Kathy one sided trying to hold a conversation with me, who was heading to the guild with Drac and her.
"Geez~ Don't you understand yet? Lisa is a Epic rank and you are a 'no badge' Maleficer like us"
Kathy angrily kinda scolded me.

I'm a Copper Rank Maleficer, the lowest rank also known as no badge.
I found out that one-eyed monster (Lisa Scarlet) is a Epic rank when we were having dinner yesterday night but what shock me more was Kathy and Drac have the same rank as me.
It made me as that I wanted to curse everythiiiing!

The rank system
If a Maleficer completed a certain quest, they get rank up according to the quest level.
And I haven't done any quest since 3 years so I have the lowest rank.
It can't be help right?
"I know" Sadly I agreed with Kathy, for no fighting with That one-eyed monster for now.
"Ahahhahaha"
I thought someone was too quiet, but he open his tunnel mouth.
With a blank face Kathy asked:
"Why are you laughing?"
"Hee, Yesterday he was talk about how I am useless. Look! who is talking a Copper Maleficer. It's hilarious right?"

It stinks me!!!
But I ignored, didn't wanna talk more.
"You are being rude to Onii chan!"
I entered the guild leaving those two behind, as always I was an eyesore for everyone.
Staring at me hateful.

Then I noticed a empty seat that only one person calim as her personal seat.
I headed toward it and-
"Where are you going?" Someone from behind pulled my white shirt collar.
"My seat is there! I can't maintain long distance relationship"
"What kind of relationship are you talking about?! Onii chan has grow physically but mentally, not good. Tried to be more mature."
I was choking but I never give up.
"I- Gwaaa didn't wanted to hear from a 12 years old ki-gwww"
She proudly, confidential said: "I may look like a kid, but inside I'm full grown lady"
As she spoken, my eyes automatically looked at the part where it was yet to develop.
"Lady? Where? I don't see a lady."
She let me go and covered her chest.
Due to sudden free, I had a accident was a worker, broke the glasses she was carrying.
"Sorry" Kathy apologized instead of me, of course it was her fault.
"Don't worry. I'll wipe it later"
"Here~ Strawberry milkshake"
A delicious looking three big ,strawberry milkshake was placed at the table where Drac was sitting alone waiting for us.
Then, me-
"Declicous~"
I happily enjoying every bite.
Using strawberry milkshake as a bait, I'm forced to sit here. Unforgivble!
"What about the struggle to sit at that seat?"
"What are you talking about? Shut up"
"Geez!" She pouted cutely.

A cold voice from behind me called Kathy and Drac.
Naturally I look back like them and became pissed off after seeing a familiar Crimson hair.
I was raising my voice.
"What are you--"
Like a faithful dog, both of them stand before her.
It happened too fast that eyes wasn't able to catch their movements.
If they had a tail, I could see them moving swiftly.
"Hey, both of you, What are you doing?"
With a straight face Drac said:
"Isn't that obvious? Lisa is our captain. And we are her underling"
A nonsense thing.
'Leader my foot! What does he mean?' it was written all over my face.
I look at Kathy, hoping she could explain me.
But she avoided eye contact.
Just like her sister.
I wasnt rare to form a squad with adventure Maleficer but I can't believe Cyclops (Lisa Scarlet) teaming up with them.
And she is the Captain though no surprising.
She is strong.
In a polite tone, someone opened his mouth.
"Okay. Bye Volt, I hope you die soon."
'Damn it! I can't do it. I'm about to exposed my happy face after seeing Volt. Drac finished the talk already.'
I saw a glimpse of Cyclops holding her smile after seeing my sorry state.
Is she picking a fight with me?
They ignored me, turned their back at me and walked away.
As soon as possible, I finished my strawberry milkshake and their too since it is a waste to left them.
Then took a long breath and shout.
"Heyyy! Cyclops!"
I wasn't shouting with joy, I was provoking her.
But I didn't get her attention expect the rest of the people inside the guild.

I didn't pay attention what they were saying about me.
Kathy turned around.

I was kinda happy, at least she--
With her hand gesture, 'shoosh' she tell me to be quiet.
That piss me.

I was at my wit's end.
Ran towards them, to talk face to face.

I remember it is the same spot where the drink fell and the worker cleaned it.
Cause of that, I fell on the ground, smashing my back head, leaning at the floor with my back.

A unexpected service----
Probably, I would never forgot this moment for the rest of my life.

I was confused what just happened but there was one thing I know.
It is pure white.
I was supposed to be looking up at the ceiling but I was looked up at someone's crotch.

