We were ready to continue, so I opened the door that led to the hallway with the security doors, but when I started to force it open one of the dolls started talking trying to warn me.

"Be careful, the locking system has been manually disabled!" shouted sister 2
"I no longer have control of the security doors or the cameras"
"I can no longer get information to give you support"
"The guards should already be alert and on their way here"

But when he said that I finished opening the door fully, and with her seeing three armed guards walking towards me, I immediately got out of the way and taking only my hands from the cover I fired the submachine gun without aiming, I did not see what they did but they also shot as a response.

"You have 26 rounds left in the magazine" sister 1 said as she approached me.

"I don't need to know that"

"Your heart rate is rising alarmingly" sister 2 spoke again
"I recommend you try to relax by breathing slowly"

"Right now they are shooting me"
"It is obvious that this is going to happen!"
"I don't need to know that either"

"The three guards are probably behind cover too"
"You have to find a way to get them out of there" add sister 1

"I already know that too!"

"We should use the exhaust duct that Dylan used for us too, get out of here too" Said the two dolls at exactly the same time.

"No, they're probably keeping an eye on that and they'll kill us as soon as we go a bit further out there"

The two dolls were supposed to be a single computer, but for a computer, their way of acting was quite strange, it was as if the two of them, despite seeming to have no visible emotions, I could see how clearly they were nervous about what was happening. But they were right, I have to do something to get out of here somehow, the security doors were now completely open, so the corridor was now quite wide. I could use Avalon to force my way again and get out of here!

There was a moment when nobody shot and that little silence heard something, a metallic sound was heard bouncing off the ground. It fell close to my feet, it was a stun grenade!

I immediately closed my eyes looking away and covered my ear, the grenade exploded not long after. So despite the horrible pain I opened my eyes and fired the gun through the door again until the magazine was exhausted, but my vision was blurry, I felt completely dizzy and lost, besides now I couldn't hear anything. I did not know that if I managed to hurt someone. With what little I saw and the sisters seemed to notice that they were passing me, I saw how they were making signs with their hands: three, fist, half a square, palm down. They were telling me to keep my position at the door and lie down on the floor. Quickly reload the weapon, but the sisters gave me the stop sign, just after I felt like several shots went through the door, they were a lot, it took them several seconds to run out of bullets I think, because at a certain point I could see that sister 1 pointed to me in signs: enemy, rifle, order to fire, now. I did exactly that and after a moment they gave me the order to move forward.

I was afraid but there was no other choice, or I trusted them or the three of us would end up dead. Since I had recovered a little, I got up and started to move forward, but to my surprise now the three guards were quite close to the door with which I used as cover, they were on the ground, two of them were dead and the last one was having a seizure. It seems they did try to take advantage of the grenade, but I managed to repair the weapon first and fire before they had the chance. Although I would have liked to have more time to recover, I had to continue. My vision had returned to normal, and I had also regained the feeling of balance. But my hearing on the other hand was horrible, I still heard a beep almost as loud as the initial one. Stun grenades make a loud sound, and even though I plug my ears, I completely forget my big fox ears, which hear more and are much more sensitive than human ones, so the effect will probably last longer. The sound of guns in this interior was bothering me too much, but that grenade so close was devastating to my poor ears.

Returning to the stairs that gave up to the mansion one of the dolls lightly touched my back. She went back to sign language one more time: Five, enemies, right, rifle, two, left, shotgun. The answer was easy, I had to go left, although I did not yet know the interior of the house, so I had a great chance of getting lost. I can only trust my eyesight, so I'll have to be extra careful, I moved quickly through the room and down the corridor that followed, where I came face to face with the two guards who were carrying shotguns. Immediately I threw down a large statue that was close to me and used it to cover myself, I could feel how the shots hit the statue, but none of them managed to hit me. The next thing now was to wait for my time to go out and attack, I looked back hoping to see the sisters so that they would tell me when to leave, but I saw that they were hiding in the previous room and they couldn't know when to tell me to attack. I get ready To take a chance and get out, if they still have ammunition left, I'll take out Avalon and protect myself again. But abruptly the sisters came out a bit and gestured again for me to check the hall. I came out carefully from the cover and I could see how the two guards were now on the ground, one was dead and the other dying, behind them, was Stella with a revolver, who in cold blood aimed and shot finished the misery of the guard that still alive.

