Yuto Defeats Dabi

The figure in the smoke was Yuto Kanzaki.

His knees were bent. His shoulders rose and fell with each breath. The three swords in his hands and mouth had not dropped.

In front of him, Dabi was down.

The villain's coat was torn. His blue flames had faded to faint sparks crawling over his fingers.

For a moment, even the reporter forgot to speak.

Then the helicopter broadcast erupted.

"Yuto Kanzaki is standing! Dabi has fallen! U.A. High School has won this clash!"

The words spread across Japan in an instant. Online feeds exploded.

Yuto Kanzaki defeats Dabi.

U.A. first-year stops the League again.

Quake cuts through blue flames.

In the League's hideout, Tomura Shigaraki slammed both hands against the table.

"Impossible!"

The table began to decay under his fingers.

All For One remained still.

For the first time in a long while, he felt genuine frustration rising beneath his calm.

All Might had once given him that feeling.

Now a first-year student was doing the same.

"Yuto Kanzaki," All For One said quietly.

The name carried cold anger.

Tomura looked at him.

"Sensei?"

"Do not look away. This is why he must be handled carefully."

On the screen, Yuto staggered once but forced himself upright.

Class 1-A saw him standing.

Their morale surged. "He won!" Mina shouted.

"Of course he did!" Kirishima yelled, punching through a clone. "That's Yuto!"

Bakugo clicked his tongue, but the corner of his mouth lifted.

"Took him long enough."

Yuto did not celebrate.

His eyes moved past Dabi and locked on the rest of the battlefield.

Kurogiri remained active. Twice's clones still filled the clearing. Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress were still pressing Class 1-A back.

The League had lost Dabi, but the battle was not over.

Yuto lowered one sword and breathed through the pain in his chest.

"Don't relax."

Class 1-A heard him.

So did the League.

So did the reporters above.

Yuto Kanzaki had defeated Dabi.

But the forest camp had not been saved yet.
