something on the ground. As I walk closer I can see that she was drawing a circle with stars and the language of the gods. "Hello". Li looked up from the circle when I got closer. "Hello. What is that?" I pointed towards the circle drawn in the dirt. "It is a magic circle that helps magicians gather together the correct particles. Since both of us can use ice I draw the ice circle." I leaned forward and read the text. The element of cold, gather together, freeze my target. I looked up and towards the boxes.

Li once again went through what spells are and why people chant the spell.

"Okay, are you ready to try to cast a spell?" Li smiled at me and looked excited. "Why are you so excited?" haven't you seen an ice spell before?" I said ironically. "Well, the same spells are a bit different for everyone. My ice is a crystal clear light blue while others might be almost dark green-like. It is most common for ice to be a shade of blue." I nodded. It was quite difficult to be cast into a new world and be thought magic as if it is nothing. "Okay, here I go." I stepped into the circle and focus. I remembered what Li told me about mana particles. I focused on gathering them slowly together in my hand. Imagining the cold feeling of ice. I closed my eyes hard and started to chant. "Oh element of cold, gather together, freeze my enemies." I opened my eyes just in time to see a small ice shard fly towards the boxes. 
The shard was a deep blue but it had a purple tint to it. Just as with everything else I owned or that was connected with me. 
The small ice shard toughed the boxes and shattered. "Okay, good start. I was not expecting you to do it on the first try." Li was nodding with a surprised look on her face. "Now it is just repeating till you get the hang of it."

In the evening after casting ice for a whole day I was really tired. I was laying on my back looking towards the sky. "So are you happy?" Li was sitting above me still eating the leftovers from our dinner. "What do you mean?" I leaned my head back but quickly looked back up after remembering that she was in a skirt. "Well, are you happy with what you aschieved today?" She rose up and sat next to me on the grass. "Well, yes... It is the first time I am casting magic. Where I am from Magic was just a fantasy." I mostly was speaking to myself but loudly enough for Li to hear me. "Wait. You're from another world!?" Li suddenly flew up and looked down at me. 'Hey, hey I can see them'  I close my eyes and sit up. "Well, yes... I thought you knew." "Well no. You just suddenly appeared in the throne room and that was it." She sat down again this time in front of me. "So can you explain this world to me?" I looked really excited, like a puppy... How can I say no to those eyes? I sighed, "I can try." We spent the rest of the night talking about my previous life and that world. 
"Hey, tomorrow you have to tell me about this world." I waved at her as she laughed and nodded while walking through the door.
