First fight

The training days went by quickly and it was almost time to go into outer space. Mike the mechanic even sent a message that the ship is finished, so all they needed to do now was get to the ship and go protect our planet.

Since everything calmed down since almost a year passed they were able to book a flight to Australia. They landed and Mike was waiting for them at the airport, they met up and went to see the spaceship.

"You have a warehouse this big?" (Kakashi)

"No, it is a company I own, we build smaller satellites, sometimes even bigger ones." (Mike)

"Wow" (Kakashi)

They went inside and the first thing they saw was the spaceship.

"Wow, this ship is amazing." (Kakashi and Okuma together)

"I know right?" (Mike)

"It can probably fit more than just us, right?" (Ivan)

"Yes, I was thinking that you would find some more people to go on the quest of protecting the earth." (Mike)

"If I may interrupt, this is actually great that you have more space than needed since there are alliances in between planets, so more space means you can place an ally with you." (Kage)

"That is awesome, so we are six and six more empty seats, its like two teams of two planets." (Kakashi)

"But what if they don't fit in the chair? What if they are not humanoids?" (Ivan)

"Well, I didn't think about that, to be honest." (Mike)

"Well, you got a week left until the deadline gets here, so why not a bit of fun before we leave?" (Okuma)

"Yes, that is exactly what we need! Too much training can be bad for us, you know." (Ivan)

"I agree, but first let us get familiar with the equipment here." (Kakashi)

"OK, these are your space suits, they were made not to rip if handled roughly, and they are tight and stretchy on the inside, so they are even harder to rip. I have also installed in the suit a compartment that bounces a steel ball out from the suit, and you can use it as a kinetic energy weapon." (Mike)

"Awesome Mike-san, show us around the ship to please." (Kakashi)

Mike showed them around the ship, the controls were simple and natural and his workers prepared the detachable gas tanks. Everything was ready for take-off, and the team went around Australia to enjoy their week before they left for space.

The week passed in a flash, and they were getting ready to go to defend earth.

"Your first enemy is already close by, they are waiting for tomorrow noon when the protection of your planet stops. I may tell you what species they are and that is all." (Kage)

"Okay, Kage-sama, what are they?" (Kakashi)

"They are what you would call insects, but they are pretty large, tall as a human and have six legs." (Kage)

"This baffles me, how do they fly a ship or how can they use any equipment?" (Ivan)

"Ah, they use nothing, they overwhelm their enemies with numbers and eat them." (Kage)

"So their outer shell is strong enough not to get ripped apart by vacuum?" (Kakashi)

"Yes, and they are anaerobic too, so they don't need any oxygen. They fly through space in search for food, but they don't need the food for a long time after they eat too." (Kage)

"We have a messed up enemy already everyone, but will we be OK, just the six of us?" (Kakashi)

"I believe you should be just fine since they can't move really fast in the outer space. Also, take this headset and wear it outside, it is a universal translator." (Kage)

Nervousness was apparent on their faces, but they set out into space to protect the Earth.

Everyone is next to the door of the spaceship waiting for noon since the insects will attack at noon, there were more than 500 of them waiting so they can attack, and all of them were without any suits or helmets, only one had a helmet of sorts and it was three times the size of the normal insects.

"Humans, your puny force of six warriors is nothing in front of our 500, abandon any hope of victory and prepare to be eaten by our overwhelming numbers!" (Insect commander)

"I would like to see that happen!" (Ivan)

The battle started and our heroes were not doing too good, they tried to shoot out the metal balls from their suits adding to their kinetic energy, and they would just bounce off of insects hard shells.

"I told you, you can't win! Prepare to be eaten!" (Insect Commander)

Okuma hit a bug on a joint and as soon as some soft tissue got revealed to the vacuum of the outer space the whole insect got turned inside out and died.

"Aim for the joints, their shell is the weakest there." (Okuma)

"Crap, how did you know that?!?!" (Insect Commander)

"It's simple, you move those parts, so the shell can't be as hard on the joints because you wouldn't be able to move at all." (Okuma)

"Awesome, Okuma-sempai, I'm taking down insect after insect with your tip." (Kakashi)

"They are going down like Dominos." (Petra)

"I didn't know it can be this easy!" (Ivana)

"Turn the steel balls around after each bug, we don't have enough, we might run out." (Marina)

"Yes, she has a point! Be wary of your ammo!" (Ivan)

The battle continued for 30 more minutes where insects would die and our heroes would use the propulsion from their suits to dodge the insects, but Ivan was a bit different from everyone.

"Weeeeee, I didn't know this could be so fun, I must be going around 120 km/h, and I'm causing mayhem to these bugs!" (Ivan)

"How did you get so proficient with that so fast? Thanks to you, we have a much bigger chance of defeating them now since I'm at less than 20% with my propulsion gas.' (Kakashi)

"I'm at 25%." (Ivana)

"I'm at 20." (Marina)

"I'm at 18." (Okuma)

"I'm at 30, I think I kinda understand some of his movements." (Petra)

"How much do you have Ivan?" (Kakashi)

"I'm at 70%" (Ivan)

'''''70%?!??!?!?!?''''' (Everyone)

"Are you sure this is a 1st time for you?" (Kakashi)

"Yeah, but it feels natural." (Ivan)

"Okay, we have enough charges in the ship so that we can do this 10 more times. Let's not waste it all, learn from Ivan." (Okuma)

"Yes, this is almost over, no more than 20 of them remain, and we still got some juice in our suits, only I hope the big one won't be hard to beat." (Petra)

All that is left now is the big insect.

"You will feel the wrath of planet Skragikurr!" (Insect Commander)

The insect commander started flying towards our heroes at a faster speed than the rest of the bugs but everyone evaded and tried to hit its joints with the steel balls but nothing happened.

"This guy is tough!" (Marina)

"What are they feeding this one?" (Ivan)

"Are we really going to fail after coming this far?" (Ivana)

"No, we have to win no matter what!" (Kakashi)

"But how?" (Okuma)

"How about focusing the light from all the stars? I got some mirrors." (Petra)

"That is awesome! Let's do it, everyone, focus light from your side into these mirrors, and we will shoot it as a thermal beam into this bug!!"(Kakashi)

'''''Lets do it!''''' (Everyone)

They focused the light from all the stars into the 2 mirrors Petra gave to Kakashi making the light infinitely bounce in between the mirrors, and in a moment Kakashi let the light out towards the insect.

"Hot, hot, hot, what are you doing?!?!!?" (Insect Commander)

"We are boiling you alive with all the heat from all the visible stars around here." (Kakashi)

And like that, they have won the battle, and they can go home victorious.

"No-no-no-no, we aren't going home! Do you know how much pollution 1 rocket flying into space can produce? We are staying here until we have to go back!" (Marina)
