Daria scowled as she sat before Okisato at the secret puzzle cafe at Lagoon Pathways. "I can't believe Mimoko got kidnapped again. Worse, I'm told the WWCF won't be mobilizing a rescue effort like last time."

"Why's that?" Okisato asked.

"I believe it has something to do with this," Daria sighed as she flashed her WWCF card before Okisato.

"Inoue-senpai's gamelogs?"

"Yes, as you can see, she's been playing games in Sochi of all places, suggesting that perhaps she can win her own freedom via chess."

"Ah, that's the one thing the president doesn't protest."

"Correct. Had the Fairies allowed her to play in the gauntlet, I doubt we'd be given the go-ahead, and Mimoko would have to free herself. Not like she couldn't though. I have the same faith in her with this, but it still flusters me."

"I could imagine. Especially since Tsar Grigori's likely the one behind it."

Daria went silent. "Tsar Grigori?"

"Yeah, that Vasily guy was actually him."

Daria began to frown as she pressed her fan to her lips. "First Svetlana becomes a model, then the Vasily video is sent to us, now Mimoko's in Russia."

"Hold on, the video was sent in?"

"Yes, it was from an unknown sender a few weeks ago."

"So the tsar has had this plan in the works for a while. He's always such a difficult man to pin down. I'll try to get some answers-"

Okisato nodded, but as soon as he saw the name of Mimoko's opponent, his heart began to thump. "Arina Miyakova... Could it be, wherever Inoue-senpai is could be the same place Mina Kowalski was taken to?" he thought.
