Chapter 3:

Five Years After Reincarnation

While Having Cheats And Bonus In My New Life At Fantasy World, As A Closet Otaku, I Will Be Living The Way I Want

Five years passed since I reincarnated in this world.

The world itself here had magic as an everyday life.

Everyday doing things to everyday items you could find in every house and elsewhere, when I saw it for the very first time after I regained 'consciousness', I was excited to see how to harness it besides combat applications.

'I wonder if I should ask Mom about teaching me some non-combat magic quick before they arrive?'

At those thoughts while looking at the clouds after closing a book I recently read in the library, I relaxed as I saw some various shapes and sizes of those things being itself.

'Clouds, how nice to see them besides having sisters and a family.' I thought, watching the clouds at the windows via my house's library.

I'm currently in the library for studying history, reading journals, and some books related to monsters and magic for the purpose of fulfilling my otaku fantasy one of these days.

Reborn in a household of a fairly well-off clan as Caesar MacMillan, the country that I currently live was called the Imperial States of Angevine, a constitutional monarchy that came from the union of Kingdom of Freival, Kingdom of Graypeak, Principality of Fuchswald, Unified Confederation of Lhant, Free City State of Doge, and other nations 15.5 years ago.

From what read about this country through books, my parents and my grandparents, the Imperial States originally started from Freival when the now-current emperor pulled a lot of reforms that made the country itself to become a rising power which in turn caused the non-friendly states to start wars with some long-dead corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and nobles leaking information or any treasonous acts at those times because of the reforms that rebuilt and modernized the country, kicking off the War of Coalition when Angevine was a union of Freival and Graypeak at that time.

Reforms...it apparently was like one of my duties when the upper brass and Andre assigned me to a unit whose mission was to do 'things' in Europe together with the commandos against the Nazi thugs and any threats in the name of rewriting history and giving the next generation a better future than what we 'formerly' had through using our knowledge of history, events, and giving away old generation-types of technology that were still handy usage and duties to the deserved countries so that they'll have good road of development than a bad ending which was known to us, the 'uptimers', chain of events and bad parties who made the country and its inhabitants very bad to look at time-wise and politically from the original timeline, we, the 'up-timers', left behind.

By leaving behind the original time unexpectedly after the transition back then, we basically removed the 'bad eggs', crafted a constitution that promotes best practices, merits and transparency, laid out the ground work, shared the knowledge and technology.

Anyways, as the first-born child in this new life of the world I had been given, the life I had was sort of normal with a fact that my grandfather was a retired red-ranked adventurer who turned to passing his knowledge and skills to me recently with himself giving inputs to the clan businesses when needed, having adopted sisters very closer to me, and a beautiful executive personal maid assigned to me, named Sasame, the very same person I first met, looking after me, sharing stories, and playing together with my cousins and other two beautiful maids assigned to me.

Today, I was told by my parents yesterday I'll be meeting two tutors hired by them.

They'll be arriving today.

"Young Master." called out my beautiful black-haired executive maid, Sasame Minazuki, who knew my whereabouts. The Yamato native, a Siren with a small dosage of elven blood in her veins, wore her usual maid uniform which suited her as always. And no, I don't think I have a maid fetish, I appreciate them when worn by cute and beautiful girls such as Sasame and others including my friends from my past life. "You have 1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare."

"Thank you reminding me, Sasame." I thanked the demihuman, causing her to bow and smile.

"As always like you instructed me to, Goshujin-sama."

Sasame Minazuki, was a reliable executive maid and person in a way that she did those things for her job a lot of times, I think. Besides her work and my bond with her, Sasame's beautiful youthful appearance, which I say, a girl in her early 20s I suspected, her race, the genetics and traits, were the main cause of myself thinking there's such a genuine beautiful race found in fiction maintaining their younger appearance even in death bed, exist. I apparently learned from her she and the rest of the maids has combat training which fulfilled my lust of seeing maids being very handy in combat situations than a noncombatant trope.

"Let's go, Sasame. I've many things to see and learn in this world."

The maid smiled.

With her by my side after exiting the Clan Library of our estate, our current residence, via sliding door, we went through the corridor then to downstairs.

My bedroom was located on the 3rd Floor which would take 3 more flights downstairs from the 6th Floor.

"Caesar!"

At the halls of 6th Floor, a slightly taller 10-year-old blonde elf girl affectionately hugged me as usual as I hugged her back with Sasame herself, staying clear from us, the siblings, closer to each other.

"There, there, Sophia, I'm here for you, no matter what circumstances." I half-jokingly said to the elf. "I'm sure Suzu and Anya will love to hear it more from me outside our usual game of pretend."

"Oh jeez, why do you have to mention Suzu and Anya?" At my mention of our other adoptive sisters, Suzuka and Anya, Sophia pulled back a little in time for me to see her cute pout turn into a playful smile I know well with her attractive blue eyes showing mischief and playfulness. "Jeez, I can't believe my brother already gets tired of me already despite my effort of trying to be a big sister in spirit."

I chuckled a bit. "Says the elf who started a trend of making myself a personal hug pillow."

"I-I am not ashamed of that! At least I lend you my notes and books for yourself to study.... including demonstrations of what I could do!"

Sophia MacMillan, she's the oldest of us, five, the not-blood related siblings with Anya being the second oldest. She's originally from Höfuðpappír Forest but circumstances five years ago made it what it is today. Ignoring her being almost clingy as Anya, who probably was taking a rest after coming home, she's that very helpful to me in a way that I gained knowledge and Sofia Preparatory School-related topics and life from her experience as a student.

"Whatever, you say, Sophia-nee." I jokingly replied as I then excused myself with an easygoing smile. "Now, if you excuse me, Sophia, I have to prepare myself to meet my teachers."

Sophia cheeringly nodded. "Good luck. Don't forget to use [Cleaning], okay?"

'The super duper useful non-attribute spell the world ever existed. Gonna thank Sophia for that.' "Sure and thank you for teaching that null spell."

"You're welcome, Caesar."
