Chapter 32:

Chapter 32: A Short Lunch

A Journey of True Love Under a Cherry Tree

It’s only been a few days since feeling the pain of Julius and it grew silent. There was no time to waste, so they had to move quickly. It seemed not all of them were worried about the situation, they only cared about Silva’s condition. Even though she cannot stand Julius, she cared for him as a friend.

“Silva are you ok?” Terrance asked worriedly.

“I am fine, I just can’t shake this feeling that this journey is getting a lot more complicated than I wanted it to be,” Silva confessed.

“Yes, not everything we plan turns out the way we want,” Terrance plainly said.

“Yes…well, if it was my choice, I would give up this whole journey and return to my guild and raise my daughters,” Silva confessed.

“Yes….,” Terrance plainly said kindly.

“Mommy….Mommy, look at these pretty flowers we got for you,” Grace said, holding up a bouquet.

“They are lovely, thank you sweetie,” Silva said, accepting the flowers.

“You're welcome mommy,” Grace said, running to the others.

“Silva I was thinking, how are we going to lure the freak of yours to the tournament and get back Julius?” Rufus asked.

“Well, it is not that hard, everyone with magic is invited to these events and I am pretty sure that freak is going to be there hunting prey for his group of idiots,” Silva said kindly.

“Yes, well, this plan works better or we are going to be on the wrong side of the chopping block,” Lisa said, being overly dramatic.

“Lisa, stop being overly dramatic, you are scaring the children. Now let’s have a small lunch because I am starving,” Silva suggested.

“Yes, Rufus, Raquel, Seth, and Lisa, help prepare lunch while we set up the supplies,” Terrance said, giving out orders.

An hour passed and lunch was ready, so they began to eat and discuss their next move.

“Rufus, how far are we to Emerald City?” Silva asked.

“We should arrive there by sun down, so we can relax here for a few more hours,” Rufus said, checking his watch.

“Right, ok, is there a guild office?” Silva asked.

“Yeah, there should be, but why do you need a guild office?” Rufus asked.

“Because we are going to put a little bit of pressure on Lord Julian by getting all the guilds in helping us search for Scout and Julius. That way we have the upper hand and him being in pressure, he will give up the information we need,” Silva confessed.

“That is an interesting plan, it might work, so if we want to get the message out, we better get going now,” Raquel suggested.

“Yes, let’s go because this place is creeping me out,” Lisa said kindly.

“Yes, I agree, let’s go,” Raquel said, getting the girls ready.

“Right, so what are we going to do about the tournament?” Seth asked.

“Yes, well, I think Terrance, Rufus, Raquel, Lisa, Seth, and I should enter the tournament, while the rest of you try to gather information on that fiancé of mine. Oh and Rajah please look after the girls while we are busy with the tournament,” Silva explained.

“That is a good idea, I think it should work,” Rufus said in agreement.

“Right, so what are we waiting for, let's go,” Lisa said in agreement.

Now that everyone agreed to this plan, everyone was ready to head for the city where they hope that their plan will work.

“Ok, guys, we know what we have to do, so let’s do it,” Silva declared as she was staring at the city from afar.

“Right,” the gang shouted.
