B - 52

Kakashi's first real drinking experience went smoothly but not without backlash. They all drunk themselves silly, but in the morning they all had a massive hangover. His little brother woke him up by banging two pans together.

"What are you doing?" (Kakashi, grabbing his head and spinning in his bed)

"Wakey-wakey you drunk!" (Luka, while still banging the pans.)

"Alright! That's enough! I'm awake, you don't have to keep banging... My head hurts." (Kakashi begging for mercy)

"If you want to drink, you pay the price in the morning if you don't know how to drink." (Josip)

He said that entering the room.

"What's there to know?" (Kakashi)

"You have to know your limit and pace." (Josip)

"OK, I will try to remember that next time I'm drinking." (Kakashi)

"Well, I am going to the sanctuary here, there is a procession, you don't have to if you don't want to." (Josip religiously)

"OK, dad I will wait here." (Kakashi hungover)

"I will come, dad. Most of the kids my age are going too." (Luka expectantly)

"OK, let's go then." (Josip)

Kakashi's day passed with a headache and after his dad came back and told him there was almost 200,000 people, he was glad he didn't go because his headache would be that much stronger.

A few days later they returned to Croatia. After a few more days they said their goodbyes and went back to Japan. And when they arrived Okuma senpai greeted them and spoke to Kakashi and his father about a way to make an energy bar like no other. Where one small bite would be enough to sustain a person with energy for the whole day.

"It should be possible if we combine these substances and use a good enough catalyst. The energy-rich molecules should connect and make a molecule with crazy energy value. If we manage this, we might not have to work ever again." (Okuma senpai already with his mind in the Bahamas)

"I didn't know you were so lazy senpai." (Kakashi teasing him)

"He does have a point, Okuma, but we need to patent it as soon as we manage to create it." (Josip carefully)

They were both very glad that he came to this idea and made plans to finish this before school starts which is less than a week. And after only 4 days they managed to create the energy bar.

"WE DID IT! WELL DONE EVERYONE" (Okuma senpai excitedly)

"Well done indeed, but we still need to patent it, you know. For now lets each take one and see if it does help practically." (Josip wanting to experiment)

"OK, but I'm going to use it when I need to study, Dad" (Kakashi)

The energy bar was a great success for them but they had no idea what is going to happen. In a few hours, it would change their future and their opinion of the universe forever.

When Kakashi got home with his dad, he took his energy bar into his room and put it on a piece of foil on his table, and went back downstairs to eat lunch. They were eating Akemi's great cooking and enjoying the meal. Suddenly an earthquake struck. It was a pretty powerful one but still not enough to make any serious damage. They also felt weird energy from somewhere nearby.

After the earthquake, 10 seconds later, their TV switched channels and a ghostly figure appeared on the TV.

"Earth has discovered the compound B-52, Earth is hereby allowed interplanetary warfare and is considered low threat to already existing planets who can wage interplanetary wars. This message is being transmitted all over the world and to commanding stations of other worlds. Earth has one year to learn and use this new power. After one year, any outside force that is also considered a low threat level may attack. We are sending an envoy to the place where the compound B-52 is discovered to teach you how to use this new power Earth has obtained. With this, we will conclude this transmission."

Screams of shock and horror could be heard outside, but Kakashi and his family were still holding it together. Josip was the first to speak :

"Any ideas what is going on? If you ask me it's best to get together with my family. We must protect people who are important to us. Akemi, kids, do you want to come with me? Akemi, I know this might be hard on you since you lost your parents. But I haven't, and I want to be with them." (Josip worriedly)

"Dad, this will be hard to pull, probably the whole land is in chaos, I already checked on my phone it was on TVs and phones all over the world. There won't be enough planes, panic is starting to develop everywhere." (Kakashi explaining)

"Don't worry, honey we will go with you." (Akemi)

"OK, it is going to be hard, but we will have to get there as fast as we can. Go pack up again and if there are no plane tickets we will go by car until the next airport." (Josip already planning)

"OK, dad. Let's go bro." (Luka)

They went upstairs and as Luka went into his room, Kakashi felt a strange presence from his room and walked towards it cautiously.

When he entered his room he saw a similar, ghostly figure standing in his room. It was humanoid form with parts disconnecting, evaporating, and then being refilled. It was watching something on the desk.

The shock was apparent on Kakashi's face and as he looked where the figure was looking he saw that the bottle of water from the lake his dad gave them fell and broke on a watch that was there, and it spilled over the energy bar. It was radiating a weird type of energy and it could be hardly felt.

"Kakashi Kovač, am I right?" (Ghostly figure)
