Chapter 0:
The Outcast of the Mage's Association
This is the Kingdom of Alvoras.
Long ago many different types of species lived here: Nymphs, Fairies, Humans, Spirits and even Demons. Until one day the demon tribe decided to attack the others.
Demons are well-known for being cruel and evil, for seeing themselves as the strongest to exist.
However they lost as the strongest mages of this kingdom stood against them ultimately defeating them and driving them out of the kingdom far across the borders.
Since then the demon tribe and the other species never interacted again, not until the magic order, the strongest mages decided to create a program to integrate the newer born demons so maybe one day they could live in peace and harmony again.
Despite their attempts, none of the demon tribe were allowed to go there, they didn’t want to ever interact with them again, instead they started to plan their revenge for the last twenty years.
That’s the story we were told ever since we were kids.
You probably wonder why I am writing you this letter.
It’s for you to remember me when I am gone dear reader.
If you found this letter then it was meant to be.
I am Meilyn Taira, a half-demon that wasn’t supposed to exist.
I was supposed to be dead.
I don’t know who my mother was, what else am I besides a demon, who knows?
Why do I exist?
Is there even more to this story that you could have expected?
Far crueler things are awaiting us.
Even deadlier than the sweet revenge planned by the demons.
Remember we weren’t supposed to leave here!
No one left.
Nobody was supposed to go anywhere.
My twin brother Raiden did go.
He disappeared.
Without even telling me why he one day left me a letter telling me to wait for him.
It’s been four years since then.
I know that the last traces of him will be found at that Mage’s association.
Just wait for me.
I will leave this place and search for you far across the south.
I will find you!
I will find out why you left me all alone you idiot of a brother!
And when I find you I will hit you!
Till then dear reader of my letter, what would you say?
Will I make it without causing too much trouble?