I heard shivering voice, look at the source, but started from the below. First thing I notiecd, was her beautiful white legs, tights, black skirt that length to her above her knees, white shirt with enormous boing boing, beautiful crimson hair.

She summoned a sword with her hand from thin air and pointed towards me suddenly.
"Pervert!" She said blushing, but her
piercing glare giving a chill down my spine.
I was cold sweating from that though I'm not scared.
What should I do now!
At this situation, I could do one thing.
In the meantime, everyone folding hand, praying for me?
"Why are you pointing your sword to me? I just saw a piece of white cloth. That's all!"
The crowd become suprised.
A crack on her face, twitching her eyebrows, grinding her teeth, turning red.

Before she stab me or something , I moved back a little.
"Okay. If you are itching for a duel then-"

As soon I say 'duel' Everyone moved things like table, chair making a big place perfect for a match.
How much do they wanted to see me fight her?
"Before that I have a condition! If I win, Kathy and D-(I look at Drac)... You will free Kathy."

Wow. She didn't even think for a second. How cruel.

After I left this town, some things have changed. Cyclops have a Epic Maleficer, Kathy and Drac join her team. Man....
They should be with me not this monster.
The crowd making space, excitement in their face.
Cyclops and me face each other, glaring at each other without blinking for a moment.
The atmosphere became intense.
But I feel like something was missing, someone who was supposed to stop this kind of thing.
She took a deep breath, relaxed herself.
Now...who will take the first step?

She put her right hand forward, sudden a long, beautiful wooden sword.

I was the only one who reacted like that and everyone was enchanted by her beautiful style!
Even Kathy who was supposed to be cheering on me.
She must be underestimating. Which piss me off, I dash at her wildly.

You thought I was going to use my 'Malefic busrt fist'.
That she prepared to block it with the wooden sword's plain surface.
But you are wrong.
When I reached her, close enough that she was in my attack range. It happened in a instant I summoned two swords.
A pair of matched swords, mirror image of each others.
And strike her .

I thought I could send her sword flying in the sky. But
She perfectly repel it.
I smirked little, after seeing her suprised face.
Everyone let out a sound 'whooaa', of course !
It's a new skill that I developed since I left.
Lisa, Kathy, Drac should be suprised.
But in reality, it was not a real skill that I could brag about. I was just holding two swords.
A present from my master, Boras.
But for some reason my master called this two swords 'Katana'.
What is the difference?
With a shock tone, before anyone, Cyclops said: "You... When did you use swords?"
See she said swords too.

I was in the condition for further duel.
Like a dust, it disappeared.

I flies towards her, prepared to stirke at her any opening if I found.
She defend with a burning spirit, with a sword, a real sharp looking sword.
She tries not to let me close to her.
While using my swords as a shields, I advances.
Many blows have been thrown and everything my swords bounced like I'm hitting on a rock.
Her single eye say that she will face me-------no, that she will only advances.

The clashing sound , somehow made a rhythms.
Two blades clanging against each other.
The sparking clashes increased everytime without pause.
Everyone was afraid, wonder what was happening.
The battle of the us is like a vaccum.
It sucks in the air around us, like anything approaching us would be cut in pieces.
The fight was long, but only for them.
But for us, it only last in instant.
I was already out of breath but she didn't even show-

I was abnormal Maleficer, a unique one.

I prepared a position to dash at her, breaking the ground where I stand.

I suddenly felt a pain at my stomach, a heavy punch.

A stylish looking young man, was the one who hit me and turn out it was my Master.

He said that calmly.
"Right back at you. Asshole! I'm having a tea party."

I stared to rolled on the ground in pain.
Everyone had a face said 'pathetic'

I look at the direction of the sound, a old man folding his arms forcing a smile stand before me.
I thought something was missed so it was him.

He smack on my head.

As he said, he left showing his manly back to me.
The crowd dispatched, cause there was no more fight.
Along with the crowd, she banish.
I didn't intend to search her.
It's not like a have other businesses with her.
'Come to my office' He said, but is there any important thing to talk in his office.

I haven't cause any trouble lately.
Did he realised I'm stronger than Cyclops?
Am I gonna promote from copper to gold?
I was summoned by Gramps, so I went to his office. On the way, thinking possible thing he wanna talk about.
I was hoping for something like that--

Gramps cleared his throat, attention to him aside me.
"From now on, Lisa Scarlet, Katherine Mansfield, Drac Mansfield and new member Volt Fang will be one team called 'Saber of Dawn'
