*Sigh*

That kid has been in there for the whole day today he missed breakfast and its already lunch time. 

As she said that, she placed down a plate full of food on the table, and glanced at where her son was at. 

At the corner of the room, was a large and brand new device that arrived last week, large enough to fit a man, Xeno, no Kiyomori her son was inside the capsule playing the newly bought game.

Kiyomori's mother gave that device one last glance before leaving the room while closing the door.

10:00pm In the night, Date: June 21st 2044

2 Hours before the official opening of the game "Conqueror: New Horizon" 

Xeno who was sitting on the chair by his computer was busy watching again and again the trailer for the new game.

"Order them online through our official webpage and PLAY NOW!"

As the video ended. Xeno was busy scribbling through his notepad, thought he could have just written it on a note within his computer, Xeno was quite used to writing things in a notepad before editing them within his computer.

'I'll need to check the official website again and review all  the information shared right now.'

The official Website of CNH (Conqueror: New Horizon) was filled with basic information in regards to the different basic functions, such as how the world worked, and by world that means inside the game, in the trailer there were numerous scenes shown, and among them was the different locations possible, the whole game was basically a new world, at least that was how people called it.

'However I think what we just saw was just one continent if I am not wrong, On the website there was an official post about [South Continent of the Beginning] apparently this is where all players begin, this is where their journey starts, as of right now there are 3 kingdoms available to the south continent. I should really call things by their names.. Well the southern continent is called Sonia, the 3 kingdoms are named Taric, Lupus, and Viscerus. There is no more information regarding them only their approximate location. The Sonia continental map was show to everyone in the official website, except there are no names displayed on which location is which and the map is just monochrome right now, I'm guessing this is for players to discover themselves. Although the map just shows the black color, there is however borders, to divide different body mass and maybe borders of civilization. As of now there are 5 obvious border lines that indicate that they are kingdoms, 3 of which are possibly the currently available spawn locations, and the other 2, their borders could no longer be called kingdoms, they could possibly be called empires, one belongs to the east side while the other was at the west side, conflict between them should be possible but I can't really identify the terrain.'

Through the video, some of the locations seen are part of the southern continent based on their geographical difference such as waterfalls connected to lakes, river paths, and others. So some places where identified, as the same location though their names remain unknown.

I gave a glance at the bottom right of my screen to check the time.

11:49 PM 

*Sigh*

11 Minutes left, let's review all the information available right now then, so I checked my notepad.

1.  1 hour in real life is 4 hours in game, one day in game is still 24 hours, so you wouldn't even notice that it's 4x faster.

2.  Apparently when you start in the game, although you could choose the 3 kingdoms as where you spawn, you could even choose the wilderness as long as they are not marked red.

'Red marked areas included the 2 empires I speculated earlier, then for the wilderness top of the mountains seem to be marked red too, and other areas that are still unknown.'

3. Before you are spawned, you will encounter your guide for a quick tutorial.

4. Specialty, a new term that is created for the game, it is an identifier on what you are most proficient at, there are 4 general categories, they are: physical combat, magical knowledge, service workers and production. 

Physical combat would be about the use of the body, and weapons. You can choose from swordsmanship to dagger mastery, spear mastery, marksmanship, and many more. So from melee to long range weapons, as long as they are held I guess they are still within physical combat. 

 While the only information magical knowledge gave is that you can only have 2 types of magic, so you need to choose carefully. 'Though you can probably remove existing types and learn a new one probably, is what I am guessing.'

Then there is the service worker and production, though they seem the same, they are quite different I think. For service workers, the examples given were adventurers who contribute to mapping the continent, explorers who map complicated dungeons, and more. As for producers this now involves blacksmithing, cooking, engraving and many more.

A lot of the specialty may involve using the things you learned in real life, the only one that doesn't involve in talents in real life would be magical knowledge, though there's still no information about it anyways. 

As for the service worker categories It would be best if I go for adventurer since I plan on spawning on the wilderness and go make the most of it, without dying ideally.

For physical combat I would go for the spear, the weapon I have the most combat experience in using at the dojo. A spear would be good too since with its long reach I could safely attack enemies while maintaining my distance, maybe, as long as they are not the aggressive rushing type. 

A random thought came to my head, 'I guess I'm not the usual anime protagonist since I am going for a spear, most protagonists use a sword. Am I a side character!!!'

I immediately dismissed that thought.

While for producers I am quite confident In the cooking category since I cook for a family diner near our place. 

'I still cook there until now, otherwise I would have said "I used to cook.",  even though I don't cook there often anymore my skills are still sharp, I have studied and I have been taught how to cook for my entire life after all, which is 18 years, well maybe except when I was 4 years old below.'

Tring! Tring! Tring!

11:59 PM

The alarm set to ring just a minute before the game releases finally let out a sound, I got up thinking that I had remembered everything I needed to know. So I finally decided to get in the capsule. 

'Good thing they have cushion in these things otherwise my back would have hurt. Now all I have to do is put on the Head Mounted Device, instead of it  being called Head Mounted Display its called device because this thing is what allows the body to access the other world through complicated brain wave control and such.'

"Start!" I said.

'It is as it says, I am for some reason very sleepy right now despite being so excited playing the game a while ago, well lets just not resist.' My eye lids finally closed as I let the drowsiness get to my head.