When the fight was over I saw how she was moving her mouth, but my deafness had not improved, so I have no idea what she is talking about.

"I'm sorry I can't hear anything"
"My fox ears hurt a lot from a stun grenade" I told her.

Her eyes were opened in surprise, Stella kept her pistol in a pocket of her dress and approached me, she took off my hat and felt like she was checking my ears, when she finished she made me a calm face and raised her thumb, pointing out that what I had seemed not to be very serious, apart from losing your hearing momentarily in a critical moment like now. The dolls, noticing that the other girl was not a danger and that I knew her, approached carefully, they got behind me. Stella looked at them for a moment and spoke to them. I have no idea what they are saying, but seeing how one of them pointed to me I think they were talking about me. Although in the middle of that conversation she could see that Stella was looking me several times in the face, what was she planning again? Then she smiled and spoke to me directly, once again I did not know what she was saying, after that she turned to the sisters and spoke to them again, they were surprised by something she said. And then I immediately understood that Stella was doing hers again, I got in the way and warned her.

"Don't think you will do it again!" I said seriously.

Stella with a mocking face pointed behind me, so I turned to see. The dolls were looking at me with a worried face, I was about to cry, the reason I did not know, had I done something wrong to them? Was it to deny whatever Stella was saying?

"What were you telling them!?"

Stella still with her face smiling mockingly just put her hand on my shoulder and pointed one more time to the sisters.

But the dolls still had a worried look on their faces, one that I thought a computer could never imitate, they looked like they were about to cry, but being robots it was impossible for them. It seemed like they were telling me something, forcefully, but I still couldn't hear what they were saying. I wanted to discuss whatever just happened, but Stella was almost immediately furious and took out her revolver, without time to say anything she shot towards a door that was close to us, the door opened at the same time and a guard who was shot immediately. To more surprise this guard was not like the previous ones in knight armor, this one used a uniform, bulletproof vest, military helmet, and the Steyr AUG rifle. The patch on his uniform confirmed what he had been suspecting since I entered the dungeon, these people are soldiers of the Balkan Empire. How the hell had they gotten here? I pointed to the body to Stella and asked her, but seeing that although she answered me I could not listen once more. Sister 2 took me by the hand indicating that I should look at her, and she pointed out to me that almost ten were approaching the same as the previous one. That was bad news because that meant that if those are people who knew how to fight with firearms, we had no more time to lose. Stella pointed to a window in a nearby room and then directed me to run to the left once outside.

Stella reloaded her revolver and went the way we walked. Seeing that the options were not many, I took a chair in the living room and threw it against the window, destroying the glass and wood that protected it and jumping through it right after, I checked that there were no enemies nearby and then yelled at the girls to jump too. Once outside I could see where he was exactly and where he had to run to go to the extraction point, it was at the other end of the house and we would have to run about three hundred meters between the garden and the fence. I told the girls to run as fast as possible towards where the car was waiting for us.

The three of us ran as quickly as possible, first the sisters and then I who frequently looked back to see if there were soldiers from the empire following them, which happened when we were halfway through, I could see how they left the house and started to shoot in our direction. From behind them I saw how a girl now with white armor and wings came out of the entry by surprise and began to attack them, she used a blue light sword and a pistol that seemed to shoot beams of light, it was Stella, now with the suit Of combat that some angels of the assault teams used, it was quite similar to the Arksuits that the Alliance used, but of higher quality and power. She was doing her best to keep them entertained while we escaped, being quite effective seeing the savage way she fought.

When we finally made it to the fence, my father saw us coming and threw a rope to help us escape.
