It was supposed to be erased but

Chapter 18


Natsumi starts walking stairs after stair. She looks at every gate she finds and reads the stone tablet beside the gate. Every gate she saw was different from the other gates she seen before. Every gate she saw was more and more fascinating then the other gate she saw. Some of the gate had tree planted on the gate. Some of those trees that were in those gates were bigger than a normal human house. Some of the gates she saw was inside of a tree. Some of the gate she saw was destroyed in half. Some of the gate she saw looked like a portal to a another dimension more than a gate. Some of the gates she saw was also covered in snow. Some of the gates she saw was covered in lava. Some of those gates had some kind of ancient alphabet encrypted in the gate other than the encrypted tablet. Some of them even had some human's picture on it. There were many, many gate that had drawing and pictures on the gates. All of those pictures and drawing are from that respective world of those gates. It was written in the tablet beside it. Some of them had Japanese writing on it. It wasn't on the tablet but on the gate. She reads them. She also read the stone tablet that was encrypted in that gate. After reading that she realizes

Natsumi [So not only japanese people from earth use Japanese language. But some of the other world have Japanese language on it] 

Those writings were all different thoughts of the people who died before her and their thought of those world beyond the gates

One of the them had this written on it :"This is heaven for me. I never thought that I would live in a place that have dragons. It was a world full of adventure. Not only that in this world human tame those dragons. They uses dragon to ride, for delivering thing, use them in tournaments and most of the people uses the dragon for most of their livelihood. I was in a world that didn't have dragons. But it had sci-fi technology. It was higher than the most of the other world's. But I didn't like technology that much so I choose this world. It was a great place to live. B/t t///r is / r///. Y/ ha// t/ c///le// it before hand. It is /////"
The letter after that were missing so she couldn't understand what was written there.

Natsumi [What was written there? Was it removed by someone? Or is it disappearing through time] 

She moves forward again and found another gate that had also Japanese writing on it. She looked at it reads it.

That one had :"This is literally the best world. Everywhere I go, I only see rich people. Even I was rich people. Nobody was poor. I had a car. My friend had a car. I had company. He too. I had a country. He had a country. Everyone had a country of their own. Everyone is happy"

Natsumi [I was rich so I don't care about being rich. Also being rich doesn't mean you are happy. I think this person doesn't know that. Does this world have anything other than being rich?]

"Everyone is happy. It had some very huge great pyramid. Even some people look liked pyramid. This world have many different kind monsters but they are good. They are more friendlier than I thought. Most of them looked like monsters from the Halloween. They even had two of my most favorite monsters! Pumpkin head monster and Dr Frank Stein. There was a giant chocolate monsters. I ate some of those monsters. I was a giant flaming pumpkin head monster. Not human. You probably thought how I eat even though I was a pumpkin head. Even pumpkin head monster have mouth to eat. It's funny right? Hahaha.'



Natsumi [Most of it are just thought of him saying that he likes monsters. I am not interested in monsters. Nobody wanted to know how much you like monsters and it wasn't funny at all. Rather I was scared of monsters when I was a child. But I Don't get scared that easily about any monsters nowadays.]

She finds the same line again. She gets suspicious and curious about what that actually mean. She reads that sentence from the gate again and again trying to understand what that means. But she couldn't understand what that was supposed to mean at that time.

Natsumi [It must be the same guy writing his thoughts on this gate too. He may have died twice or more.]

As she move forward she saws many other gates. And many of them had Japanese writing on it. All of them had one similarity. The same line was in all of them.

" B/t t///e is / r///. Y/ ha// t/ c///le// it before hand. It is ///////////"

As she read that over and over again trying to understand what that sentence was supposed to mean she finally find out what that sentence was trying to mean. She moves forward once more. She saw many other different and various kind of gates and read what was written in those encrypted tablet in those gates. After seeing about hundreds of gates and their encrypted tablet she got bored and tired of it. Some of the gate's encrypted tablet description were almost the identical world to the other gate's encrypted tablet description. She was able to Know what kind of world it had inside of it after reading only one line.

Natsumi [I should go back to that place I came from. I should find Light first.]

As soon as she thought of going back to Light she looked behind her but the amounts of gate she saw made her understand that she doesn't know the way she came back and that she is lost and Light is very faraway. She was also tired of walking all this way. She thought that she has no choice other than going back to there walking aimlessly.

But suddenly Light appears out of nowhere and scares her by saying "Booh!!!" In front of her face. She punches him very hard on the face as a reflex. Her punch was so strong that two of his tooth falls down from his mouth instantly.

Light replies to her :"That hurt!! You know! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!! It's hurts just by talking to you"

She got relieved seeing that it wasn't something dangerous but it was just Light. 

Natsumi replies to him with a calm face smile :"Its only you Light. I thought it was some kind of monster." 

Light replies to her with angry voice like this :"Of course it's me! Do you think anyone other than me is here right now?"

She asks him :"How did you know I was here?"

Light puts his hands on his hip and reply to her :"Of course it's because..."

She replies to him with an unamused face :"I understand. You don't have to tell it again."

She already knew what he will tell next.

Light gets disappointed. He replies to her like this :"What!!!!?! I guess it doesn't matter. By the way Did you choose which world you want to go.?"

Natsumi replies to him like this :"I haven't."

Light gets even more disappointed.

Light asks her :"Why?"

Natsumi asks him :"Why did you try to erase that sentence?"

Light asks her with clueless face :"Which sentence?"

Natsumi replies to him :"You don't have to play dumb. You already know what I am talking about."

Light replies to her with a disappointed voice :"You are really no fun. You only ask questions and more questions."

He turns his back on her. And starts to walk

Natsumi replies to him :"I see you won't answer my question. It doesn't matter either way, I already know what you tried to erase."

Light was surprised hearing that. He replies to her :"Oh, you know?! Then tell me what was written in that sentence or what that means?"

Natsumi replies to him :"I will tell you. It's...."
